Bringing the old map back....

The original project zomboid map but with extra additions such as new

buildings,location, retexture...

(EX:the tower/skyscraper and some others will have a rooftop entrance)

(burned down building on the north of the map will be enterable and look better)

(lake,camps,ect)

 

So basically adding new things that will make it more interesting/challenging when exploring Muldraugh

Remember this is a test version of it not the final version:

It currently has the default last stand zombie spawn also it has wall bugs that i cant fix,just gota wait until next patch (burned apartments/bar/grocerystore/bedstore)

 

 

The final version will  be much harder than this one and:

will include 2 other cells

I hated playing on that map. I felt doomed from the start. Everywhere I went,t here was nowhere I wanted to be.

PS:I might move the farm on the west side of the map and put a prison instead,im yet undecided...

If you're adding new things, does this mean a more filled Knox County? Maybe a gun store, Military Base, Police Stations, and etc.?

Well that was kinda the premise of the game by that point.

 

I was actually waiting to get shot by the military each time i got near the boarder of the map.

 

Shame we wont get that kind of Quarentine-You-Are-Doomed feel in the new map

I just liked how close everything was. It seemed like I was put in a dense location in which zeds were at every turn. It really got me on my toes sneaking everywhere so not one deadhead would find me. 

I can't wait to put this in my map library. HURRY UP!!! I want the feeling of the glory days back at my finger tips.

This is really a good idea Will this be included into the official map maybe as an other new town or a pice of a new town in the corner of the map ? Or maybe even integrated into the existing muldrohhhhh???

Yep,all in one cell...Not sure about the military base unless i do a quarantine zone/military on a new cell, it will problaly be an urban style town/quarantine

Is why modding is a thing. We plan to distribute the map mod that RingoD's undoubtedly going to resurrect at some point. As you may probably know he compiles all the maps (with modder approval) he can get his hands on into one big uber map, so we can get it into the game as an alternate map choice and credit all the contributors. However we never want non-canon map stuff in the main game, cause that demo map is not somewhere in Kentucky or anywhere close to it.

Well multiplayer is comming in the NEXT release so be patient!

I personaly hate consoles so Wii version is not important for me

NPCs should be a bit more of a priority (i think this is more important then HUNTING) also a good and very deep story but the devs say they are working on it. As they are only a small team (i think 5 ppl?) Give them some time and play other things while we wait for npc and story....

Airstrike im not sure as it would make some parts of the map not usabele anmore and in time you would run out of playable map....
