    Windows 10,  No mods, v41.39  "at least it should be" even though it still shows 41.38 since GoG games apparently didn't get the hotfix for the number yet.
     
    Edit again- Maybe It's not caused by the temperature moodlet? I had them put on a lot more clothes, so they don't get cold anymore and it still happens.
     
    When my character is fishing in the fastest mode (F6), they will randomly stop fishing. I have them using a spear.  I've been paying attention to it and I believe that it is happening, when they switch from normal to "chilly". It seems to happen a lot more often when it is raining.   Is it setup this way on purpose, so that your character won't freeze if you happen to leave the computer for a few minutes?
     
    Edit - it also happens in other modes, not just the fastest speed.
    Edit 2 - It seems to happen when the chilly moodlet appears with the red down arrow.
    Edit 3 -  If I remember correctly, I switched to the "resilient" trait on my last few characters, just to give a bit more info to this. The currently used traits are...
    Weak, slow healer, unlucky, cat's eye, dexterous, fast reader, outdoorsman, graceful, inconspicuous, nutritionist, (resilient), eagle eyed, herbalist, keen hearing, organized, unfit, obese.
     
     
     
    Also, when they stop fishing on their own, if I close and re-open the fishing menu, it will show  (Fishing abundance nan%) until I actually have them start fishing. Then it goes back to 100%, since they haven't caught anything yet.
     
    Can anyone clear this up, or is this a bug?  (edit - switched a few words) It gets really annoying when I have to keep hitting (OK) to restart fishing, because they get a little chilly, when it's barely raining and they're not even getting wet yet.
     
    I never noticed it happening until yesterday (using V41.37) which I was using for a good while.  At first, I thought it might have been a bad save file, so I deleted it and it still happened.  I completely reinstalled the game with the newest updates and it's happening again.
     
    Edit one more time -  I just saw, that if you keep the fishing menu open, you can walk around and fish wherever you want. (Picture included at bottom)
    If you try this with Foraging, your character will walk all the way back to the foraging spot you chose.

    Hello,
    So this thread will be about books. normal red books that reduce boredom and stress from character.
    I have an idea which you might find interesting.
    So first of all change "book" item to 100 (or 20 or 50 or 1000- i like 100 because with book weight 0.5 kg all 100 books will fit to 1 big bookcase)) items with title and author (easy to get this either 100 best book or some fictional). Every title will be different - making it collectibles (is someone is bored or like to collect stuff).
    Every book will not give any reduction until is read (so it will have hidden values not seen until character will actually read this book). When first read it will reveal stats for this book (simple reroll of numbers - will give impression that character might like some books more that's why they have higher stats). Also add stat to 1 book (or give a chance of 1% to every book) to become "My Favorite book" - after first read it will give better than others stats (so imagine running away from home and grabbing just your favorite book).
    I think it might be interesting to slowly collect those books (they can multiply on map ofc not like 1 each) and see which book your character find as favorite (imagine lumberjack who likes the most some cheesy romance lol)

    Fanny Pack (Front) -> Equip Primary/Secondary -> Wear on Back -> Double Icon in Inventory Panel:

    In addition, it seems not a good idea to change DisplayName of Fanny Pack when it wear on Front or Back, since this will lose the name entered by player via "Rename".

    Hello,
     
    As title says, does not matter what i do or how many zombies i kill Spear level is 0. I tried to attach random things to spear, kill zombies, fish nothing works.
    I play with mode - Faster strength and athletics and Examine zombies to get 1st aid skill however when i disable them i cannot do it either.
    Newest build 41.39. I tried to verify files via steam - did not work.
    Is it worth to fully remove game and install it fresh? (maybe on new account) or it will be in different place?

    Caase can be closed. it was one of the mods. i unsubscribe from everything and install fresh game and it is working now.

    I finally get to assembling items that should be disassemblable but currently are not. See also "List of world tiles that can't be picked up" for items that are not movable.

    There's also various mirrors, though I don't know what they should drop and things like corkboards, cardboards posters and hay bales, there is no reasonable thing for them to drop, though they could technically be usable as a fire source. 
     
    Some of the items (e.g. microwave) should also use Electrical instead of metalworking and plastic items should not be disassemblable at all (currently I think just the table is).
     
    It might be a good moment to enable some thread and or fabric from disassembling the curtains, armchairs and coaches, as well as some Tailoring boost! It would surely help training that new skill.

    I was waiting for 2 zombies behind a fence. When the first one vaulted the fence and fell in front of me, the other one was just beginning the vault animation.
    I attacked with a hammer, but instead of hitting the closer zombie that was on the ground, I hit the one that was beginning the vault.
     
    Then, despite hitting the zombie during his vault animation, he only got the short stun animation (when you hit them with a weapon), and was already on the other side of the fence. Hitting him resulted in a faster recovery, skipping the whole vault/get up animation of the zombie. In this kind of situation (hitting a zombie at the beginning of his vault animation), maybe he should stay on the other side, or fall on the ground because of the hit.

    Hi, thanks for the respond...here  you go for the file....
    here some extra screenshot:
    1. See i almost fully naked, in very safe and relax environment my toons overheating all of sudden but when i take screenie heat are start dropping and Queasy icon are there, actually eventually i got overheating again and then HP drain rapidly and die.

     
    2. This is another try and the file i uploaded are related to this playthrough, everything fine until my toons feel drowsy i start cooking meal feed my toons, after eating i wash my toons before sending my toons to sleep then all these icon start popping up from mild become serious and lastly dead. From icon popping up until my toons die less than a minute. I lost count how many playthrough i have been end like this ever since i start playing this game.

    Hello,
    This is rather straight forward.
    When you build double doors you need 12 planks, 12 nails, 4 hinges and 2 doorknobs. However when you take an axe and destroy it (you need to destroy piece by piece) it all depend on, i think, skills so you can get much more materials than you actually build it. So if you want you can just build it on top of something and destroy to keep grinding and collect mats if you need.
    Maybe it could be limit for output to max input? (so every piece limit would be 1 hinge, 3 planks and 3 nails plus two of them will have a chance to drop doorknob). It is not really big deal but kind of funny if you need planks fast

    So, I went back to the lake for some fishing during around 17:30 till around 21:00 and I managed to catch 3 decent-sized fish and a pair of socks!! Yes I used up all my crickets but I had enough worms to get by. See the attached “screenshot” I took with my cellphone for the fishing results. Now I can have something fresh to last me another few days! 
     
    Now I just need to figure out if foraging is still feasible at all in winter and if so during what times of the day. I just saw the first snow in-game, which was beautiful, so I need to try and survive this...
     
    So, it looks like the problem is solved for now. Thanks a lot for your help and patience!

    My game crashed when transferring a steel plate to a (not full) container. It crashes again upon restarting and reloading. Hopefully this will provide some insight in why this happened.

    So I was playing some Project and noticed a bug while building a bridge over a lake.

    Straight coast are working fine but if it comes to the corner coasts it isn't crossable if a floor is build on it. I even tried building floors around them without luck.
    I'm happy to help with another screenshot if it's needed

    found all kinds of purses and handbags, along with all backpacks, except for alice pack.

    but not a single fanny pack whatsoever. just none.

    As in the title, the zombie crawls towards you and pushes you away/stuns you/makes u fall down. Problem is, 
    -player clicks to atack, then the zombie pushes him away before finishing a hit. after the push, player character continues the atack without player input. It results in the player (me a lot of  times) being s, unable to move during the atack, just like shown on the video

    Hi survivors! (And Indie Stone, too)
    Did anyone want a grill on their base?

    The game allows you to pickup the grill with propane, although it says that you need to remove it.
    We picked up the grill from the ground (We didn't pull out the propane), put it back on the ground - the model of the object has changed to a microwave (But game still think that's a grill). Then again taking and returning to the ground the object - it finally turns into a microwave (It even works! Profitable?)
    BUT! If we take out the propane, everything works fine.
    This is the whole bug.

    For convenience, here is a video with this small bug (CAUTION! The video may be too loud, sorry!) 


    The bug was found by my friend on his computer and checked on mine. Without the use of mods in both cases. This is my first bug report, there may be typos in the text, thank you!

    Started fishing with 9 worms.
    -no luck so far... down to last worm!!
    --Caught my first fish!!  (might have leveled up... not sure yet)
    ---No more bait.
    ----Close fishing GUI.
    -----Player is stuck in the fishing model.
    ------Things that do not work:
    -------Right click - Move to > does not work.
    -------Arrow keys do not work (w/ and w/o shift).
     
    I quit out of the app at that point.
    -It may work on app restart.
     
    Things i haven't tried yet:
    -attempting to start fishing again, so i can stop the action cleanly...?

    I'm not sure if I didn't reported that earlier, but evolved food such as stir fry, roasted vegetables etc (even salads IIRC). discard any thirst value of an item. Soups and Stews do have some thirst in them, but AFAIR the amount is fixed no matter the food.
     
    Might be intentional, as some water evaporates from veggies when they are fried or roasted, but IMO it shouldn't be all.

    Yes, this is a known issue. Has been reported, recorded and is awaiting a fix.

    Is it a known bug on IWBUMS where charcoal is consumed in one use versus the 10 charges it's supposed to have?
     
    For reference, the only heat source that appears to accept charcoal is the charcoal barbecue.
