  1. Yeah, I've seen this suggested many times. But I've never seen a twenty-something year old that had balding, gray hair. At the very least, they could set it to an age that accommodates more player appearances, something like mid 40's.
  2. Wow, this is a really cool mod! This is how the clock should look if you don't have anything that tells time in your inventory. Definitely gonna check this out. EDIT: I reread what you said, and yeah, I agree. I don't think the "average joe" we play as has an accurate clock in his head.
  3. By insta-kill I think he means insta-infected. Is that what you mean OP? Oh I guess I just misinterpreted that. Thanks amigo.
  4. I didn't even know getting insta-killed by a zombie was possible, let alone a common occurrence. I feel left out, in a good way. But on to the subject, armor has been suggested multiple times before, and I would expect at least some form of protection from clothing coming in the future. I'm not positive of course, because I'm pretty sure it's a maybe on the list.
  5. I've suggested this as well too. Don't think I got a definitive answer though. I am more used to the 12hr format of time, even though I've spent countless hours playing with the 24hr. It doesn't seem like that hard of a thing to implement compared to other features. +1 (Maybe later on we will only be able to tell time if we have a working watch, phone, or similar object? I'm thinking along the lines of Cataclysm: DDA. If you don't have one then it'll be a blank space or maybe a rough estimate of the current time. I dunno, just trying to add to the conversation, lol. )
  6. Very interesting... I could see these working with NPC's and other players as well.
  7. I actually found it on the YouTube scene about two or three years ago (Maybe more than that? ). I was kind of a ghost on the forums for a while, and even remember the old forums a little bit. I didn't get to see much of 'em though. I became a member right after I bought the game. I actually used to be strictly a console gamer. Specifically, an Xbox guy. Kind of a fanboy too, though that situation has changed dramatically. In all honesty, the ENTIRE reason I originally bought a PC was to play Project Zomboid. I spent quite a deal of money to play this game... I think I spent around $500. But it was worth it. Every cent that made up those $500 were well spent, because I ended up becoming a member of the greatest community I have ever seen, I've also helped support, along with this glorious community, one of the best Indie Developers of all time. And I've had the chance to play a game that will have/has everything I have ever wanted in a video game. There is a void in my soul that could only be filled by PZ, the PZ community, and its developers. And I mean every word of this. That about sums it up. I think that defines how I feel about all of this.
  8. We can all dream, can't we? We are nothing if not for dreaming of what cannot easily be achieved... Psshh, how stupid does that sound?
  9. Um, what is the Pegi rating? I had no idea this game was rated. (I may just not be very observant lol)
  10. I agree with Deliberto when it comes to making them; however, I've seen a few buildings that already have these installed. Heck, I have one installed above my garage entrance. Anyways, what I'm getting at is that maybe we could find houses with these already installed, take them down, and install them elsewhere. I actually have no idea how hard they are to build from scratch, but I do know they are fairly easy to assemble and dissemble. They could be portable. Realistically though, it would be fairly easy to find this at the in-game warehouses, garages, businesses, and logging mills. I used to rent a storage unit that had one of these installed on each "unit block", they were used to deter thieves, vandals, animals, and just about anything else with something to hide. (Coincidentally, the storage unit I mentioned was located in Kentucky. )
  11. Well, in this weeks Mondoid there was a video of a panicked survivor stumbling around... See? :> http://projectzomboid.com/blog/2015/05/blue-mondoid/
  12. Yeah, I just haven't posted in a while and I wanted to use a GIF, so, here we are.
  13. Whew, this is getting heated! Anyways, I'd have to say that an uncontrollable death such as old age, while it is a cool idea, doesn't belong in the vanilla game. But we should be able to set our age at the very least, even if it doesn't change. I've never seen a 27 year old man have white hair and a thick beard, just saying.
