    So sheets have been the staple for minimal cover in a house for a long time. With the inclusion of working curtains, it would be nice to see the ability to put curtains on doors (I love my pretty pristine bases). I suggest like with windows, you should be able to use the "place" option to curtain a door.
     
    Also I don't know how many other people have noticed this, but there's shutters on many windows in the game with zero function. How cool would it be to add a function to them "close shutters" (from the outside, or from the inside with window open) to add a few more hp to those brittle windows?

    Hello makers of a great great game!!

    I had a very funny end-game lately and wanted to share it with the devs so maybe it could be "properly implemented" (quotation marks definitely intended).

    I turned into a zombie while driving at a 100 MPH to get to a medical building only to be popped out of the car and start to wonder around (as usual hehe).

    Would it be something to add to your roadmap to make the player turn inside the car... it eventually stops (based on speed of course) and then he gets out (smashing the window?)?

    I know the way burying corpses is a bit different than the inventory system, but it'd be nice to just be able to throw the items in the hole. I just don't like trash lying around!
     
    To balance this the grave could be dug as normal, corpses added and a cap of 50 (weight?) units added to the hole in the form of items. That way no one's digging holes everywhere to store their crap.
     
    Also... I often fall off of buildings and break my legs, but I've never once fallen in a grave... It's big enough for 6(?) bodies, falling in that thing should at least leave a bruise.

    So I'm not sure if anyone's suggested this yet, I haven't seen it, but it'd be neat to be able to pick your start age when you start the game. Of course it'd exclude children, so 18+.
     
    Age could effect a great deal of things, running speed, learning speed, resistance to disease, even durability of skin against attack.
     
    Also, currently, the way the game works is that you scale up to an awesome threshold. In reality your skill and health often decline with age. I think this would be a nice balance for those who have been living for years.

    Dog Food Its Wet its Gross I would not recommend eating it if you had the choice
    But when the apocalypse Hits Its one of the few balanced meals
     
    Alright i'll get to the point
     
    Dog food in game gives 50 unhappiness and that makes sense 
    but why cant it be added to meals 
     
    i'm sure if you made a stir fry with  some dog food, canned, veggies and assorted spices 
    it might just be bearable, well adding much needed fats and protein to your meal
     
    So i just think you should be able to add it to meals
    its not a big change but it would be nice

    This isn't obvious though. It's stereotyping. And it does change game play drastically. There are already fast/slow learner perks that make a world of difference in the game. Stout and feeble also do the same. I'm not opposed to aesthetic additions, but to tie aesthetics into game play via stereotyping may step the game back and draw a cruder audience.
     
    That being said using aesthetic changes with traits that are already in the game would be fun for RP.

    I'm just gonna go through these w/o the quotes cuz I keep creating new lines with it (I'm out of practice!)
     
    1. Height: This would be kinda neat. Honestly though if there's debuffs to either side, I would go for mid height making this trait kinda pointless. Would it give extra points to spend on tall/short? Would they be the same? What would be considered a high shelf? There's many shelves with different tiers, how would those be counted?
     
    2. Age: This seems to draw on old worn out negative stereotypes. You're implying 18 year olds learn faster than 60 year olds. I can tell you from experience it took years for me to learn how to do things (this is not a joke, though it does sound funny). 18 year old me was much slower at learning than 30 year old me. 30 year old me has the tools needed to learn quickly and efficiently. Not only that but you don't see many 18 year olds running around with Ph.D.s in biology. On the physical side, I have to say while I may look older than 18 year old me, I still run just as fast (slow) and still lift as much weight. I can't say what this'll be like in 30 years but I think age is too variable and subjective of a "trait" to added. We have "slow learner" and "feeble" traits already if one wants to RP as an old slow learning feeble person. Aesthetically I would love to see these options though.
     
    3. Sex: Almost everything in this section would be a horrible addition to the game. Yes, men tend to be stronger then women on average. Also women have a higher pain tolerance and do tend to live longer. However... Pain doesn't do much at all in this game, no one lives long AT ALL EVER, so why would anyone pick a female character if men have an actual buff to strength? I think this is gender locking characters and I do detest when games gender lock roles.
     
    4. Face: This would be kinda neat to see. I don't want to spend an hour customizing my character though.
     
    5(?). Nationality: Um. This game is set in 90's Kentucky. This group of people is more or less homogeneous. I'm not saying that it wouldn't be cool to see, but I think this would be great as a mod at best.

    Favourited items shouldn't be dismantled either. For example, I had a digital watch as a favourite, but had 3  others in my inventory so I could dismantle them for parts. I hit dismantle all and it did all 4 so I was left with no watch. Not a game-killer or anything, just a mild inconvenience.
     
    It has been a while since I've played so if this has been changed in the meantime, I apologise. If not, I suspect this could be looked at once we have a clothing menu and we can actually wear watches.

    Not sure if this is intentional but I started a new game on the current build and it started to storm. Then it got pitch black at 13:00. I've been in some crazy storms (hurricanes included) but I've never seen any storm block out the sunlight completely, or even to the point where one needs a flashlight. (Screenshot shows the next day at 9am when I got lost in the blackness of rain)

    One of the reasons I've been so stuck on PZ for so long is that it doesn't have a lot of the high speed movements that many other games do which make me motion sick. Though I'm loving the new weather system when it's raining outside the movement on the darker parts of the screen is so incredibly jarring that it makes me nauseous. While I'm outside the motion of the rain doesn't bother me in the least, probably because it has background.
    I think that atmospherically it's beautiful, but I think it'd be nice to have an option to turn off the weather effects while inside.

    'If' it was rare, I probably wouldn't mind too awful much, but it happens EVERY time it rains for me. In the above screenshot, that was the second day of rain where I couldn't do anything really cuz I couldn't see. I even started a new game to see if something was just funny with that one, and 3 days in, it rained and I couldn't see anything.
     
    On a side note, I have my lighting on high updates at 30.

    Right now we have the pin symbol which when clicked will pin the window open. Perhaps have a lock icon to show that the window is locked or unlocked?
