Strang got a reaction from raymond in Religious books
Kentucky is in the "Bible Belt" of America, as many of the population practices Christianity. So why not add a Religious trait and books. If a person had the religious trait and reads a religious book, they get less depressed and gain a small boost in the happy trait. But as a negitive, your character will refrain from drinking, eating certian types of meat, ect. And if you do not read a religious book, he will slowly get depressed and no longer religious. But if you have a non religious character and he reads a religious book, he can eventually become religious

Strang got a reaction from Jatta Pake in Sunburn and Frostbite
Being outside too long in extreme temparures and be very harmful, and being too hot or too cold should result in some health problems. Being outside for too long should result in a sunburn that gets worse the longer you are exposed, same with frostbite in the cold. Also a possibility of adding sunscreen and very warm clothing to fight these maladies

Strang got a reaction from CaptKaspar in Stench from zombies
How about having a stench from zombies that your character can pick up on and comment on it. This would alert players to suprise zombies. Maybe also have it so your character could vomit the first few times he smells the stench, and your character slowly gains tolerance to the smell, so he won't vomit. Rotten flesh is very noticeable, and it should be in the game

Strang got a reaction from Narnobie111 in Hidden storage areas
How about being able to hide certain items in other items, such as hiding a pistol and ammo inside a pillow or being able to hide nails, screwdrivers and bullets inside empty bleach containers? This would be more of a multiplayer and npc thing, but late game nails and bullets and small tools can be very valuable and scarce and you would want to protect them. Who would think a bleach jar has 300 nails in it?
