    This mod adds a lot of medicaments and medicinal items.
    Hello everyone. I want to introduce you this mod which add immersion medicine in vanilla Project Zomboid.

    Innovations
    System of blood types (ABO) 
    Blood type is assigned to you randomly after game started. Each blood type have a unique features.
    To find out your blood group look into the console or apply a blood type test
     
    Blood types chances:
     
     
    System of blood transfusion
    System of blood transfusion allow you to do a blood donation. All you need is empty blood bag and refrigerator for storage. 
    Also you can do a blood transfusion from blood bag to player. You need a I.V. Starter Kit. But remember that you need to know the compatibility of blood groups. Otherwise, you will die
     

     
    System of advanced meds properties
    Each pills also have a unique features. Aspirin like painkillers, activated charcoal help you from poisoning, fluoxetine is a powerful anti-depressant, tetracycline help you from sickness and poisoning, nitroglycerine heals you a little.
     
    Overdose of drugs
    Each med. drug is very dangerous if you don't know measure. Be careful with your health. Otherwise, you will die
     
    Cautery
    Now you can cauterize your bleeding wounds with heated knives and gunpowder. Cautery stops your bleeding but it leaves burns.
     
    Pharmacology
    Now you can craft your own pills! You need to learn book of pharmacology for new recipies and find all required components.
     
    Ethnoscience
    Now you can make herbal tea! You need to have "Herbalist" or "Scout" traits (This traits give you a bonus to searching!) to find all required herbs for cooking. Also you can examine all ingame herbs. Basic information is avaliable for everyone. For advanced information you need "Herbalist" trait.

    This mod lets structures come crashing down when their support structures are removed. All structures must have a wall in a 5x5 area below or get destroyed.
    Also prevents players from building floors more than 3 tiles away from any wall.
    Be aware that any player (and zombie) that is below a crashing structure will get hurt, maybe even killed...

    I play games like Project Zomboid because I like the semi-realistic scenario and challenges to survive. No other mod has given me the realism I've wanted when it comes to food preservation and most specifically, canning. Ultimately, for a game that strikes to immerse the player into the game world, canning food for prolonged preservation shouldn't be as easy as simply putting food in a jar and sealing it. So I decided to make this mod to enhance my own gameplay and that of those that seek more realism from food preservation.
    This mod adds new mechanisms so that survival still remains challenging and food preservation doesn't become a thought of the past. The implementation of everything you can can is based off real life canning. Each canning option closely resembles how that food item would be canned in real life; skipping a few steps and/or details here and there to keep things fun and not overly complicated.

    Pickling Canning Options: Pickles, Broccoli, Cabbage, Leek, Carrots, Bell Pepper, Radish. Open Kettle Canning Options: Strawberry Jam. Water Bath Canning Options: Strawberry Jam. Pressure Canning Options: Rabbit, Rodent (Rat, Mouse, Squirrel), Bird, Fish(All types except bait fish). Extend your food's lifespan with the Pickling Method. The simplest and fastest way to get into canning. Simply cook up some brine, have your vegetables ready and put it all in a jar, seal it, and you're all done! The food might taste a little salty though, but hey now your food will gain a preservation span of 7 days. Extend your food's lifespan with the Open Kettle Method. You can cook and prepare the food that you wish to can in a kettle, pour it in a jar, seal, and that's it! Food processed this way will gain a preservation span of 15 days. Extend your food's lifespan by using the Water Bath Method.You can cook and prepare the food that you wish to can in a regular pot, pour it in a jar, seal, and then place up to 5 sealed jars in a water bath canner to get a tight seal.     TEST THE MOD: if you'd like to see how the mod works without having to collect everything and test it out; press the 'HOME' key to enable the testing feature, instructions will appear in your console that runs along with Project Zomboid. Press the 'END' key if the instructions don't show up after pressing the 'home' key. Keep in mind each time you spawn a set of items for testing the testing feature is disabled. This is as to avoid having you accidentally spawn items without wanting to do so.
    P.S: There might be an error where you press HOME and then another key to spawn items and won't work; try about 3 times and it should work.

    Hi fellow modders !
     
    Since 32.20 is out on the IWBUMS branch and we can now use the Steam Workshop, I have seen a lot of mods being aded with the standard preview or preview that doesn't give the the right feeling of all the mod awesomeness.
     
    So I decided I could help moders by creating their Preview.png file to help them showing off their mod quality on the first sight !

    Have not seen a pet store yet.  It would be awesome if you could raid a pet store for bunnies, fish, dog whistle, food etc.  This is my first attempt at making a building with the building editor.  Image sample in jpg and png. It's based off a real pet store. Minus the closet and pet care rooms. Feel free to use the design layout.

    After a very long time of waiting  I have decided to bite the bullet and do my own research and find out how to make a custom map for Project Zomboid. After a Red Bull fueled, grueling 3 days of research I have finally found out how to get started with making a map. I have decided that I would do the community a service and create a tutorial video on how to make a map. A complete all in 1 guide that covers all aspects of the tools and steps needed to get your creativity in gear. The video is long, but worth the watch as you will be on your way to making maps in just a little over 1 hour. I've also added skippable chapters in the video description so you can skip ahead or easily find what your looking for.
     
    ~update~ I've added another video explaining the spawnregions.lua file. It is annotated in the video with a link.
     
    This wouldn't be possible without some help from others and would like to thank Capt_Paradox, Will, RingoD123, and EasyPickens for your support!

    I thought that it may be useful that I share my experience with custom tilesets with PZ Map Editor. I did a little tutorial to explain the process to adding your own tilesets to PZ and how to create your own tiles. In bonus, you will find a little chapter about adding more fences to the fences tool.

    How to : One object on multiple tiles  
    WARNING : Custom tiles only work with the Map tool at the moment. If you try to load a custom maps which contains custom tiles in PZ, those tiles will not load.
     
    I'm trying to find a way to load those new tileset in PZ but it seems to be hard without some modding support from the dev. If I'm not wrong, Tiles are stocked into Tiles.pack. You can unpack it with a tool that you can find on this forum, but I didn't know what to do with all unpacked files.
     
    Even if I success in repacking the files with the custom tiles, it means that it will be very hard for multiples modders to use multiples sources of custom tiles. They will need to unpack and repack every time they add a new tilesets and it will work only for their maps.
     
    Could the best solution be to use the same process with modding items and profession ? For example, we put the new tileset in a mod/MyMod/media/textures/Tileset_MyTileset.png and it load/overwrite the tileset ? I think it would be more easy to use multiple tileset from multiple sources.

    Greetings ladies and gentlemen!
    My name is sir.twiggy and I am a twitch TV streamer / youtuber. I write here today in the hopes of attracting the interest of the mapping community at large! I plan on hosting a humongious project zomboid multiplayer server with world wrap. I'm attempting to gather talented people from the mapping community and integrate their work into this project. In the end the map will consist of several contenents, islands, many different terrain types, cities, towns, villages, rivers, lakes, mountains, and more spread across the entire map. The aspect of world wrap is of great importance to the project so that there will never be a map edge, just a mountain, ocean, or some other obsticle preventing easy access, but can still be overcome.
    At the moment I am doing massive amounts of planning and approaching specific individuals in an attempt to integrate already existing community created content into the project.
    However, if anybody has specific suggestions, requests, or would like to volunteer their help; please reply in this thread, pm me, or send me an email @ sir.twiggy.white@gmail.com.
    I am very easy to get along with and I'm eager for submissions! If you want to make a specific area, city, forest, desert, or whatever, go for it! I will personally look at all submissions and we can all work as a group to create the ULTIMATE project zomboid multiplayer map!
    In the end I hope to host the server for massive amounts of players. I would love to reach the point where we have dozens of separate player factions spread all across a massive and dynamic world map.
    I know this is ambitious but with help from the community I truly believe we can have a one of a kind player experience!

    Those that have been around since the old forums may remember that i used to run a Map mod (RingoDs Mega Multi Cell Map Mod) that took all the awesome new buildings and map cells that had been created by you modders and amalgamated them into one "supermap" that was based around the original PZ map:
     
    Well, with the release of the new mapping tools, i feel its time to get this back on track!
     
    The plan:
     
    1) Convert the whole of my previous map to work with the new version.
    2) Start updating with all the new buildings/maps that have been created with the new map tools.
    3) Update with more buildings/map cells if/when available.
     
    This will inevitably lead to a "HUGE" map mod, which i intend to be added to the existing game world, never overwriting it, meaning it will always give you the biggest game world possible. As the official map increases in size/density i can easily move the modded portion to different areas if need be.
     
    What YOU need to do (if you want to be invloved).
     
    1) just keep making buildings and/or map cells like you have been, making sure room definitions etc have been used correctly (needed for proper loot spawning and for future NPC's to navigate properly). If you would like it to be part of the Mega Map Mod then make sure to tag it with the "Free For All", "Credit where its due" or even the "Ask for permission" Spiffo. Needs to be TBX format buildings.
     
    2) If anyone would like to help me convert the buildings from my old map mod into versions that will work in the new system then drop me a PM. The more help i get with this will obviously help speed up the first release of this new map mod, allowing me then to concentrate on adding the new buildings etc people have been working hard on. It will just be a case of looking at one of the "old" buildings and remaking it in the new building editor.
     
    Anyone/Everyone who contributes (or allows there work to be used in this mod) in any way will obviously be given full credit. I will also update this OP whenever someone has PM'ed me asking to help convert the old buildings so we can keep track of who is converting what building/area.
     
    There are some good threads around to help teach people how to use the map tools and the building editor, if you havnt taken a look already but are eager to take part in this project then i suggest having a look at these threads first:

    So I've been seeing some of the recent maps being made and it motivated me to make this huge map. Still don't really know the dimensions or if it will even turn out right in the map editor when done. It's the map based on the game Arma II or DAYZ standalone. Still, since you can't really use your own maps in game I guess it's pointless until that day comes. Also just waiting until we get the ability to make curved roads and that sort of thing but during this time I'd thought I'd show what the potential may be. Hopefully if things do go in that direction I'd probably start from scratch. LOL. Anyways just wanted to show this and if anyone could help me out with dimensions and pixels and how big roads should be compared to dirt roads and building sizes and so forth. I'd appreciate some tips. Will be making some cool buildings once I get the hang of the map editor, hopefully.

    This map is HUGE. updated the map a bit today. A bit more of touching up the Main and Veg maps with dense forests, building placeholder and whatnot.
