    Bugs/Balance/Suggestions
    1. It doesn't seem to affect dead crawlers ( so no bump )
    2. After you drive over corpses, it may boost you a lot, so you'll speed up like crazy and drive into wall.
    3. Zombies can't damage car windows and the most important kill you ( even if your windows already broken ) while you sleep.

    3.  Make zombies splat blood only if you hit them at high speed.
    4. Make that "2 cars hit each other event" with spawning only hood damage. They spawns at this time full damaged/only slightly at some places.
    5. Make that, if you go out of your car on full speed, you get wounds ( scratches, deep wounds, broken bones).

    6. You added super-rare cars, that was "carred off by survivors" ( in good condition+filled with gas). Why not also add as loot inside that cars something like annotaded maps, weapons&other stuff? Plus, you can add again super-rare vehicle, that is related to some profession, but have a lot of items ( said, police car with shotgun and alot of ammo, Mailvan filled with newspapers etc ). Of course, make it balanced.

Couch potato - refuses to exercise when bored.
Gym nut - gets a happiness boost instead of boredom during exercising.

It'll be fun to watch my character do push ups while I slouch over in my chair, mouse in one hand, slice of pizza in the other.

The main problem I see with this is people wanting to apply it to different areas, which may be a slippery slope. Will you also be able to practice swinging your bat (learn accuracy)? Practice aiming and reloading a gun without firing?

Of course, you can say yes to all these, and I would, but... yeah. Sounds like a neat idea to me, but your character should get bored if all he does is grind push ups all day.

    Hello, zomboiders!
So, while this animation work is going on I suggest to add ability to train yourself in the game. For example, push-ups and catch-ups on the bar.

As I've heard, Strength and Fitness degrades over time, but what if you are stuck on the rooftop with horde of zeds waiting outside? Right, you do push-ups. Even if you own katana and have cool dreadlocks, you still need to do push-ups (we can clearly see that in the end of 3rd season).

I offer to add something like this:

1 Push-up gives you 3 point in strength and 1.5 in fitness.

1 catch up on the bar gives you 6 points in strength and 3 in fitness,
but requires horizontal bar and it's alot more exerting.

And, if average Joe does <insert here the number of push-ups that average Joe can do>, he receives moderate exertion moodle. If he does 1.5x push-ups, he receives high exertion moodle. And if he does 2x push-ups,he recieves highest exertion moodle. Same goes for catch-ups.

It can be an another option to do something for long winter nights, when you don't want to sleep.  I understand that it looks kinda grindy, but if someone wants to grind, he will grind anyway. It just adds more freedom for player.

Sorry, if I said something wrong. We, khajiits don't learn English in the Elsweyr.

No, when your adrenaline is pumping, you sometimes have no idea how you were hurt. You could even be shot and not fully realize it.

Then what we need is to remove the health status indicator and replace it with how you "feel" which can be influenced by many factors making it impossible to know if it is psychological or physical without thorough examination by a doctor.

How to diagnose zombie infection in 2 easy steps:

    1. Eat something to get a healing boost.
    2. If your health status goes to OK, you are good, if it says 'minor injuries' (or whatever it was in English), you are infected.

You're right, but doesn't one already knows that, since he was in the fight? It's obvious, when someone stabs you in the stomach or a zombie grabs and bites a hand.

And I'd kinda liked to see more types of wounds in PZ. I liked it in Rimworld, but that sounds like a copying, which is no good... It was done good there: cuts, bruises, cracks. Even weapon that made the injury was described there (Which could make some pretty cool detective stories, though). It would also be interesting and logical to see some losses. I know, that amputation and other are planned, but all "parts" in PZ are major: legs, arms etc. Zombie could still bite off finger or an ear. I sound obsessed with Rimworld, aren't I?

Zombification is one of the most important things in the game. But it's so obvious, that sometimes ruins itself. When you see 2 main symptoms - Anxiety and Queasy -  you know what it is (Except for newbies, that don't read wiki), and you know that you can't save your character. I suggest a few things:

    Hypochondriac by default
Hypochondriac is one of my favourite traits in the game. it adds to the gameplay so much.

What do most players do without this trait when they get a scratch and see the symptoms - kill everything that you can, you'll die anyway. What does player with Hypochondriac? Waits, maybe it's not true zombification! It gives you a chance.

I would rather pay points to not be Hypochondriac, than get points for being him.

    Diagnosing
One of the main signs of zombification is anxiety. It's logical, that character fears for his life, but why he does that only when illness kicks in? I'd be anxious in that situation from the moment of scratch. So, I suggest to add (lowest) anxiety moodle even if you're not ill.

I suggest to add diseases to the medical tab, near the wounds.

Similar to "Hand: scratch", something like "Whole body: Queasy". I have 2 ideas how to deal with it.

    1) Click on the queasy (Similar to bandaging), select (Diagnose). Sure, unskilled one wouldn't determine right away, so, maybe, make it depend it character's medical skill?

No skill or a little bit of skill - something like "I can't say..." or just a low chance of finding out truth.
    Some skill - mediocre chance.
    Doctor+ - maybe good old 95%?

That would also give you a reason to team up with people and level up medical skill.

    2) Write symptoms directly. Like "Queasy: coughing, vomiting, high body temperature". It would be more interesting for the player, but easier too. You could still find combos in wiki and remember them, but it sounds kinda fun.

What do you think about it? Is it hard to implement?

DramaSetter reacted to hunger john in NPC Faction Ideas
I don't think that preset factions would fit well in the game.

Rather than have these different factions form on their own in the exact same place every time, let the players influence just how territory changes hands and what factions form. Have the game start with no factions as the quarantine was just recently placed on the game area, and have NPCs/the player form them on their own over time.

Allows the player to feel their actions have direct consequence earlier on. Clearing an infested warehouse and coming back later to find bandits have set up shop is a more enriching experience than the warehouse having always had a preset group.
Deeper player agency as they discover what actions can be taken to ensure different consequences. For example, this could be helping someone badly hurt, and weeks later when they're the leader of a nearby group they might be more receptive to bartering. Instead of the prison always having a tough set of armed inmates, let the game decide what outcome happens. Say the prison always starts with a dozen inmates, and five guards. What are their traits? Upon world generation, the prisoners could all end up psychopathic, athletic brawlers that massacre the guards, or a mishmashed group of craven gardeners and hunters that are quickly put in check. This means several things:

The results add variety and depth to the prison area The player could arrive at the prison early and directly influence the outcome This allows for deeper consequences. You could help the prisoners take over, and then later they could ally with your own faction, or perhaps they just decide to terrorize the entire Rosewood area instead.
I think there's just too much to be explored with more RNG-decided factors, rather than preset factions.

DramaSetter reacted to Lightning Flash in More Erosion Options (Up To 20 Yrs)
I remember when it was just a mod, the Erosion would cover large areas of the road, sidewalks, driveways and buildings. It would look like a place abandoned for twenty years at best.

But now the erosion just seems to have some vines here and there, some grass patches here and there, and so on. Of course, that's only one year. But how far should it go?

I think it should go up to twenty years. At this point, very little would remain and most food would have gone bad by then. I don't know if any canned foods would survive up to this point, considering the average expiration is 3-6 years, so most food is gone and the only water would be by the river. The only way for this time to work right would be to give the player a couple of cans to suggest they were in a camp off map and are no longer there. Maybe there could be a safe-zone that was recently overrun, allowing a good stockpile of supplies. Then there's the nonperishable foods that would be edible.

Clothing at this point would be dirty after neglect from twenty years.

The zombies would be shamblers, definitely decayed. Don't know how they'd look after twenty years. Perhaps it could imply that Knox and few others were lost to the infection, and the rest of America finally fell twenty years later. That could work.

This period of time would only be for the most hardcore or experienced players, or just people who'd like to see how hard it is.

I don't know, I just really love erosion and landscapes becoming overgrown with plant life. I'd just really love to see what places like Muldraugh and West Point would look like after twenty years.

Very simple suggestion this time (as i've run a game with Nutrition active for change) :

Add a Nutritionist book in game that learn you the skill (as "The Herbalist" or "How to branch a generator" magazine).

Also add to the description of this item some sentence like the following line : "Learn to know food values and how to reach the 1500 cal./day* you need to stay in shape."

    * : it take me some research to exhume the 1500 cal. info (actually from a msg in Steam forum) that allow me to keep my characater near a stable weight... So, yes, it matters to know that particular info IG to stop gain/loss of weight.

I'm still not sure you need to keep geting 1500 cal a day, but you indeed need to go for that amount at some point to reach the stable state on weight balance (in PZ world)...

I think they should add forklifts (specifically propane powered) around factories, mills, large businesses, and building sites.  The Fork could flip cars onto their back (or right side up),  or carry goods with a pallet attached.  I say propane powered so that propane tanks become even more sought after; especially when the power craps out and barbecues become necessary.  It would be relatively quiet and have a small turning radius, but would be slow, difficult to repair, and leave the character exposed to attack.

In old sitcom comedy Maried whith children from 1987 to 1997 they show Bundy drive's his old Dodge. And Rich neighbour's ride their BMV, Mercedes. Modern car's now are great. But in most richer neigbous'r should be parked cars like lincoln, bigger SUV"s (Suburban), and some modern pickup's (current one resembles 1970 model's).  In trailer park's could be car's like bundy car. In High Middle more expensive car's. Modern Car's should be placed in shop's parking lot's.
And the car's should give player more confort (Richer more than rest in rest and pain due to long drive)

Let's give some love to the poorer neighborhoods in Project Zomboid with one of the greatest jokes on wheels: The Yugo!

Cheap, slow, ugly, and notoriously unreliable, the Yugo was sold in the U.S from 1985 to 1992. It was cheapest car available for sale in America at the time. At least a few of these would've been kicking around the poorer neighborhoods of Louisville and trailer parks of Muldraugh. Maybe parked outside Pizza Whirled with a plastic delivery sign on the roof.

Alternately, something along the lines of an 80's era Dodge Omni/Plymouth Horizon would also've been a fairly common economy car of the time. This four-doored hatchback was still cheap and ugly, but at least it wasn't the punchline that the Yugo was.

You seem to have a tendency of being pretty aggressive towards things. The fact that you say "we got a guy nitpicking" makes me seem like a duffus. The online map itself isn't a problem, I don't see how the map not showing new areas is a big issue. To rely on a map for gameplay experience is not my thing, since to me that ruins the sense of exploration.

I get that you might need the map every now and then to travel to certain areas so you won't get lost in the almost empty world but I am sure they'll fix that soon.

You also seem to have missed my point when I did that recent report. The reason for that is there to mention the map design flaws at Riverside in-game since in my most recent playthrough I noticed those issues where breaking the immersion. Not that there's errors in the online map. As I feel the devs who made the Riverside section might of either rushed the area or just didn't pay attention. Because to me that's more important for a better gameplay experience than having to care about a user made map for the game.

It's true that the new rural areas of the game that were added in the most recent map fix are not yet on the online map, however this is not an officially complete build and as shown before there are still a ton of bugs with the map.

If the new map was processed as it stands right now, by the time you got the map @Flukey it would still be chalk full of errors.

Please have patience as this takes time. You are in a pre-release build that is widely regarded as unstable for a reason and we probably won't see this updated for some time until it enters the main build of the game.

If you're speaking about the online map, then I am well aware of that, but I looked thoroughly through the online PZ Map and there seemed to be pretty much no errors in terms of building details and locations for Riverside. To me it seems pretty much 99% accurate. (The only erros I found is that the map claims that there's light switches, doors, decorations, etc... that are placed in-game when they're really not there.

The erros you've mentioned seem to be in areas not popular or just seem to have been forgotten to add to the map since they could be fairly new additions. Since they recently added new smaller areas barely noticeable around the map.

But Still there are little to no consequences

Such as Sunburn for staying in the sun too long unprotected by clothing no more pantless summers to keep cool
