    1. There should be a "Kentucky Road Directory" mega-map item with all the buildings, farms, sheds, roads, and dirt roads shown on it from all the named cities and countrysides that have no names.
    2. There should be a sound recorded for zombies jumping through windows and small fences. It's completely silent now.

Some % of zombie population should start as active (as opposed to dormant) crawlers.
They're a bit underused and only created with player interaction and damage dealt.

I think as of right now, smell is still not implemented and is a broken mechanic.

    1. Ability to have a bind option for "go to" wherever the cursor is placed od the screen. It gets tiresome to right-cliok (which doesn't work 75% of the time in this game in wilderness) and then clicking "go to").
Simply placing a cursor and pushing a specified button would be much better and user friendly. Using "go to" is just a faster option for walking when speeding up time.

    2. Now that barricading and cooking (never tried this one) is smart enough to take some of your stuff from backpacks and surroundings, can we have the same for disassembling furniture and other things?
It's quite silly that I have i.e. a saw on me and a hammer in my bag and my character just stands there like an idiot next to a bed I want to disassemble, not knowing what to do. No, I need to show him the hammer and put it in his main inventory.

    3. ALL of the speeding up time options should end and return to normal time flow at the very moment current action gets finished (i.e. reading a book, chopping down a tree etc).

Good evening, I would like to publicly announce our up-coming serious roleplay server.
Our goal at PZRP is to provide a unique, serious roleplay experience for everyone involved on the server. A custom-built storyline that is solely shaped by the characters and members of the community.

Please join our discord for more information @ https://discord.gg/eGPUtWM

In addition, I am also looking for some people to help me manage the roleplay. If you would be willing to assist in any way your help would be greatly appreciated! I am very excited about this, and as a veteran roleplayer myself, I look forward to seeing what kind of story we can make together.

DramaSetter reacted to Lightning Flash in Using zombie guts to disguise ourselves.
I looked just in case this was already suggested and couldn't find any thread on it, so I figured I would make this suggestion here.

It would be really useful if we could use zombie guts to disguise ourselves among the dead and maneuver our way through crowds without being spotted.

Rubbing the guts will take at least ten seconds of real time. Standing still, it will wear off after roughly 6 in game hours. Walking, it will wear off in maybe 3. When it rains, it will wear off in a matter of thirty or so real-time seconds. Better hope you're not in a horde by then.

Now I know people are going to say that it would make the game relatively easy because people would do it all the time. Of course, there will be repercussions or heavy risks. For example, if you have an open wound or scratch at the time you rub the guts on your body, you will instantly contract the disease.

If you make a sound, you will gradually increase the risk of blowing your cover. If you were to have a cold, sneezing would immediately give away your location.

If you have no wounds and rub the guts on you, every time you do so, you will gradually increase the risk of contracting the infection by 2% the first time, then 4% the second time, and it will gradually increase by 2. So yes, you could potentially contract the virus by rubbing that corpse's guts on you, but there's a horde banging on the door outside and is about to come in any second. Is it worth it?

Of course, this in its own is probably not a great description for it.  In this scene of The Walking Dead, Rick and Glenn shamble through the streets of Atlanta covered in zombie guts, while surrounded by a horde. In the same scene, the smell washes off due to the rain and the zombies notice they aren't dead, and begin to give chase.

While useful, it could be dangerous because you never know when they will suddenly just realize you're living.

That's really interesting. In practice, I've never gained a fatigue moodle during foraging. I consistently gain a tiredness moodle after (I believe) 2 bars of foraging. Please give it a try yourself, I don't believe I'm the only one experiencing this!

Edit: 4 runs of foraging makes my character tired, even after a long sleep.

I know it's been said before, but foraging. Please. Make it cause fatigue, not tiredness.
If all other forms of exertion cause fatigue (running, fighting, tree chopping) there is no reason for foraging to be different.

    Thank you!

As far as I know, Zed track you by smell, sound and sight. So, if you were hiding in the back seat of a closed car (all windows up and in at least 60% condition), and you kept quiet, I don't see why Zeds should be able to spot you. Same applies to a dumpster, as the trash smell would certainly mask yours (although Unhappiness should be mandatory for long times there, and maybe infection chance on your wounds).

    This could work, IMHO.

There's nothing more tense than hiding in a vehicle or under a vehicle while a herd of potentially a thousand zombies shambles on by, and you're just hoping they don't see you and start crawling under to get you.

Depending on the type of vehicle, you'll be able to crawl underneath it. This will more or less conceal you, as long as you're completely still and also not in an open area. This is extremely helpful if your car happens to be right next to a pileup, as there is less chance of you being spotted.

If you hide in your car, you will appear in the backseat of the vehicle or may lay down between both front seats. You will be able to see outside, but doing so may risk you getting spotted. In the case of a large passing herd, this is dangerous, and so you'd be better off relying on the sound of them passing by, and hope the sounds go quiet soon.

Here is a perfect example, from The Walking Dead's season 2 premiere, in which a walker herd shambles along the highway and the main characters are forced to hide under vehicles.

I basically read all the Crossed comics and, we are absolutely fucked without survivor npcs or a big bunker, and those are usually compromised somehow. Also in Crossed +100 a group of Crossed became smarter and was able to restrain from their barbaric impulses, turning them into an army that literally demands human sacrifices or destruction. We are mega fucked if we have the supercrossed like Smokey, we'd be dead in moments because they can sprint and do everything you can, and most people can only start out with a frying pan as a weapon.

Really good idea, not so if you're a casual gamer.

You can now give a Survivor Armor from the "Armor Mod" . Have the armor in your inventory unequipped and then call and right click on a survivor for option to give armors. You can see the armors they have equipped in the survivor info window.

If wife AND Ready for battle mode is enabled. Wife will also get the guns & or armor that your player gets in this mode.

Fixed problem with survivors not cutting wood unless close to trees

Main menu options now have a scroll bar for those with screens to small to see all options

    update:
options compacted to fit on smaller screens.
survivors who have guns, but not equipped, will draw their guns if they spot hostiles or raiders coming, and go back to using mele when the fighting ends
Hilltop has been converted to a real live group, like players group. workers there take on various tasks by themselves.
Also survivor spawn rate options are now more sensitive, though "Normal" has not changed

DramaSetter reacted to Lightning Flash in More fire stations + Police station
This was a discussion on the Discord, and it came to the realization of a few that there's literally only one fire department in the entire map, in Rosewood. Are there plans to add fire stations to the other towns, too?

Also, is seems that March Ridge is lacking a police station, as well.
