BlackPaladin Posted December 13, 2013 Share Posted December 13, 2013 Tested built doors more:When you have "perfect" carpentry doors you can open/close with e, but you can't right click them to close them, only open, other lvl doors you can do both. So it seems only the mouse click option to close them is missing.And lemmy, yeah i checked all garbage cans as well as cabinets in half of west point and only found 8. I found more empty bottles in garbage cans than I did garbage bags, which is hilarious. Banjo Posted December 14, 2013 Share Posted December 14, 2013 Found a bug today with the latest update: When you start a new game (Muldraugh or West Point) and start creating your character but change your mind and "back out" to the menu... if you then try to start a new game, the 'Next' button will be greyed out on the map select screen... that is, you won't be able to start a new game if you back out of starting one! Try it and see if it happens for you to; I've duplicated this repeatedly with no mods or anything else loaded. Incidentally, any reason for the change of soup can icon? I kinda liked the old one better as it was much easier to identify (compared to, say, beans) at a glance. No biggie, just wondering. I have no idea, didn't know about this myself, but can only assume it's to avoid any legal complications since it looked identical to Campbell's Soup at that size. I wondered if that was the reason myself, though surely it wouldn't be an issue... it certainly didn't stop Andy Warhol (or NeoScavenger, for which I actually find that can design more iconic now!). Two more things: The 'Reloading' option in the Options menu is missing for me... no dropdown box to select. Is there any way to prevent that huge 'loader' window popping up? It takes forever and really slows down being able to quickly quit and restart when testing things. If it HAS to be in the game, can I suggest/request either or both:1) A batch file to start the game without the loader.2) The loader just being a small popup similar to the Steam one but with three buttons instead of opening that big, slow webbrowser page (which is what I'm presuming slows things down and definitely what fills the whole screen!); 'Start', 'Compatibility Mode' and 'Info', where 'Info' loads the webpage... thus making it optional rather than forced every time you start the game. However, one item-related bug I hit almost instantly was that the soup cans and open soup cans - while now matching correctly - have an issue: if you have several unopened soup cans in inventory and use the can opener to open one... it seems like nothing happens. Once you've opened ALL the soup cans in your inventory, however, all will suddenly change to "opened" versions (suggesting this was being done all along but that it wasn't being shown while you carried a mix of open and unopen soup). Also, randomly noticed that cabbage seeds have no icon, by the way (the packet does, but not the seeds themselves). Incidentally, any reason for the change of soup can icon? I go upstairs, and than i either fall through the floor, or i walk through everything for a few secs. and than the game crashes.Same bug as in 17(12c). I tried building in different fashions (layout, putting sakes,poles(german=Pfahl) under the floortiles), getting the same 2 outcomes. 2. Looks like you have an old reference to the craft helper mod in your mods (or maybe you copied/pasted the files directly in your zomboid folder, in this case, delete them ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
