    Last time I built stairs (it has been awhile) I could only build facing 2 directions could we get the other 2 directions added?
    Left/ Up right directions were all there was I think.
    But what about Right facing and down left facing stairs...
     
    Also an ITEMS DEGRADE feature for servers and singleplayer to turn on for items left on the GROUND.
    An a list where they can set the time of specific items if desirable to degrade faster or slower or not at all.
    This is reallllly a needed feature! The poor mp servers where we all just toss our crap on the ground!
     
    Oh tree sapling planting too! Maybe I want an area to have nicely set trees to make it look pretty!

    Long-Term Crafting Projects (CrafTecs)
    This mod is a complete overhaul of the building worldobjects mechanics (like walls, doors and such).
    Current state
    The mod is fully functional as of IWBUMS 34.something.
    Mechanics
    The mod requires you to start CrafTecs (working name) on squares, then add parts like planks and nails. After that, you can start working on the object. If you only have half of the necessary parts, you can start building the object up to 50% completion (or whatever fraction of parts you have).
    Objects take a LOT longer than they did before. Walls take half an hour, stairs four hours, crates one hour and so on. It always felt weird putting up walls and stairs in minutes.
    To counterbalance that long time, you can stop the project at any time and resume working on it later. You can even share the work between different people! Everyone will get 0.1 point of experience per unit of progress he helped on the project. That means if you build it for 60 minutes, you will get 6 points of experience sliced into 60 times 0.1 points. Normal multipliers still apply.
    The code also allows for objects to require certain level in different skills and even allows for certain profession. This way you could, for example, require a nurse with experience in Blunt-Maintenance to build a certain object.
    You can also require MULTIPLE professions / skilllevels for a single object.
    You can also require different tools to build things. Hammers, saws, blowtorches, a waterscale, a pen, a piece of paper, anything!

    On a more serious note, the biggest problem with these might be resealing them. If you leave them unsealed, the water will contaminate.

    I miss the infinite water dispensers haha. But that is a good idea also finding unused large water dispenser bottles in storage areas would be a cool feature.

    It would be nice if there was a way to have mod's have multiple setting.
     
    IE: For in Svarog's Littering mod he has folders for "mutators" that you replace base files in his mod with to enable other features.
     
    The mod adds litter to items in the game and to foraging so you can end up finding trash instead of food.
    It would be nice if there was a customize menu for choosing what options load with the base mod.
     
    IE: In the Littering Mod's case it would have 3 additional options.
    Custom Edibles : Adds in custom edibles to the mod. No Foraging Trash : Disables finding trash when foraging. Read books stay : The books that you read stay as this mutator replaces the books with a different downgraded copy thats been read already and reduces the factors from the book. The book feature would probably need reworked if used in multiplayer as otherwise there would be extra copies of the worthless books that would not be much use to other people. Example

    I'd be happy with motor scooters and a wagon or shopping cart.
    Cars could be a bad idea if you make too much noise with them.
     
    Especially as I would hope they would be randomly placed on the map including some in crashes/pile ups hehehe. Broken down cars everywhere maybe some with zombies inside!
     
    Just a thought since they posted gas would be able to be gotten from gas stations as long as the power is up could we just haul a generator there and power it for free gas after the power is off?  Gas Stations would become trade depots and war zones in mp!

    We need to be able to find hair dyes and such in game XD.
    A Hair Stylist job would be funny too! Able to change your hair into different designs in multiplayer! (Works better as an npc char!)

    I think there should be a chance to start with random items based on your character.
    Like a 1 in 6 chance to start with different things pertaining to your job.
     
    IE: Construction Worker, Could start with a hammer, a screwdriver, or just something simple like a box of nails or a random amount between 5 and 50.
     
    Later on when more professions are added it would be nice to see options like this.
     
    Also some zombies could be made to pertain to specific jobs and have a higher chance to have stuff based on those jobs.

    Thanks for the update, PZ team! I don't play multiplayer so this doesn't effect me much, but it's still good to see you guys addressing issues and fixing them...thanks, and keep it up!

    I always though Foraging was more nature oriented and everything else was more Salvaging or Scavenging.

    For the log wall it should have different build times. No shovel = longest, Trowel = slightly shorter, Spade = shortest time. But what about those that build them on concrete? Require a hammer = longer time, Sledgehammer = shortest time.
     
    An workbench/storage area would be nice if we could prebuild then move the items to where they are needed (add in a planning mode lol) allowing entire teams to put things together. Main carpenter gets most experience for building the base of the items. Installer gets less experience for just going over and plopping them down into place.
