What is this?I got this idea from Sir.Twiggy, he always talked in his stream about how he'd love it if once an Axe is 'broken' you could remove the Axe head and make a new Axe. I liked the idea so I decided to make it. This mod ads the ability to remove the head from your Axe and craft it into a 'Makeshift Axe'. However, the Axe head does not stay sharp for ever and you may find yourself making a Blunt Axe instead. New Recipes

How to Install
Drag and drop entire your project zomboid folder. When you've launched the game select 'Mods' and double click this mod so it shows a small green tick on it. Restart your client and you're good to go.

The only reason Day Z could even be an FPS in the first place was because it started out as a mod for a larger game developed by a larger team with access to larger amounts of money and resources. And even then it was a bug riddled mess for the longest time. PZ on the other hand has been built almost entirely from scratch by just a handful of people with an exceedingly limited budget. The Indie Stone was simply working with what they could manage when they first started making the game. They chose an isometric perspective because it appealed to them as an appropriate choice for what they wanted to do with the resources they had available. And thus far it's been working out rather well for them.
 
Asking why Project Zomboid can't be an FPS like Day Z or any of the other dozens (if not hundreds) of other zombie games is like asking why you can't make orange juice from the lemons that the Indie Stone has brought for you.

Sounds like you're wanting to play a different zombie game. Might I suggest DayZ? Its first person and has zombies.

My avarar isnt supposed to be suggestive it's supposed to be a joke on how I imagine pz characters look when they eat. Eating sticks of butter is a thing you can do. It made me giggle.
