RichCoconut got a reaction from syfy in /clearworldof "item name" + other commands
I believe these commands should be implemented, along with what it does and an example below:

/cleanworldof "item name" - Clears the entire world or the area you are in of the item specified, so if people spam things from other servers (v32, I'm counting on you) they can be cleaned immediately. Also, if items were not gained on the server itself, the item should be deleted and they should be auto-banned by the game I believe, or kicked.

/summonplayer "player name" - Summon a player to your location, pretty straight forward. Good for events.

/viewplayer "player name" - View the players items, vital signs, location (xyz), if the character was created on the server or not, and the players IP. From this window, you can choose to Ban, Kick, Force Kick (will explain later), IP Ban, Godmode, and Unstuck. (Will explain later)

/forcekick "player name" - Force kick a player from the server. As of now, there's a bug where players are kicked because the ping is too high, yet they remain on the server and they aren't able to reconnect unless *sigh* the server resets.

/unstuck "player name" - Makes a player either spawn on your location or makes them respawn at the first location they were at upon login, so if they are stuck from falling in the air they can be resolved.

/restartworld - Restarts the world from the last state when /saveworld was used or back to sandbox settings (kicks all from the world and resets itself).

    Various other ideas:

There should be a pop-up window like CS:GO has when logging on servers that can redirect to a website (for servers that have forums/rules/things they want players to see that they won't read because nobody reads anything unless its in the face.

    ServerOptions ideas:

Maintenance=false/true - if on, players will get a message saying there is maintenance being done and server will return shortly

PresentRules=false/true - If true, players will be prompted with a text file showing the server rules and having to hit "Accept" upon logging in.

ZombieCount=false/true - If true, a counter will be displayed at the top under ping with how many zombies are in the world, (if you really wanna over achieve, show the town population of Z's as well.)

    Tell me what you think...

So, you're checking server logs using google?   If you need my help, I can check server logs for rasism, bad language and other stuff.
I played on your server this weekend with my friend (he's still playing and telling me cool stories about his adventures)
We saw a lot of Russian players who had bad manners (also there were good people). And all we could was finding them and killing (but this is not effective. if they cheat)

I understand everything you just said here.. That hit too close to home.. PZ is more than just an indie game to some of us. Each update I have no complaints and I keep coming back for more. I'm so excited to see this baby grow into the beautiful game that you guys all thought about long ago, possibly joking about getting to where it is today but actually seeing it happen.

2-supply items, realistic-this is not my suggestion I saw the skirt of steam suggestions in the community but did not have many views.
I think in many ways this game makes it harder to survive a zombie nightmare than it would be in real life.

If I could loot my IRL home in Project Zombiod I'd walk away with hundreds of nails/screws, any tool that I was missing, as much canned food as I could carry, a well stocked first aid kit, and a gun WITH ammo. I don't think I stock my home much different than most people. Everyone has these things in their home to some extent. Sure, some people have no self reliance, but it seems that literally every home in PZ belonged to those kind of people.

You could say, 'Well, when things started going south there was a lot of panic and looting. You get to pick through the random things that no one else took.'

I'm mostly cool with that idea, but if that were the case then where did all that loot go? Poof into thin air? I'd expect to find stashes from time to time. I'd expect to find items in the zombies pockets. A pocket knife, a pack of smokes, some chewing gum, car keys.. Something.. Remember that guy with the backpack that got bit? Well you just blew his head off, but his backpack is no where to be seen. I bet it had cool things in it.

Here is a list of things that should be changed:

Nails - made much more common. MUCH more.
Tools - made more common. What are the odds that five random houses don't have a hammer?
Trash bags - who keeps one trash bag??? I'd say 99% of homes have a whole box of them IRL
Trash cans - I bet it has a trash bag in it! Maybe if I just dump it out I can use it..
Nails - made much more common.
Beds - I bet that bed has a sheet on it! Maybe if I just tugged on the corner..
Trash cans - If I take the lid off maybe some water from the sky might get in there. Maybe..
Nails - everything made with nails should yield a few if you destroy it.
Seeds - should have no weight. I have a pack of onion seeds here. 1.8 grams. That's .004 lbs.
Cooking - don't think it could make less sense
Grills - I can pick my grill up off the porch and move it. I do it for fun sometimes.
Trash cans - Go get a trash can -> carry it home -> take the lid off -> +magic -> water catch

Here is a list of things that should be added:

Bent nails - I know for a fact that they can be reused. Right click -> straighten nails.
Burn cream - burns exist in the game, so why doesn't this?
    Powertools - ?
    Chainsaw - ??

Remember driving by that trailer park the other day and seeing that kid with the mullet swinging around a katana? I do, and I think it'd be just great against zombies. He also had a machete..
Other things but I'm tired of wasting my time on this..

To be honest this video game's probably had more of an impact on me than is within realms of most people's understanding, especially considering I only play it. Having battled depression my entire life probably since I was like 8,I've had to find countless coping mechanisms, doubly so since almost none of my anti depressants helped. Zomboid became a very major one after I had seen robbaz do a let's play. It helps grant a serious sense of escapism, while escapism isn't exactly the best coping mechanism a reprieve from the existence of permanently having bipolar + depression is ecstasy after periods of bad mental health. Sorry for the person dump. Really glad yall are taking your time on npcs. Every member of the community worth their salt should definitely recognize why its takeing so long. Love all you developers, guys are rad as heck.

I joke a lot about how NPC's will never come out, sometimes forgetting this one piece of wisdom...

    "developers are people too."

And so are teachers, doctors, engineers, music producers, etc.

I personally would like to agree with the statement that this is the most fleshed out NPC system in games I've seen to date. Kudos to the devs for their iron souls, unbeatable work ethic, stellar communication, and untouchable perseverance. The Project Zomboid developers and community have had a special place in the gaming part of my heart for awhile now. What does all this mean?

I don't care if I'm older than the Grand Wall of China and my balls sag to ground when the NPC's are released as long as I know the developers put their absolute best effort into creating them to be better than the best they can be, which I know they are doing right now.

    Keep it up guys.

I've played manya game, typically triple A, that, one release day, sucked and were buggy.  They were rushed, and were terrible to begin with.  Assassin's creed unity is a good recent example.  From everything I heard about it's day one, it was the worst game ever.  Yes, they patched it.  Yes, they gave the people that bought it free games.  But it still hurt and ruined the gamers' trust for the creators.  As the old saying goes, haste makes waste.  Titanic is a physical example, but hey, that's another rant.

I'm glad you guys are taking your time.  I would rather, far more, to have to wait months or years for an amazing feature to come out, flawlessly, than for it to be rushed and be broken and horrible.  Plus, as people above have stated, the longer it takes, the more features can be fitted in before it's added.  (Personally, I'm just wanting to see what other survivors are going to try and kill me with, besides baseball bat-disguised weapons )

It's like Fallout 4.  Those of us who are hoping for it to someday be released (or even announced.  We can be hopeful.) would rather it be under wraps, and built to perfection, than for them to slap it together in a few days and call it good. If that happened, I would curl up in my bed and cry myself to sleep for a week.

I can name a fair list of things that are being pushed back, or not giving a release date, in gaming alone, so that the developers can make a better product  (Oculus rift and No man's sky are among those that I myself and looking forward to) .   All I can say is that for all of these, if Time = Quality, then I am willing to wait as long as it takes to get an amazing experience.

    Server Lore

As an addition to our server, we've got lore to enhance the roleplay experience.

We're currently VERY close to a complete wipe, where we start all over on the server. Now's the best time to join!

    ____________________________________________________________________________________

So, what else can you expect from this server?

    - A storyline!
To make the roleplay more realistic and interesting, we
have a storyline going. Any major events or happenings,

    - An awesome community!
Our server has a very friendly and outgoing community,
which is welcoming to new players.

    - In-depth roleplay!
We take our roleplay very seriously and do our best, to
keep the standards high, to get the best possible
experience for everyone, experienced and inexperienced
    alike. Everyone's welcome!

    - Frequent events!
It's not just up to the players, to keep the server
interesting! The admins do their part too. Which is why
we have frequent events and various mini-events on the
server. We will keep you entertained!

    - Daily Quests!
So your group isn't online? Fear not! We'll make sure to
entertain you! The admins will make sure to keep you
entertained with new quests every single day.

    - New to roleplay? Fear not!
On NewDawn there's room for improvement. Even if you
aren't an experienced roleplayer, you're free to apply
and develop your skills. There's a lot of help to get too,
both to new players and to experienced players.

    - Tough environment!
The zombie apocalypse isn't easy! NewDawn combines a
rough environment with roleplay, making surviving an
actual challenge, which also makes room for character
development. Loot is hard to come by!

    - We've got PVP!
No killing on sight, but PVP is allowed! We've got
some strict rules, that prevents players from just going
around killing everyone, with no motive. Even so, living in
a post-apocalyptic world is risky, so don't get too comfy.
    Anything can happen!

I don't understand why people get so angry, when you kill them on a PVP server. I see this all the time, these so-called friendly people trashtalk me and other bandits, playerkillers, looters in chat. There is a hostility towards this way of playing, which i could understand if it was a roleplay server, or killing on sight wasn't allowed on the specific sever, but when playing on a PVP server that might not have the PVP safety button, it is totally fine to be a bandit imo.

People assume im an asshole or cheater, and i would like to make this post to point out the fact that you find assholes on both the friendly, and on the bandit side. I see friendly people openly talking about having multiple characters, so they can run loot safely, with their lvl 10 carpenter safely offline. A lot also combat log. These things are commonly accepted, no one lifts an eyelid. But if you kill someone (on a PVP server!), people get visibly angry. This i cannot understand.

I recognize it's annoying to get killed if you are leveled up, but the danger of getting killed, is why i, and others presumambly, play on PVP servers. Without bandits, it would get very very boring imo.

Btw i sometimes play non-bandit, and even though getting killed sucks, i really appreciate the danger that bandits provide.

I'm genuinely excited, now. Yes, I'm one of those impatient ones- but I try to limit my forum posts about NPCs and vehicles down to a bare minimum. Up till now, I've always been under the impression that NPCs were going to be... I don't know, the sort of NPCs you'd find in any game, and was not sure about the reason for the delay.
If the NPCs you guys are working on are truly one of the most ambitious in gaming history- then I am very excited.
    Beware the hype train!

This is something I've wanted to say for a while, and something everyone should remember when getting frustrated by the delay to the NPCs.

We started development of this game in early 2011. It's our baby and has literally consumed some 80%+ of my waking life (probably similar for the others) since 2011. We've had our lows (and some lows at that) and we've had our highs. The community we've built is incredible, and the love and pride we have for the game and community is immense. But...

This game has been in development for over four years now, and that is a long time for your life to be consumed by one thing (This goes way beyond 9-5 job levels). We'd never ever abandon PZ before it's the game we set out to make, but that's not to say we're not tired, worn out, and missing that feeling of working on something new. As well as the rewards, of which we are very grateful, PZ has taken its toll. Even when the day finally comes that some of us move on, as we've said before, we'd continue to support development of PZ for as long as it makes the money to support itself, and likely even some time after that. But there is that ache there for the truly fun and exciting feeling of exploring new ideas and the potential and wonder of a new game, an ache that strikes every developer and truth be told is years old at this point. I hope we score points for resisting it.

But we won't and can't even think about other projects seriously, even if we dabble in our spare time. It's too dangerous to even think about because we can't have any distractions as we need to deliver the full map, the vehicles, the NPCs, before we can hit 1.0. At the point PZ goes 1.0, a few of us will likely finally be able to explore what's next after PZ, and we hope our community is looking forward to whatever we do next too. As I said before, to reiterate, we'd make sure PZ was well supported as we don't want the day to come when PZ stops getting new content. I don't want to presume what the devs we've taken in from the community would like to do post 1.0, but I imagine PZ would continue with long standing devs the community knows and trusts to steer the ship straight, and of course even if working on something else we'd still be heavily involved.

So I guess around to my point: I know waiting for NPCs is hard. I know they keep getting pushed back, seem vapourware at this point, and trust me I want NPCs out there more than any single one of you, by a factor of like 10000000. I know many of you are patient, I know a few aren't, but I also know their impatience is a good sign as to how much people care. I also know that these NPCs are one of the most ambitious NPC systems in the history of games. It feels arrogant to say as much but I can't really argue against that statement. I'm aware of what we're biting off here. I'm totally confident we can do it, but the fact is after this huge delay we HAVE to deliver, and we HAVE to deliver something brilliant. So that's ironically the reason for the delay. They won't be released until they are brilliant. It's as simple as that. I don't want to say NPC development is a nightmare, because it is also wonderful and exciting in equal measure, but it's a shit ton of pressure that is on around the clock. It only makes me want to weep with sympathy imagining what GRR Martin is going through with the sheer monstrous scale of pressure on his shoulders compared to ours.

BUT. This is a good thing. Not for us, but for you. Why? Right now, EVERY member of the Indie Stone is working full time on PZ. We need to provide you with stuff, meaty content, to keep you happy, interested, and to improve the game in the meantime while we get our shit together with the NPCs and whatnot. We can't have 6 months or a year of no updates while we tick off our last remaining big bullet point planned features. We can't go 1.0 until NPCs are in. If that took a gazillion years that means a gazillion years of updates and support for PZ. If you think of all the many many great features that have been added into the game in the past couple of years since NPCs were removed. A lot of them would have made it in anyway, of course, but many of them may not have been.

As we say, we don't plan on abandoning PZ at any point in the forseeable future. But the fact still remains, that when NPCs, or Vehicles, or the completed map, go into the game, the longer they took, and the more delays and frustrations they had in getting here, they WILL go in. And if they take a long time: The game they will be dropped into will end up better, more feature rich and deep because of it. All the while having the entire Indie Stone dev team dedicated to the game with zero distractions.

So yeah. Brain dump, but its a point of view I wanted to share with you all. hope you don't hate us for dreaming of new adventures at some point in the future.

I come out of my 3 story fortress/office blocks I see a zombie and the panic Moodle comes up. It would be nice if our player could after a while become "desensitised" like the trait. I think it would be really nice if our player could evolve traits after a while, like being in the rain lots could make you an "outdoorsman". I think this would be an awesome feature please leave a comment on what you guys think.

As I have been enjoying project zomboid it is mostly the former that I struggle with. If it could be coded into the game (like a txt file for listed words across the game as a whole) in a way that would still allow for multiplayer to have certain words changed or *****ed that would be great.
