ditoseadio
What do you think about to copy "7 Days to Die" system, that when night arrives time speeds up and pass faster? I think this is a great method by moment until you can skip the nights
nasKo
But I use nights to assassinate and infiltrate. Narnobie111, Dtrahan12, Sieben and 3 others
GerbilSchooler
I'd be all for this being a server hosts option to enable (It should be off by default, IMO, however)
syfy
night time is for reading skills books, sawing logs, cooking food, harassing other players in the server........................... really dont want to see it get adjusted, or if it does then make it optional. Johnny
System that we already have is working lets just leave it there for a while...Yeah, that's what 99% of players do while reading books.... PhantomWarlock
Brybry
I actually saw that build 29 servers have a nightlengthmodifier setting. I haven't pulled build 29 to test it yet though. EnigmaGrey
EnigmaGrey
You can access GameTime through Lua. The only trick is figuring out how to sync it between clients. In this way, it's quite possible to enable sleeping in multiplayer and potentially accelerated time, if you really wanted to. ValueOfGravity
What about a poll? Depending on yes or no by mayority (Majority? wtf?) the night is either skipped or endured. It would be nice.

That'd be very interesting to try, particularly if sleep deprevation fatigue can also be simulated or turned on! The main reason why I've been holding off from getting my spouse to play PZ with me has been the lack of sleeping mechanic in multiplayer. We'd play with just the two of us, so Minecraft-esque sleeping (= time's modified when all players are in bed at night) would be excellent. But with no fatigue, there's no real point to, even if you can accelerate through the night. What about a poll? It could still be an option dependant on server settings tho.
