  3. Lol I put into the server description to change the IP to Hostname but ask me if anyone even read that? So I was trying to avoid this issue by having my server in Public Server List showing as a Hostname and not my current IP Address. As of right now that isnt possible. For some reason they haven't written in IP binding for severs (for dedicated servers with multiple IPS) OR the ability to advertise with subdomains rather than raw ips, which well honestly is much safer and smarter. Ya that's sad. Players have to learn how to change their own folders to not lose their progress. Let's hope that they will make this better as soon as possible.

  5. Hello everyone, I have a very important question that it's affecting our players. When we start the PZ Server as Steam, automatically my IP is assigned to the server. That is what we saw in the Public List of servers. So users when joining will save the server as IP and his character local files will be created using this IP Address. But sometimes my IP changes and players have to manually change the local files to reflect the new IP. I already have a hostname assigned to my server but I can't make the Public Server list reflect the hostname instead of IP. Is there a way to do that? Thanks in advance,
  6. hydrocraft mod has cars but there used like back packs i read some were it said if drivable cars come out itll only be for single player due to map generation speed Makes sense. But maybe use cars like a way to teleport to other places. Or make the train usable could make things better too.

  8. First you need to choose a server that it's close to you, to not get disconnected. If you are still getting disconnected try to speak to the server admin cause maybe the PingLimit is too low.
  9. Now that is old but it can be left without a answer. Are you running a Steam Server? If NO, did you set the Project Zomboid to run as -nosteam?

  11. Hello Everyone, Today I just Updated my server that was running version v32.30 to v33.13 Procedure I follow: 1. My v32.30 server files was on c:\pzserver 2. Change the name of the C:\pzserver to C:\pzserver.old (always good to have backups) 3. Backup folder C:\Users\%username%\Zomboid\ 4. Open SteamCMD and run the following commands: login anonymous force_install_dir C:\PZServer app_update 380870 validate 5. All Server files was download successfully. 6. Run StartServer64.bat The server started successfully and without issues but everything was reseted. All MAP and all players. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to fix this?
  12. Well... I think that this is the cool of the game... that you could be killed anytime! If the server is too much populated maybe increasing Zombie strength will help to balance that. Players will avoid wandering through the map searching for other players.

Server: Copied the Hydrocraft from the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\108600\498441420\mods\Hydrocraft" to %username%\Zomboid\Mods Client: Copied the Hydrocraft from the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\108600\498441420\mods\Hydrocraft" to %username%\Zomboid\Mods What's the correct procedure to install them on the Server?
  16. Hei Sir, Congrats! You solved the real issue. A new update was released for Hydrocraft, but server was still running the old version of the Hydrocraft. After Updating the Server Mod Hydrocraft and enabling the "DoLuaChecksum" everyone was able to log again without issues.

  18. Well as it's a Public Steam Server so anyone can login. Just to be safer I'll remove the Hostname from there! Maybe Ports blocked? I know Steam uses 2 ports; 8766 and 8767. but I just enabled the first.

I just stopped the server for a few days and when I tried to run again everyone was having this error. I did found the option in Server files (servertest.ini): DoLuaChecksum=true What's the impact of disabling that option? Can I expect any malfunction? When I disabled this I didn't got any more errors to login. I'll keep testing and checking server logs.
  21. So, every other friends from different regions are having the same problem. Did you really log into the game and created the Character? Which username did you use EnigmaGrey?
  22. Really?! What do I need to do to fix that? Do you know any explanation to work using a ADMIN account and don't work by creating a new user?
  23. No Sir. Both are running 32.30. If I delete all files under Zomboid folder it return to work properly but I lost everything what players build.
  24. I'm reaaaalllyy tired of this issue. There's not information at all and can only be solved by deleting all files on server (C:\Users\myusername\Zomboid) and reseting the map. Is there any solution or more information about this issue at all? Troubleshooting Done: - Deleting/Changing user files C:\Users\myusername\Zomboid (FAIL) - Creating new user to log into the server (FAIL) - User that was previously added as ADMIN can login successfully - Deleted the game and all files related to Zomboid into Client computer (FAIL) So, if there's something wrong with the Server Files why can't Admin be able to login? The Server is up if anyone want to test. The "IP" is ******. Obs.: It was working before. I had the server stopped for one week and after starting I'm receiving this error.
