I know this is a bit off but I suggest when NPc's release we should be able to name our factions. It gets listed in a list somewhere in the game and when NPC's speak of it they'll pull it from this memory bank and say it. Simple enough I think. NPC's will also be able to name factions from a predetermined list of faction names available. Tell me what y'all think!

No, a microwave can definitely burn food.

Don't ask me how I know, please.

Should have been able to survive it, though. If not, yes, that is a bit extreme.

Enigma is not saying no one can discuss it, and he's under no obligation to discuss it himself if he doesn't want to. He's only referring to generators powering gas stations, and the devs have commented and said that it was intended for gameplay reasons as well. I don't know what else you expect us to say.

If people want to discuss siphoning or hand pumps, they're more than welcome to but we just ask that feedback remain positive, keeping in mind that this is a still-to-be-balanced build and that people respect others' opinions rather than write them off. Hope this clarifies things.

Edit: And besides, if I recall correctly, Enigma was actually the one who originally brought up siphoning? So I'm not sure what you mean by saying he's completely ignored it.

Or...you could be patient, and post your thoughts/opinions/criticisms in a slightly more positive way... This feature has only recently been added, to the IWBUMS branch, (which is for testing), so give it a chance to be balanced etc...

I'd suggest if you don't like some of the new features as they stand, or find it frustrating that new features added to this branch aren't completely working and/or balanced yet, that you might be best to stick to the Public release branch of PZ?

Idiots. Seriously, just idiots. Anyone who buys this game is either foolish or stupidly rich. 10 bucks or not it's not worth it. I wouldn't dish out 5 bucks for it.

I ate some burnt food from a microwave, then like 1 game hour later got sick...ok this much I understand.  Then like 1 more game hour later I notice Im injured. So I eat a large amount of food and go to bed to combat the sickness and ... I just died in my sleep...       I had not a single other scratch or any kind of injury. Char was like total of 4 days old.

My suggestion is that, this is ridiculous and should be fixed.

Yeah a map is planned i think.

Wonder how is going to work though, i would like to imagine a DayZ approach of you trying to figure out where the flying fuck are you located at and from there move on with a compass.

Or maybe we just get the easy approach and it points an arrow of where we are located at.

Pretty sure they said at one point they wanted a map in-game that you'd mostly find at gas stations so, not confirmed but most of my replies to suggestions are saying it's planned I've noticed.

I admit, the wait on NPC's is the one thing that has me not playing this as often, since I tend to play single player, I just..It felt like it was getting stale, though that being said I have not played in a good few builds, (*last played may 31st of 2015 according to steam*) And I just...I keep waiting, and it will be wonderful when they are added and I feel I can play this again, I just got bored trying to do it all on my own....and MUltiplayer I don't really know anyone who owns this game and wants to play it often because well, they are waiting on NPC's too XD

The Dead Linger, to me, is "the worst development team". They charged so much money to something as broken as TDL, then gave up the game, if I had bought that, I would be extremely upset. Plus, their updates were random and had no "Mondoid" type deal. Did anyone get money back from that game?

I spent a fiver on PZ in 2011 and that's far less than its current worth right now. I know they'll come out sometime, and we'll be (or I'll be) laughing in those people's faces of how quick they were to judge a dev team that hasn't given up over, now 5 years. Even though I'd say it's four years considering the engine update all through 2012 and released on 2013, maybe three years? Personally if I was making the game, I'd genuinely have given up by now because I'd be worn out.

Don't see any point in removing the demolishing of stairs if you're gonna make sheet ropes unstable. That being said I wouldn't mind seeing characters slipping from the sheet ropes and twisting their ankles once in a while. Could be fun.

Its one of those little used mods that adds alot to the game imo.  I was pretty happy to see him post a few things he's going to add to it hopefully soonish. Like a wind up watch or regular one that uses batteries and such.

Wow, this is a really cool mod!

This is how the clock should look if you don't have anything that tells time in your inventory. Definitely gonna check this out.

EDIT: I reread what you said, and yeah, I agree. I don't think the "average joe" we play as has an accurate clock in his head.

    Horizon Clock Mod
    version 0.6 for Build 41

Concept, Textures, Code & Overhaul: Thuztor
    oldCode: TurboTuTone

    Translations:
    English & German: Thuztor
    Russian: Nebula

Surprise! I'm back and not dead yet! Not yet!
I hope I can revive even more in the future.

Update to Version 0.6 for Build 41 and probably lower:

    - complete overhaul ( see Features )

    Features of this version:

    - You don't have found a watch, yet?
! Orient yourself at the level of the sun or the position of the stars!

    - You have a watch, but you can't see the clock?
! Hold Right CTRL,  if you move or whatever with the keyboard!
! Otherwise just press Right CTRL!

    - You can't see the sun or the stars, if you are inside a building or it rains?
! That's correct. It has to be like this!

    - You want a digital watch, but without the luxery temperature display?
! You can find black cheap digital watches on corpses and at some other places!

    - Language Support: english, german, russian (Nebula)

    Planned for the next version:

    - texture overlay, if you are sitting in cars
    - The correct beginning and end of sunrise and sunset depending on the season.
    - the strength of rain, clouds, fog, snow and wind is visible in the horizon clock
    - extra ui for the wind direction

    Future plans:
    - an analog watch
    - button cell battery for watches (keep a very long time, but eventually the clock will stop working)
    - windup watches that needs no battery, but needs to be wind up again and again.
(Bad luck if one forgets it sometimes. Then you have to just guess what time it is)

While it doesnt change it from 12 to 24 or vice versa, what it does it changes the clock to a sun/moon. Works in 32.17 and its a great mod imo. Once you use it for awhile, you kindof know what time it is, and if you sleep how long before night/day end up.  Totaly helps with the brain freeze with trying to convert time for us simple americans

The only down side is it doesnt tell you what the date it.  But you can kindof figure out what aproximately the month is via, how fast you start to get warm with wearing warm clothes, without em. If it starts snowing you know its a winter month for sure

Its actually something i wishe was part of the default game, since it makes sence that without power, you really dont know what time it is. Even watches batteries die after awhile.

But i also do agree there should be a option atleast to toggle between 24h and 12h time.

I've suggested this as well too. Don't think I got a definitive answer though.
I am more used to the 12hr format of time, even though I've spent countless hours playing with the 24hr. It doesn't seem like that hard of a thing to implement compared to other features.

    +1

(Maybe later on we will only be able to tell time if we have a working watch, phone, or similar object? I'm thinking along the lines of Cataclysm: DDA. If you don't have one then it'll be a blank space or maybe a rough estimate of the current time. I dunno, just trying to add to the conversation, lol.  )

I'm certain I suggested this before but it was years ago and on a separate forum I believe (the old one) so I figured it's time to bring it up again. I want this as an American having to read a 24 hour clock hurts my head .xD That was some what of a joke. Although, I do find it a bit challenging when I'm having to do it in panic situations and it takes me a minute to convert times.

I hope in the future for clocks to be removed entirely and different methods implemented. But for now it would be nice if 12 hour clocks were optional for convenience purposes.
