PZ Vanilla Patch 1.4.7 (DE:EN:ES:PL:RU)

Missing essential things in PZ is added, cleaning of burned ash, missing skill books, missing red and black paint, missing distributions of items and many more are all here and the list keeps expanding. The aim of this mod is enhancing gameplay but with as much vanilla feel as possible. Basically if you think something is doable in game than it should be doable (It will take a lot more additions to achieve this but read on to know what have been added).

 

Note: All features that makes the game easier are optional (default is turned on) you can turn each component off by accessing "Mod Settings", press (RShift+s). The screen will show that Mod Setting is now Enabled. Right click anywhere and you will see "Mod Settings" menu at the bottom or near the bottom. Selecting it opens 2  options ("Item Properties" & "Special Function"). "Item Properties" will make all adjustment to the said properties to be on or off so if you click "Weight" then the screen will tell you that weight is no longer adjusted but you have to exit game and load again for this to take effect. Here is the list:

 

Item Properties

  • Name Option : This turns on and off item display name modification from this mod.
  • Weight Option : This turns on and off item weight modification from this mod.
  • Durability Option : This turns on and off weapon durability modification from this mod.
  • Delta Option : This turns on and off item number of uses modification from this mod.
  • Icon Option : This turns on and off item icon modification from this mod.

Special function, it now contains only 1 option tho all special function that might feel like a cheat will be put here in the future:

  • Sleep Anytime : This turns on and off the ability to sleep even when you are not tired.

(Note: Changes you make using item properties will only be applied after exiting the game, special functions works instantly)

 

We removed weights of trivial game items like ammo etc so that you will focus more on surviving. Many adjustment are made with explanations on the change. Items in game with properties that made the game harder but is illogical like canned food and paint is adjusted. Already over powered items such as plaster and vinegar will be left alone. Some minor tweak on the way recipes work like returning the lid when opening a jarred food is also implemented and explained. Added new basic recipes to boil eggs, make sunny sunshine fried egg and also to make bowl of cereal. Some basic actions are added like wringing dishcloth and bath towels to dry them.

 

Assumption: 1 zomboid weight unit = 1kg ( because weakest character can carry about 7 and strongest character can carry about 20 plus so its assumed at least 1kg or more ). i get my weight refrence from the net and some i weigh myself using a food scale that can weigh up to 5kg. I also go to the local supermarket and hardware store to find out item weights. All weight change is accompanied by logical explanation.(as of v1.3 modification to weights, display name, durability, delta and other properties of items in game is now optional and can be switched off).

  • 01. Trivial items & equipments are set to weightless (Ammo, Nails, Screws, Needle etc).
  • 02. Non trivial items weight are adjusted to real weight if in game weight is heavier.
  • 03. Metal equipments like axe & hammer durability is increased to 5x the durability of wooden items. Its harder to break (not indestructable) to keep repair mechanism in use.
  • 04. Renamed many item display names for easy inventory management and loot organizing.
  • 05. Added new textures for some items in game to help differentiate between similar items.
  • 06. Added distribution of items that are not distributed properly and become rare like jars, & jar lids and many others.
  • 07. Added distribution update for rare mags like herbalist mag, cooking mag and hunting mag. 
  • 08. Added fix option to logically repairable items: Crowbar, Pool Cue, Raw Axe, Stone Hammer, Rolling Pin, Scissor, Screwdriver, Spade. Ignored trivial items (Butter Knife, Fork, Pen, Pencil, Spoon, Wooden Spear). Ignored undistributed items (Hockey Stick, Ice Pick, Letter Opener).
  • 09. Added ability to clean up ash from burned corpses by using a shovel.

Basic Activity -
-----------------------------------

  • 1. Added functionality to Huggable toys (Spiffo, Doll, and Toy Bear) now you can hug them for happiness and stress bonus. (Reusable after 12 hours)
  • 2. Added functionality to Simple toys (Cat Toy and Toy Car ) with similar mechanism like plushies but produces sound with very small sound radius.
  • 3. Added functionality to Sound toy (Rubber Ducky) you can press this many times but eventually you will get bored. Beware tho this makes quite a noise and attract unwanted visitors.
  • 4. Added functionality to Compound toy (Brick Toy) a toy that you can have more fun with more bricks but you have to play them on the ground so dont forget to clean up afterwards.
  • 5. Added functionality to Brain toy (Cube) A toy that you can get better at playing. When you play this and solves it you get a good amount of boredom and happiness boost but if you fail you can try again but will get a minor penalty at hapinness and boredom. After you solve this you need to rearrange the toy to play it again.
  • 6. Added functionality to Special toy (Deck of cards) that can be used to play solitaire, make house of cards, draw random card from a deck. Before playing solitaire dont forget to shuffle the card first. You will get better at solitaire the more you play it.
  • 7. Added functionality to Special toy (Yoyo) that can be played multiple times but have a small chance of getting broken. Playing it produce a bit of noise so use with moderation. To fix the yoyo you need glue or wood glue and string. You also get better the more you play this.
  • 8. Added playing the Pool Table that will give some bonus to happiness and boredom, after you complete a session you will not be able to play again for 12 hours. As you get better you will finish the session faster.
  • 9. Added playing the Park Swing that will give some bonus to happiness and boredom these activities are loud and attract zombies.
  • 10. Added playing the Merry go round that will give some bonus to happiness and boredom these activities are loud and attract zombies.
  • 11. Added playing the park slide that will give some bonus to happiness and boredom these activities are loud and attract zombies.

Camping
-----------------------------------

  • 1. Tools like matches can be used more times reflecting real world situation.
  • 2. Added a different textures for both normal and big hiking bag that look vanillaish.
  • 3. Books, Comics, Magazines & Newspapers now do not dissapear after use but become a used item that can still be used for fuel.
  • 4. Added improvised weapon: Wooden Stake that is like a wooden spear only this one is smaller and functions like a knife (can 1 hit kill a zombie) but with durability set to match the wooden spear (3x use before breaking) and with lower damage and weight, you get 2 Wooden Stakes per tree branch instead of just 1 wooden spear.
  • 5. Sleeping is now possible even when not tired. Those that like to sleep within a routine can now do so. I find it hard to play the longer time settings with this not enabled since we got bored quite fast indoors with nothing to do and also denied the choice of sleeping it off. This feature can now be turned off in mod settings special functions.
  • 6. Added Sit down on any chairs and beds to conserve stamina and for faster stamina regeneration.
  • 7. Added woodenstick as alternative component of tree branch to make wooden stake, stone hammer, wooden spear, and stone axe.
  • 8. Added basic survival lighting item torch.
  • 9. Added standing candles that can be dropped for decoration.

Combat
-----------------------------------

  • 1. Stone and chipped stone can now be thrown to produce sound and distract zombies.
  • 2. Added special zombies that is a recently turned. 1 in 100 chance to find a special zombie with proffesion items, 1 in 500 chance to find elite survivor zombie that brings quite a variety of usefull items just like what another survivor would do. Elite zombies now will carry an "Elite Tag" a dog tag like item, Special Zombies will carry "Special Name Card" that looks like a white name card, and in addition a small chiming sound will be heard when you are about to loot these zombies too, along with a message telling you that you found a special or an elite zombie. These tags and cards can be collected and acts as some sort of achievement, a little reminder on how many specials and elites you found.
  • 3. Now 80% of zombies will wear underwear as they should be those 20% are the odd one out :p.

  • 1. Added basic survival recipes like boiling and frying eggs, making a bowl of cereal.
  • 2. Added basic drink recipe for plain tea and coffee plus option to add sugar to it.

  • 1. Added missing aerosol bomb, pipe bomb and flame bomb to engineering magazine 2 (The bomb magazine :p)

  • 1. Gives back the jar lid when opening jars, some of brands are reusable.

Painting

  • 1. Paints use upgraded from 4 to 10 with reasoning: Since Paint weigh 5 ingame, i am assuming its a 5 litre version. Since we use plaster then we use optimum paint ratio compared to if we paint directly to wooden surfaces. According to expert: 1 litre paint cover approx 12 sq metres. 1 game square is about 1m since a large bed (2mx2m) occupy 2x2 blocks. wall height is usually 3m so 1 wall require 6m for both sides. Therefore 5 litre = 5 x 12m = 60m (10 walls).
  • 2. Added 2 missing paint colours black and red with full paint functionality.

Plaster & Concrete

  • 1. Plaster use upgraded from 4 to 10 with reasoning: "Realistically you need much more, with that amount of plaster you can only plaster a third of a wall. Since plaster weigh 5 (5kg plaster powder). 25kg plaster can be used for 10m area so 5kg is only for 2m. A wall needs 6m(both side). For simplicity its adjusted to match paint ratio since the original value of paint & plaster delta is both the same at 0.25.
  • 2. Concrete use are upgraded from 4 to 10 with similar reasoning as above.
  • 3. Corrected inbuilt buildmenu plaster code that was supposed to let player plaster player made walls without meeting the requirement.

Sanitary -

  • 1. Wring wet towels and dish cloth to dry them.
  • 2. Added shampoo and also its icon and distributed like a soap in game. The shampoo can be used 60x before its empty.
  • 3. Added tweak for soap so that it can be used 60x for bathing purposes.
  • 4. Bathing now works for showers and bath tubs they will make you undress and make you use soap and shampoo if you have them and will leave you wet if you do not have a towel on you. And yes you have to get dressed yourself so dont let the zombie catch you bathing or you will be forced to run around half naked while trying to get dressed.

  • 5. Bathing outside is now available so you can take a bath at the river but only if it is not too cold outside (15 degrees celcius minimum limit)
  • 6. Bucket of Water can now be used to take a bath.
  • 7. Brushing teeth can now be done using sinks preferably by using a tooth paste.
  • 8. Mug of water can now be used to brush teeth.
  • 9. Added the ability to inspect a hygene item (Soap, Tooth Paste, Shampoo) remaining number of uses by right clicking the item and selecting inspect item.

Skill Books -

  • 1. Added textures for the many different skills because all skill books are now available.
  • 2. Added missing training books for First Aid, Foraging, Electrical, Blade (Guard & Maintenance), Blunt (Guard & Maintenance), Aiming, Reloading, Sprinting, Sneaking, Light foot and Nimble and its distribution.

7 Mar 2016 - v1.3.1: Partial upgrade on fun update

  • Since the item properties change was made optional i have also to change all the available items in my txt scripts and also made them changed again in lua files. basically what i mean is that all my new items are set like a vanilla item first then using lua its modified to have the new weight so that when the option is turned off it will revert to a vanilla weight. So like when you read a comic book it will return a used comic book that has the same vanilla weight instead of the weight that this mod aim to produce so a book weighing 0.3 (original weight) when used do not suddenly turn to a 0.2 (new weight) used book :P.
  • Done 11 vanilla looking books and already assigned to skill books.
  • Added the 4 last missing skill books for sprinting, sneaking, light foot and nimble and its distribution.
  • Added option to turn off display icon modification.
  • Added option to turn off sleep at anytime function.
  • Added magazines to the book store.
  • Added aerosol bomb, pipe bomb and flame bomb to engineering magazine 2 (The bomb magazine :p)

The game will also give you information about the player rejecting you order to hug the item along with a short comment from the player after that.

14 Mar 2016 - v1.3.2: Partial upgrade on fun update 2

21 Mar 2016 - PZ Vanilla Patch Build 1.4 The Completed Fun Update & Special Zombie Update

  • Added standing candles that is exactly like the normal candle but its standing so you can drop them for decoration or roleplay purposes. Sometimes having a candle on the floor sets up the atmosphre of the apocalypse Lol.
  • Added a torch in game which is also a basic survival lighting just cannot imagine survival without torches.
  • Added woodenstick as alternative component to make wooden stake, stone hammer, wooden spear, and stone axe.
  • Added special zombies that is a recently turned. 4% chance to find a proffesion zombie with proffesion items, 1% chance to find elite survivor zombie that brings quite a lot of ammunition and food. You can detect a special zombie by its loot, if it contain a drink or food item it is probably a special zombie. an elite zombie will always carry at least 1 box of bullet.
  • Now 80% of zombies will wear underwear as they should be those 20% are the odd one out :p.
  • Fixed zombies containing massive amount of skill books bug
  • Fixed time delay bugs now any daytime hours length used will not affect timed script.
  • Added playing the Pool Table that will give some bonus to happiness and boredom, after you complete a session you will not be able to play again for 12 hours. As you get better you will finish the session faster.
  • Added playing the Park Swing that will give bonus to happiness & boredom these activities are quite loud.

  • Added playing the Merry go round that will give bonus happiness & boredom these activities are also quite loud.

  • Added playing the park slide that will give some bonus to happiness and boredom these activities are quite loud.

28 Mar 2016 - PZ Vanilla Patch Build 1.4.2 Partial Hygene & Resting Update

  • Sit down on any chairs and beds to conserve stamina and for faster stamina regeneration. (request by CaptKaspar )
  • Tweaked worm drop rate on zombies so that it will be about 1/3 of the previous drop rate. (playtester request by ditoseadio)
  • Added shampoo and also its icon and distributed like a soap in game. The shampoo can be used 60x before its empty.

18 April 2016 PZ Vanilla Patch Build 1.4.6 Part of Hygene Update

  • Updated necro forge plugin file to include missed items like torches etc also changed the formating a bit to make future update easier
  • Updated Spanish translation from Ditoseadio.

  • Some action Dialog are now able to be translated not all yet tho

I hope some of the explanations are logical :P doing this i found many interesting stuff like a mug actually is heavier than bowls, etc. Some very heavy in game items includes spoons and forks which is weighed at 0.3 (300 grams) i think which in this mod is converted to 0.03 (30 grams). All spoon and fork zombie killers should rejoice :P

Btw i am at a loss at a few modding ethics. I recently realised that 3 of the ingame skill books are not yet added inside vanilla game (first aid, foraging and i forgot the last 1) i would not have noticed this if i didnt see someone making a mod for this feature. I think that the modder split it into 3 different mod. I really need to implement this in this mod since to me its a vanilla thing. And this mod aim is to implement all things to make the vanilla game more complete. I plan to credit the modder in this mod description. What do you guys think.

I think that the modder split it into 3 different mod. I really need to implement this in this mod since to me its a vanilla thing. And this mod aim is to implement all things to make the vanilla game more complete. I plan to credit the modder in this mod description. What do you guys think.

 

It depends on the license of the mod. There are generally 4 different mod licenses available to use:

Also do note that those are the same books hydro used don't know who made it first though hydro or him :P

 

I probably use the red basic book icon for this and i generally avoid introducing new icons unless necessary and is usually using modified in game icons or unpacked unreleased icons from vanilla files :)

I recently realised that 3 of the ingame skill books are not yet added inside vanilla game (first aid, foraging and i forgot the last 1) i would not have noticed this if i didnt see someone making a mod for this feature. I think that the modder split it into 3 different mod. I really need to implement this in this mod since to me its a vanilla thing. And this mod aim is to implement all things to make the vanilla game more complete. I plan to credit the modder in this mod description. What do you guys think.

For those that wants really huge content addition i recommend Hydrocraft. HydromancerX and many others put a lot of effort into it :). I hope someday if i can consistantly update this and if mr Hydro do not mind maybe i can aquire some of his vanillaish features so that i can assist him in maintaining the mod partially.

This mod is awesome for those of us who only want to enhance the base game without changing it drastically. Thanks ShuiYin for the awesome mod!

I am glad you liked it i will try to keep the vanilla feel of the mod and also will continue updating it in a 2week to 1 month basis. So if you have any suggestion you can post it here

22 Feb 2016 - v1.2

1. Books, Comics, Magazines and Newspapers now do not dissapear after use but become
   a used item that can still be used for fuel.

2. Sleeping is now possible even when not tired to help overcome night time. those that like to sleep within a

routine can now do so ( i find it hard to play the longer time settings with this not enabled since we got bored quite fast indoors and there is nothing to do and also denied the choice of trying to sleep it off :(.
3. Adding 2 missing paint colours black and red with full paint functionality.
4. Corrected plaster code that was meant to allow build cheat to function properly.
5. Stone and chipped stone can now be thrown to produce sound and distract zombies.

upcoming planned features:

more missing skillbooks for blunt and bladed and maintenance skill books too.

adding interactivity to previously useless ingame objects (toys, tools, and others)

probably will add in money to single player game since its already implemented in some of the game modes. sometimes people just need the ability to hoard things like money :P

 

upcoming done feature waiting for version 1.3:

1. Fixing update:
added fix option to logically repairable items that do not have a fixing option:
Crowbar, Pool Cue, Raw Axe, Rolling Pin, Scissor, Screwdriver, Spade, Stone Hammer.
Ignore items that are fixable but too trivial to fix:
Butter Knife, Fork, Pen, Pencil, Spoon, Wooden Spear (i know wooden spear sounds not trivial but because

the recipe only requires 1 tree branch so i decided that its trivial or better make new ones).
Ignore fixable item that is not yet distributed in game:
Hockey Stick, Ice Pick, Letter Opener.
2. Adjusted weights of more stuff that i missed before:
crowbar, duct tape, adhesive tape, alcohol wipes, band aid etc

3. Added skill books for bladed, Guard and Maintenance.
   Added skill books for blunt, Guard and Maintenance.
   Added skill books for aiming and reloading.
   All skill books are distributed according to vanilla pattern.

4. Added distribution update for rare mags (i understand some need to be rare like
   herbalist mag (still too rare in my opinion) but some like cooking mag and hunting mag
   which only contain simple recipes is very under distributed)
    a. Distribution of Herbalist mag is added to medical offices.
    b. Distribution of Cooking mags are added to common House book shelves.
    c. Distribution of Hunting mags are added to sheds and also garages.

 

current project: making scoobydoo lego sets :) (i gotta have time for other stuff than modding too you know :P). Taking a break a bit and later will start work on useless toys (this one might take a while because i need to learn some new stuff on storing data in game permanently) i need this otherwise the toys can be used over and over again and will make boredom and unhappiness too easy to fend off :( i plan to keep a database for each separate toys so that if you play them again within a very short time than it will not work and will return a bored response from the player.

 

 

btw i really hope the Indiestone game dev can take a look at the mod and implement stuff that might be vanilla intended (maybe the red and black paint, or the plaster code fix, some distribution on items etc) thx Indiestone for making such an awesome game.

You asked for feedback in my thread about magazines so I'll give mine(and these are just the things I don't like, I like everything else so don't feel like I'm just bagging on your mod- I'm not):
 

 

Trivial items & equipments are set to weightless (Ammo, Nails, Screws, Needle etc)


Not a fan of this. PZ's weight system was specifically designed to represent both wt and how organized something is in your bags, IE a bunch of loose nails or ammo floating around your bag takes more space than nails/ammo neatly organized in a box. I really don't like such a well thought out system just thrown out.
 

 

Metal based equipments like axe and hammer durability is increased to 5x the durability of wooden items. We make it harder to break (not indestructable) so that we can keep repair mechanism in use.


Blades already outclass blunt in vanilla by an order of magnitude and this just widens the gap. If you're going to do this I would see about buffing blunt weapons somehow. Lower sledge fatigue? Buff nailbat damage/durability? Blunt all around just needs to be buffed. Big time.
 

 

Renamed many item names for easy inventory management and loot finding.


I'm worried what effect this might have for future updates and whether this will affect its compatibility with other mods.



Overall fantastic mod, just have a few quibbles I have.


And could you considering packaging up some of the changes as stand alone? I would love to have the skill books released as standalone by category. And are you going to do books for the remaining skills? Sprinting/sneak/etc ?

Metal based equipments like axe and hammer durability is increased to 5x the durability of wooden items. We make it harder to break (not indestructable) so that we can keep repair mechanism in use.

Those were my thoughts exactly, actually wanted to write if there's possible to include a version with unchanged weights (and durabilities of weapon), as while the weights in vanilla are far from being perfect, I'm not quite a fan of weightless items (weightless cigarettes are an oddity I don't like in vanilla already).

BTW: the fact you mentioned with nails is actually different in vanilla - box of nails weight exactly the same as the nails separately :P - the only benefit of boxing them is the time it takes to move them around. On the other side, boxes of ammo reduce weight A LOT (but the ammo in weapon/magazine is weightless :P)

Wow thanks guys for all the input on this mod :) it makes me aware of users perspective. My goal is to share this mod to benefit as many zomboiders as possible by increasing content but still keeping the vanilla look and feel of the game.

Hydrocraft is an awesome mod , but like you i am also more into vanilla thing and so i created this mod. I will try and update this periodically :)

I agree that this mod makes it easier for players :P (i die quite a lot playing this Lol < im bad gamer) since it:

adjust weight to real world weight "only if" weight in game is heavier

adjust some trivial items to 0 "when i play i just couldnt bear leaving any ammo or nails behind so i resort to this Lol"

durability of metal tools and weapons are increased "even tho its logical it makes imbalance to blunt as you said"

 

For the sake of the experts and hardcore players i will try and think of a way to make the weight change and the durability change as an optional thing so that i can share this mod to more people.

 

Separating mod component: i am trying to add much more stuff to this mod and so separating this will be a problem for me.

 

Renamed items will not affect the game since its not the item identity but just the display name that is changed :) so no need to be afraid that it will affect future game implementation.

 

Skill books on running sprinting sneak etc: i am also aware of this when previously adding the combat skills and was pondering if i will add these too (reason for not adding: the running and sneaking skill is used so constantly that even without the books its already quite easy to increase, adding books will add completeness to this mod tho and also it will add another thing to do in the game (finding skill books).

 

I like adding the combat skill books before and i place some of them in different places to make players run around to find them Lol (with the exception of book stores which have all of them). i am considering to distribute all magazines in the book store too but am still thinking about this and not yet decided.

As my answer to zomboid123 i will try to quickly find a way to make the weight and durability optional.

Yea boxes takes less time transfer between containers i havent considered that before Lol

edit 29 feb 16: i have modified this mod so that it includes a mod setting that can disable each item value modification like weight, display name, delta, and durability. So if you dont like them you can disable all of them, or you can enable some if you like. There is 1 problem however this might make the mod not multiplier friendly so im also needing to figure out how to make the setting only available to server admins.

v1.3 is now live with the following additions:

1. Fixing update:

5. Optimised lua files: plaster - paint, herbalist - foraging, combat - hunting. fixed        error plaster code from my earlier fix that when ibuildcheat is active plaster menu is     available everywhere.
6. All item property modifications (Display Name, Weight, Durability, Delta) are optional
   and can be disabled using mod setting menu in game (Default: Enabled). To enable the
   Mod Setting you have to press (R Shift + S) then you can right click and see the Mod
   Setting menu enabled. All changes that are made are applied after you exit the game
   and then choosing continue or load game. (This setting is universal and applies to all
   saves).

Edit: because of the request to make the item property change optional (causes quite a headache and tooth gritting in many trials and errors) the addition of useless items functionality are delayed to next release.

so next planned update is the "Fun" update

  1. Special functions like sleep at anytime and also modified graphic are also planned to be optional
  2. Going to add vanillaish sprites for skill books because of the very many books i added it will look rather boring with all looking red standard book.
  3. Adding the last sets of skills (Sprinting, sneaking, nimble and light foot)    (Request by zomboid123)
  4. Add aerosol bomb, pipe bomb and flame trap to engineering books (Request by Faalagorn)
  5. Adding playfull features on toys and misc items (This will be the main focus of the update), hopefully included is playing with pool table (request by CaptKaspar)
  6. Adding 1 more makeshift weapon from foraging (knife type) in the form of wooden stake. (request by ditoseadio)

"after this one will come the "Personal Hygene" which will center on bathroom activities such as showering (request by MrZombifiedGamer) , and toilet stuff which will make all those tools like bathing soaps, tooth brush, hopefully toilet papers and other stuff to be functional."

Completed work:

  1. Since the item properties change was made optional i have also to change all the available items in my txt scripts and also made them changed again in lua files. basically what i mean is that all my new items are set like a vanilla item first then using lua its modified to have the new weight so that when the option is turned off it will revert to a vanilla weight. So like when you read a comic book it will return a used comic book that has the same vanilla weight instead of the weight that this mod aim to produce so a book weighing 0.3 (original weight) when used do not suddenly turn to a 0.2 (new weight) used book :P  this is done in 80% of the items already and will probably be finished tommorow.
  2. Done 8 new vanilla looking books that is already used in some of the skill training books (black = reloading & aiming, dark red = bladed combat book, dark brown = blunt combat books, dark green = trapping books, blue = electrician, brown = first aid, >> will work on the rest of the vanilla books next farming and cooking.

Currently working on

  1. Currently finishing the list above and making the weight adjustment in lua and in script for the rest of the items
  2. Going to add the remaining missing skills of sneak, light foot etc
  3. making graphic change optional too

Generally i avoid introducing new items in game that is not introduced yet by the devs (i also avoid duplicating existing items unless necessary eg if a hunting knife, kitchen knife, and butter knife exist i will not add a cleaver or sushi knife in game) but in this case you make a valid point that the dev introduces makeshift tools and weapons from foraging but left out the bladed short ranged variant which you envision in the shape of a wooden stake :) (i thought sharped stone was a knife variant since it functions on recipes like one but i was mistaken) i think i can add them no problem :P ill slip this in with the next update.

  3. Added the 4 last missing skill books for sprinting, sneaking, light foot and nimble and its distribution.
  4. Added option to turn off display icon modification.
  5. Added option to turn off sleep at anytime function.
  6. Added magazines to the book store.
  7. Added aerosol bomb, pipe bomb and flame bomb to engineering magazine 2 (The bomb magazine :p)
  8. Added improvised weapon: Wooden Stake that is like a wooden spear only this one is smaller and functions like a knife (can 1 hit kill a zombie) but with durability set to match the wooden spear (3x use before breaking) and with lower damage and weight, you get 2 Wooden Stakes per tree branch instead of just 1 wooden spear.

Currently working on

  1. starting to work on the fun update fun items: first lets start with the easy ones i call them the plushies (or huggable toys :P these list includes Spiffo, Doll, and Toy Bear.
  2. will also work on the the simple toys which includes Toy Car and Cat Toy
  3. then it gets a bit interesting with the noisy toy: Rubber Ducky fun to play with but can be deadly if there is a nearby zombie
  4. we also have compound toy where the more you have the component the more fun it gets: Bricktoys
  5. we will also have Breakable toys that can be repaired : Yoyos
  6. Brain toys that you will get better at the more you play it and finish it faster : Cube
  7. ill avoid the video games for now because it should be using a battery of sorts so no video games yet
  8. There is the dice: will just be rolled to produce random numbers (dont actually affect your mood)
  9. finally the card deck which i am still contemplating what to do with since in real life cards are really really fun.
  10. 1 last thing the pool table in game (this is something that i am not yet able to do but will try and make this somehow :p)

This mod is turning out to be pretty great. Keep up the good work.

Do you think you could integrate this mod to enable powering gas stations? IMO there is enough risk in A. moving a generator all the way to a gas station and B. running the generator and the noise drawing in zombies while you get fuel. Not to mention fuel actually DOES run out at gas stations.
