    Why so many, so open to cheating and server bashing ??
    With all the power given, waiting to see how many post up in later time that there server was taken over/ shut down by an angry Mod/player.
    (Manipulate whitelist,   Change access level,  See server options - Nope, just nope)
     
    Why not something easy:
     
    Helper/Observer:  
    Basic use,
    kick, mute
    Answer tickets,
    Teleport to player
    Toggle- Can't be hit by players
     
    MoD: 
    As above+,
    Can modify player stats in the player stats UI,
    Ban, Unban
    Can always join server (even if full) ,
     
    Admin:  
    Full power.
    can not be kicked, banned

    You're right about that, but as a guy who need to dig trough snow to get outside of his appartment when it's winter i can also say you wouldn't be freezing to death with a jacket on at 6°C. In fact, a simple hoodie and pair of jeans would do a good job at keeping you alive. It's -11°C here right now and i'm doing just fine with my autumn jacket. I'll probably wear that until we reach between -20°C and -30°C, then i'll get my winter jacket and probably freeze to death even with that thing on if i spend extended periods of time outside.

    Right now character reactions and endurance to lower temperature doesn't make sense. I don't get why i'm getting hungry or tired because of the cold. The only reason i'm more tired in winter is because days are shorter and it's still dark outside when i wake up and as soon as i'm done with work. Nothing to do with the temperature. And if something i eat less because i don't heat my place very much and the floor is cold as **** so i avoid going downstairs for as long as possible when i'm home. Don't get me wrong, winter IS deadly and should be in the game if unprepared, but with a little bit of preparation anyone would do just fine under these conditions. Especially in those soft winter conditions the Kentucky map offer.

    To me it sounds like the Body Temperature Stuff makes the game way too complicated in the wrong areas of the game.
    The simple system we had was allready pretty good IMO - simple Rules - Dress Warm in Winter, get a heating source for your bedroom to not catch a cold - dont stay out for too long in the rain.
    Now its like, dont have any holes in your gear, wear multiple layers of clothes, get gloves, finde a scarf and a wooly hat, check the insulation on every piece of gear. And the opposit for summer, better dont wear anything when fighting zombies, protection gear might get you killed because overheating. As much as i like that there are a lot of changes - i really dont like the direction this goes.
    the penaltys are set way too harsh.
     
    It would be really nice if you add the option to disable the new core temperatur stuff to stay with the old system - this change converts the Game into a Simulatior - i dont like to play simulators. I Like a lot of the changes - but not being able to disable this theroms stuff would keep me from enjoying the game in the long term

    Some Ideas ... Collect Spiffos and rare Spiffos. Spiffos contains Coins, Rare Spiffos contains special Coins.
    Trade Coins for random Items. Trade Special Coins for special Items (like epic Weapons, special Backpacks  or unique Recipes)
    Fight against each other to get all Spiffos.

    *UPDATE* Hey all! I've updated my manual a bit, to reflect some of the recent changes in the Steam Early Access release, including combat changes and additions, Challenge modes etc. Although a manual may be a bit redundant with Spiffo's "Zomboid Survival Manual" now in the game, and the inevitable tutorials that will eventually be added, I thought it may still come in handy for some.     Hey all,

    I've created an "UNOFFICIAL" manual for Project Zomboid, mainly to assist those new to the game, and might help in the interim before the Kate and Baldspot story/tutorial are back in.

    NOTE: The details in the manual are fairly up-to-date, but as PZ is still in active development, anything in the guide is subject to change etc. Apologies for any errors, I'll try and update it as necessary. (*EDIT* This was made before the "Last Stand" mode and some other additions were added. Will update the manual at some stage and re-upload)

    Choose your own % of Runners, Walkers, Shamblers - and Crawlers! You missed those, didn't you. 
    By default, you should get ~5% Runners, 60% Walkers, ~33% Shamblers, and ~2% Crawlers.
     
    Only works if you choose "Random" for zombie speeds in Sandbox.
     
    Not sure if this is 100% reliable, but it seems to work so far.

    It's a negative trait for a reason. Deaf removes sound from the game entirely. By taking the trait, you're taking those risks. It wouldn't make sense to have a toggle because it'd negate the entire point of the trait
     
    (Admittedly, when I first started playing PZ nearly 5 years ago, I always took deaf because I thought it gave me free points with no repercussions. I never knew that the game had sounds in the first place until I decided not to take it.)

    As this is a mod idea... why does it matter that the game is set in the 90s? Aren't there also gun mods that add non-90s stuff? Why is it nobody complains about them? (That's a rhetorical question, I know why.)
    Theme consistency shouldn't be enforced hard when it comes to mods... after all, nobody is forced to download and use them.

    Ok so;
     
    1) In order to get blood you would need to go to a hospital... after a zombie apocalypse where 99.99% of the town/city entire area is dead/zombified (I would say this is a bad idea)
     
    2) If you didn't pre-think about this, you would be attempting to get blood while weak and frail... running into problem (A) when you're most vulnerable (Probably a very bad idea too)
     
    3) You also need to beat the timer of power going out and the blood going bad

    4) If you manage to get the blood, you need to have a way to store that blood yourself properly. You must also be able to identify if the blood has gone bad before using it.

    For those that don’t know, there are currently 5 server mod rolls.
    (Observer, GM, Overseer, Moderator, Admin)
     
    The Observer roll (lowest) has the following permissions:
     
      Toggle invisible (on himself only)
    Toggle god mod (on himself only)
      See players connected (/players)
      Teleport to a player (can't teleport a player elsewhere)
      Can toggle noclip (on himself only)
      Teleport to coordinates
      See server options
      Can open locked doors
      Can go inside safehouses
      Can't be kicked if too laggy
      Can always join server (even if full)
      Can talk even being invisible
      Sees invisible players
      Can't be hit by players
      Log directly invisible/invincible
      Can see players stats (name, skill, traits...) with click on player -> Check Stats (but can't modify them)
     
     
    I would like to raise the idea to remove the following permissions. Making the roll a more Helper roll. This would allow server owners to assign rolls that general players can use and still play with.  Having the extra permissions (below) makes the player over powered.
     
      Can open locked doors - (remove)
      Can go inside safehouses – (remove)
      Can toggle noclip (on himself only) - (remove)
      Can't be hit by players – (Change to toggle)  or (Remove and just use the PvP toggle option)
     
    Add permission:     
    View And reply to tickets

    A huge portion of the game is spent on organization and looting; there are a few changes that would make that process much more pleasant. These are not quite as fun or exciting as new features, but I believe these would provide a huge boost to the player's experience with (relatively) little work.
     
    Namely:
    More sorting categories to break up the huge amount of useful items whose category is "Item" Split "literature" into: "learning" (skill books/mags), "literature" (newspapers, magazines, etc.) , and "logs" (notebooks, diaries, sheets of paper) Rename the skill books so that they automatically sort by Textbook/Magazine > Skill Type > XP level  
    Perhaps harder to implement:
    Ability to rename all objects. This would be quite useful for organizing equipment, tools, and clothing, as well as provide more immersion for things like dolls or favorite pens. It would even help for food if you needed to remind yourself which head of lettuce has been sitting out longer Change "annotated map" objects to include the town's name, i.e. "Rosewood Map - Annotated" Be able to "combine" many more multiple-use items (like how you can take two 50% alcohol wipes and make one 100% alcohol wipes). It'd be great for non-perishable foods, gasoline, etc.

    How are you going to up-shift, down-shift, and clutch on a joypad?  Even the keyboard is packed at this point.

    What would it add vs. just having cruise control (maintaining speed based on w/s presses), beyond pleasing the half-dozen people in 2  years that seem to think it'd add "realism?" 
     
    PZ's not Gran Turismo, but isometric. Even CDDA doesn't bother with that.

    Lets wait for now, I still need to do more testing and had a few features i wanted to implement, plus more updated examples and touchups on the documentation.
    Just didn't want to hold back the github version since the clothing features for custom profession outfits are handy
