    Description                                                      
    This is a freaking hyge hotel named Poseidon. Poseidon was a shelter for big group of survivors for a few years, All this time survivors doing upgrades for this hotel. Laboratory on the upper floors and walls surrounding the hotel, all this survivors made their own hands.
    Currently, it has several defects, but they will be fix in the near future.
    (I'm not good in english language)

    Hey Zomboid map modders!
     
    I have been busy last few weeks and during any downtime I've had I've entertained myself with some casual mapping.
     
    Between one edit here and there and a few long sessions into the early hours of the morning, unable to steal myself away from the TiledZ, the result is coming together quite nicely. 
     
    Far from finished and probably loads of errors but here follow some screen grabs of the area with a few more focusing on individual Lots, Buildings and Rooms.
     

     
    Not all buildings' interiors are furnished, but there is a lot of it done. As you can see, there is a power plant, the port itself and a pier with a (albeit square) lighthouse.There's also a dump/scrap yard, fire-station/house, multi-storey car-park, a BargainClothes distribution/factory and a train-yard with transport trains!
     

     
    The Main port has cranes, a Customs area, warehousing and containers with which I mapped a simple maze with tight corners etc.The pier to the south of the main port area needs a lot of work, eventually it will contain a shopping/mall area with a metro terminus and station as well as a passenger terminal for cruise ships. Here's the metro area so far...
     

     
    The biggie is obviously the mahussive tanker ship.
     

     
    It is huge and seems un-finishable at times. The entire ship and all it's decks (floors) are accessible. There are the cargo areas below deck with more containers and general storage (crates etc) and of course, engineering:
     

     
    Then we have the trains. An engine and about 6 or 7 different types of trucks with assorted cargo containers.
     

     
    Just to add today's effort, a multi-storey car-park. All it needs is some vehicles (soon please!)
     

     
    If anyone wants more screen grabs of other buildings (or closer, more detailed images of one's posted in this OP) then let me know, or indeed info on any aspect of how they were done, happy to oblige.
     
    Comments, critique, feedback and any pointers are also very welcome.
     
    Hope everyone likes. Oh! And if anyone knows how to make a good tile/s for a liquified gas truck (those pressurized round containers that sit on the back of those trailers on wheels that deliver gas/petrol to gas/petrol-stations or those big round gas deposit buildings usually found nearby ports and docks then get in touch. I have tried, but my art skills are not so good and doing circular or curved objects in orthographic view I find difficult.

    Yea, I updated the map to 2.0 now; increasing the size from a 5x5 map to a whopping 22x16 map.
     
    With this latest update (2.0), you can now explore North of New Denver to the Slocan Lake Golf Course, South to the Farmlands, and the world East of New Denver, with houses, farms, and more.
    More bug fixes have been addressed, so the game should play more smoothly now.
    Update 2.0 does NOT have foragable land outside of the original map size (I'm only one person!!! but I will update this ASAP)
    Note the 2.0 Update will require you to start a new game as the exact location of New Denver has increased the distance to Muldraugh
     
     
     
     
      Behold! For 11 months I secretly worked on map accurately depicting my hometown.  In this 22x16 cell map, each building is unique and comparable to the real-life New Denver, down to (almost) every house, shed, etc.  I`d add the amount of buildings I created but I lost count long ago.
     
    During the creation of the map, a horrible canoe accident claimed 4 of my friends; 
    Skye Donnet,
    Jule Wiltshire-Padfield,
    Hayden Kyle,
    and Lily Harmer-Taylor,
    so this map is dedicated to their memory.
     
    (2.0) - Added "The Back Forty" update, have fun... (1.75) - Added Friday Market! This consists of a bunch stands set up by locals found:

    (1.7) - Over 75 bugfixes from unaccessable stairs, and blocked rooms, to
    others, and some additional objects added.   (1.6) - Updated map compatability to build 32, bugfixes, etc.   (1.5) - Roads have been detailed with potholes, cracks and grime, added street signs and street lights, and some more changes    (1.4) - Added object.lua for trapping and foraging; it's mostly finished and will get updated soon, and some more bug fixes   (v1.31) - Multiple bug fixes, thanks to SiderisAnon for the good word.   (v1.3) - Removed the unsightly grass patches and updated the forest grass, multiple bug fixes, connected the road to Muldraugh   (V1.2) - Fixed up mentioned bugs and a few I found. A handful of graphical updates, road lines, missing blends, etc.   (V1.11) - Fixed the invisible wall problem at the museum that Marinus had pointed out, thanks bro!   (V1.1) - Added spawn points to New Denver, now it'll be like you actually lived there  
    (v1.06) - Fixed the house Spartanz920 mentioned, no one likes a house
    with bugs in it  
    (v1.05) - Now with a working Zombie Spawn Map; Now you can enjoy New Denver in fear!
     
    (v1.0) - At the moment, the map is ready and playable.  There are no spawn points yet, and certain details (mostly road accents) have not been added yet.  There has been some bug testing, but bugs still exist.

    You can see that I put shadows on both sides of the bridge which makes it look like the bridge is elevated above the river.
     
    And for the 2nd picture, I recommend shading the roofs like this, otherwise they'll look a bit bland:

    Some of the football goals are broken, so you should consider fixing those. Camping one shouldn't really be a building, you should do the camping site via TileZed.

    Just check the room definition in the armory. It should be gunstore or gunstorestorage if you want it to spawn guns.

    The graveyard doesn't fit that location at all. It should be in a forest, behind a church or some area in which it would fit.

    Not trying to be an ass or anything, but that's what I originally wanted to do. Big city, metro tracks etc. then in the end I made a small city with somewhat big buildings because it got tedious. Unless you have a hell of a willpower and time/patience, your project wont ever be made.
