    I don't really know what to say other than read the thread... All of your points have been discussed, most of them have been proven as illogical in a situation like this.
    I'll take an example. Duckt tape plus sheet metal. You're saying that duckt tape won't limit your movement if you don't put it in the joints. I wholeheartedly disagree. Rolling tape around your muscles if relaxed will very much restrict the full movement of the muscles when flexing. If not tight it will provide a great biting surface for ripping the skin. Add the sheet metal you suggested and your movement will be even further limited. Also there's the thing of sharp edges that will hurt when moving about if not padded extremely well and that in turn again restricts movement. Also as has been said the heat factor should be taken into consideration too. The breathing abilities of duckt tape aren't that great....
    Now I'm not saying that they wouldn't work at all, but you seem to be suggesting a wonderarmor that no zombie is going to get through.
    Also I don't think there are that many larpers or "historical European martial artists" in Muldraugh KY. We should rather focus from the top down in what's common and add those sort of things if they in fact do add something to the game play realistically and more common things are already in game.

    As we know the Multiplayer is on. You asked us to test it. So after this i of course join to this action )))

     

    When i play with other sirvivors i dont know anything about their mood thing, untill i dont ask about this,but what if that happened in furious battle for territory or suplies, i have no time for talking, or in situation where i shoot into the other sirvivor, i dont even know i missed or hit them... so what about to add some new animation which will show everyone some of your main moodles.

    that will be very usefull especialy for MP, for example you see survivor that was infected and you can decide to share a food with him,or not,coz he will die soon anyway, also you can be confused and shoot him    . that will be more cool and realistic.
     
    Or you guys can just make the moodles of other players to be visible, if they have a medic skill, or some social skill.
    But i think animation will be more realistic.
     
    And as another suggestion- be useful to bind text-talk messages like "stop" or "dont shoot". for example dota 2 phrase ring

    Just to remind you guys that marihuana can be used for others thing than getting anxiety out (in this game, and in real life). You can make clothes with, food, ropes and such... It is a fibrous plant.

    well if they get modded in (or maybe officially introduced into PZ) I'd say that there should be a downside to consumption though. like awareness -2 or something like that. drowsiness +1 whatever...

    Indeed scottsm, of course it is a priority, everyone knows of it, being rude and self-entitled is not helpful mate. Everyone has the same thing in front of them, you are just somewhat more obnoxious about it than most about it.

    I don't understand how one could come to that conclusion. The only "feature" that's lacking compared to the old versions are the completely useless NPCs and the 3 minute long tutorial.
     
    Everything else has changed. There are now three gamemodes, one of which is extremely customisable. Overall more items and a way larger map.

    Hello everyone, this post will explain how to do things as an admin on your server (please note it'll be for build 25).
     
    When you first launch your server, or if no "admin" account exist, a password for the user 'admin' will be asked in your console.
     
    Once your set 2 times the password, the admin user=admin password=yourpassword will be created, you can now log with it and administrate the server (create user, create admin, spawn items, etc.)
     
    Once you logged with him, you'll have access to some commands, to have a full list type /help in the chat.
     
    Every command have to be entered directly in the chat, press "t" and then /youroption.
     
    Server host can also manage their server directly via the console (no need to type the "/" for the commands), example  :

     
     
    1) Administrator Commands
     
    Remember to type /help to have a full list or /help command to have the help tooltip for this command.
     
    I *may* have put some easter eggs in there... But they won't appear in /help
     
     
    2) Server Options
    The server options are stored in the Users/Zomboid/Server/servertest.ini file, it can be changed directly inside the .txt with an additional reboot of the server, or manually in game with the /changeoption optionName=value and after the command /reloadoptions.
     
    This is the list of the current Server Options :
     
    So let's say I want to stop the PVP on the server without reloading, I log as admin or use the console, and do :

      /changeoption PVP=falseAnd then
      /reloadoptions3) LogsThe host will have several logs to help him track down cheater, abusing admin, etc.
     
    The logs are located in Users/YOU/Zomboid/Logs/ folder, everytime you reboot your server new logs are created (like this : dd-mm-yyyy_hh-MM_loggerName.txt) and the previous one are put inside a backup folder (like logs_dd-mm-yyyy/).
    Everytime a logs size is > 10mo (will be configurable) a new logs is created.
     
    For now we have 2 logs, an "admin" one and a "pvp" one.
    The admin one will log everything that an admin do, few examples :

    Warning: THIS WILL COMPLETELY BREAK ANY SAVE COMPATIBILITIES. It was impossible to merge MP and SP and retain any save compatibility. As such, once this goes official onlinetest and build23 will be preserved in Steam branches for the foreseeable so people can continue games.

    Remove plant action is now synchronized. Some fix on farming (plant was here but unusable, ...). Added a warning message if you try to type an unknow command in the chat (like if you type "/al Hello !" you'll have a "unknow command /al Hello !" warning in the chat box). Now trim the /all message (understand you can't just write "/all"). Rain barrel are now loaded on player connect. Fixed missing pillar sprites when building stairs (and also made them destroyable). Fixed tomato instant growing. Fixed building walls problem with a controller plugged. Bleach is Unhappiness +99 instead of -10 (used to make you happy?) Craftable doors could be opened from far away by clicking on them. Synced burning players and zombies.  The player might be burning on the server but not on the client before. Fixed never-wake-up from sleep bug. No more barricading crafted walls, or adding sheet ropes to crafted walls. Fixed Survival Guide contents being drawn over the title bar. When a player died in multiplayer, all the other players would equip the dead player's stuff. The "Climb through window" context menu command now works if you are trapped in a piece of furniture next to a window.  Holding 'E' already worked. Fixed moodles sometimes overlapping. Fixed animation speed of rain and fire at different FPS. Fixed save folders with spaces not loading.  Although the game converts spaces to underscores when creating a savefile, there is nothing from stopping the user from renaming the folder. Fixed sheet rope climb speed not being affected by the speed control setting. MP: Scratches from weapons would cause infection. Fixed water remaining in sinks/toilets not being remembered properly. Make sure tooltips get hidden when windows are hidden. Stopped zombies thumping crafted stairs, so they can climb them now. Fixed path separators in the joypad directory on Linux. Fixed the Caps Locks key breaking savefile names etc. MP: Less weirdness with blood/animations when fighting zombies. [NEW STUFF]Added the number of players connected in the PLAYERS list (press escape and click "PLAYERS"). You now can't join a server with an empty user name. Added a "QUICK JOIN" button in the server list, allowing you to join the server without save it in the list. Safety System : http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/6011-the-safety-system-once-build-25-is-out/ Added key binding for Local chat, Global chat and Toggle safety. The on/off state of stoves is saved. The inventory window font size can be changed between Small, Medium and Large fonts. Set Disabled=true in a game controller *.config file to ignore that device. The Heavy Load moodle now has 4 different settings (only 1 was shown before).  The player is slowed down more with increasing weight up to 2x maximum carrying capacity. MP: Synced zombie appearance.  Ditto for zombie corpses. Added "Remove sheet rope" command.  You get the sheets back but not the nail. Added "Climb through" command to crafted window frames, same as normal windows. MP: Reduced book reading time by 1/2. MP: Synced thunder and lightning. MP: Synced weather-related stuff such as temperature, phase of the moon, and nighttime brightness. Return to menu.  After death or exiting, the game returns to the main menu. Mods are loaded/unloaded as soon as the Mods window is closed. MP: Added player slow-down when zombies grab. MP: Sync zombie sounds. There's a -nosound option that disables audio. [OTHER]Changed the calcul in the eat 1/4,1/2 food option (it's now always based on the base hunger reduction). [CLIENT]Map choose + Character creation + Random spawn point added. Note : Random spawn point can be changed by the admin so everyone could spawn at the same point, but by default it'll be random (just like single player). Servers in ServerList will be pinged, so you can see if they are online, the number of players connected... [sERVER]The server welcome message is now in the server options (Users/Zomboid/Server/ServerOptions.ini only on server side) ready to be customized. Soft world reset. Will remove zombies, bodies, loot, reset all containers in world. Will leave all construction in place. Database will now be created if not found on the server. Added a LogLocalChat server option, used to log the local chat ("t" key) in all the client chat box. Added AutoCreateUserInWhiteList Server option : If you server is open, this option will allow the server to create the user in whitelist if they entered the server with a password, so his username will be protected. DisplayUserName : False = you won't see another players username on top of their head + their name won't be logged inside the local chat (true by default).     So I've got a few buildings that I've been making.
     
    They ain't as beautiful or ambitious as some of the others already posted, but hopefully it's better that I post them here rather than leave them on my computer never to see the light of day. Also I'm not tending to detail things like gardens etc. - if you use these files you'll get the chance to do this yourself
