- Veterinarian/ Animal Hospital
- Hospital
- More fire stations.
- Taxi depot
- Jail house
- Major brand Car dealerships such as Chevalier,  Franklin, Dash ect
- Deli

Never thought about an auto parts store or a liquor store, they would be awesome
 
Army surplus stores could also be a cool addition! In my opinion I think there should be more gun stores too, since it is the US + guns aren't OP in this game so it's not like having more ammo or gun spawns would be disadvantageous to the gameplay

It seems reasonable to think that early 1993 KY would have the following businesses/locations in addition to those I have already seen in Vanilla:
 
-Auto Parts Store/section of the hardware store
-Plumbing Supply Store/section of the hardware store
-Thrift Shop
-Pawn Shop
-Plant Nursery/Gardening Supply
-Cattle Ranch
-Liquor Store
-Public Library
-Towing Service and Tow Trucks
 
Please keep in mind that I haven't explored everything and might be suggesting things that are already included.  Also, I'm sure there are others that would also make sense.

     I've only been playing for about a week, but I have logged over 100 hours of game play thanks to our Shelter In Place order.  During that time I have noticed that there are a few naming conventions that are mixed and make sorting items a bit annoying.  I understand these are small changes, but making them would add polish:
 
-Have all books titled either Beginner's Mechanics, Intermediate's Mechanics (etc.) or Mechanics for Intermediates, Mechanics for Advanced (etc.)
-Have seed packets named "Seed Packet (Strawberries)" "Seed Packet (Carrots)", etc. for sorting purposes.
-Change "Dirty Rag"/"Ripped Sheet" to "Ripped Sheet (Dirty)"/"Ripped Sheet"  or  OR "Rag (Dirty)"/"Rag"
-Change "Dirty Bandage" to "Bandage (Dirty)"
-Change "Sanitized Bandage" to "Bandage (Sanitized)"
-Sugar, rice, powdered milk and some other foods are categorized as "Items" instead of "Food"
-When foraging, the window that pops up currently says "Scavenge". Change that to "Forage"
-Change the map names to the format: "Map of Rosewood" instead of "Rosewood Map"
 
     I'm sure there are more little continuity issues, but those are the few that strike me most often.

Sorry if I am annoying and for having created this thread in the wrong section, moderators excuse me.
I would like to know what will be the final finish of the objects on the floor? Some are seen as is in the inventory and others are seen as a 3D model as can be seen in the image.

It would be ideal for each model to have its icon for inventory, a different model for the one equipped in the hand and a separate one for when it is on the ground (PLACED)
 

Is it possible to add cigarette smoke to the animation? This would add atmospheric ...

I'd go a step further and add the alarm UI to to the on-screen clock display as well.

Let us snooze the watch alarm by just clicking on the display, in the top right corner of the screen, instead of having to select the watch from the inventory, right click on it and select "turn off alarm" 
 
after all, it's a wrist watch, it's right there on my wrist, why should i open my inventory to snooze the alarm? 
 
edit* : and let it be possible to snooze off the alarm while moving(walking) . my character can eat a whole meal of stir-fry bird's meat and mushrooms from a pan while walking, but cannot snooze the alarm of a wrist-watch? 🤨

Add maps as kindling to start a fire.

There's already instruments in Zomboid that haven't got much use other than as a weapon or a collectible, but wouldn't it be cool to have them be playable?
 
Examples of their application could be:
A way to stave off unhappiness or insanity. Social use in multiplayer for fun. Being the Post Apocalyptic Pied-Piper of Muldraugh.  
I think the two ways of implementing this would be a form where you have access to a keyboard and can play the keys in sequence (not very fun) and through the ABC system (very fun), similar to how it was done in Lord of the Rings Online. The way this works is that the internet has websites that are these huge reservoirs of .abc file notated musical compositions (plus you can make your own) and you would have some designated folder, maybe in Zomboid's case it could be somewhere like This PC>Local Disk (C:)>Users>Player>Zomboid>music and then you paste the .abc file there. Then when you open the game, you would right click on your guitar to play and it would open a list that shows all the compositions you have in that folder, and you click on one and it will play, as your character acts out the complementary strumming animation. 
 
As a part of the game itself, there would be a perk requirement of guitar player, or an occupation like music teacher to be able to a variety of instruments. I think it would be an interesting way of showing how even a character whose traits wouldn't seem to ordinarily be sought after in an apocalypse, an entertainer, can still be a valued member of a group and contribute as such.

During those days you had video rental stores. Perhaps video tapes can be collected in such stores? While VCRs have to be acquired at a video store and can rarely be found with a TV.
 
Finally: What about the Video game consoles? You find cute handheld consoles, giving functionality to those would be nice!

I can no longer listen to standard music. Had to completely disable this.
I have a folder with ambient and soundtrack from other games (for example Resident Evil),
it would be great if I had the opportunity to add it to the game. I hope for feedback and I apologize for my English.

Seriously though -  that's a feature I've been looking forward to for a while! Now TVs will no longer be useless hulks after the first week or so.

Self Explanatory. In farming you can get seeds that are coffee and sugar. You need a moter and pastel to break down the Sugar grown crop into sugar. The you need a frying pan to roast the coffee beans and then maybe put them in a coffee machine or in a bag. Who knows how he makes the cuppa. These are to make getting cuppa easier since it gives some great benefits the Cuppa.
 
There might be like growth lights and inside pots if the climate does not suit these seeds though!

Correct me if I'm wrong (and - having very little real world experience with baseball bats - I very well could be) but aren't aluminum baseball bats hollow - and thus of lighter weight than wooden bats? Wouldn't said weight difference cause them to be slightly less damaging than a wooden bat?

1066: Clearing grass should result in the chance to find Plant Fiber for crafting Twine based on the Player's Foraging skill.
At the moment clearing grass is simply for aesthetics at best and a nuisance at worst, some realistic reward would be a nice addition.
