Build 38.19

 

[New]

  • You can now build log wall with dirty rags.

 

[Balance]

  • Increased a tad pain killer duration.
  • Increased a tad soap spawn rate.
  • Increased soap duration (from 10 uses to 20).

 

[Bug Fix]

  • Fixed generator being reset on reload on MP.
  • Fixed not being able to forage (missing zones).
  • Fixed wrong calculation in bleeding/scratch time.
  • Infinite bleeding time should be fixed.
  • Exported new tiles in 1x (to fix some people not seeing new graves tile).
  • Fixed nullPointer during SleepEvent.

Ill test as soon as Ricky updates server :P

 

But I still hate seeing my screenname get swapped from my favorite hotsauce. Can I at least get it changed to my second favorite hotsauce?

when i cook with a bowl (salad, etc) if im level 0 cooking after the third ingredient the stats of the food starts decreasing exemple:

bowl with 3 ingredient -30 hunger -15 happy -15 bored with the 4th goes -10 happy and -10 bored and so on (all different ingredient of course) and when im lvl 1 or more it doesnt happen

This is intentional :) With a cooking level of zero your character doesn't know how to blend that many things into a tasty meal. The higher your cooking level is the better your complex meals will be :)

Hi, I found some more bugs. Playing SP.

 

1. I spawned in Muldraugh and I cannot forage anywhere. Cannot forage even I'm in the middle of the woods.

2. The charcoal BBQ does not accept any fuel and outputs errors when you try to add some. I tried adding charcoal, newspaper, magazine, sheet of paper and ripped sheet but I get the following

It looks like the same error/exception is thrown every time. I am able to light the BBQ but since there is no fuel it starts and then burns out quickly.

 

Note: The highlighted color bug still exists.

Hey!

 

I had a bug report regarding this issue. Try deleting the file map_zone.bin - this worked for me as it was recreated by the next logging into the server.

 

But remember to backup all files prior to this.

Did you loaded a save from previous build, if so, which one?

Was it a new save?

 

We have a workaround for this bug (delete map_zone.bin) but thing being, i'd like to know how it happend to fix it!

Hi, this was a brand new game on the released branch, I think it was version 38.15 or 38.16 at the time. I'll try that fix. Thanks.

Yeah, I may understand why then, during 38.16 (i think, maybe was .17) i did a bug that deleted zone locally, meaning when map_zone was saved there was no zone.. Sorry about that, it should now work properly everytime!

Deleting that file works - now I can forage! Thanks! :). Hope you will fix the other bugs soon, especially the item selection bug.

The developer just replied to me with the same fix. It also works for SP! Thanks for letting me know!

Hi RJ! 

- Is deleting Multiplayer/servername/map_zone.bin with active players online is safe? Or i need everybody logoff?
- After tests on  backup copy enviroment ,  after deleting map_zone.bin,  i've loged in just inside sructures (??) and have some black spot around me and impossible to move. Noclip not helped me. still stucked. Only teleport to other spot resolves issue.  Is it safe for all players who didn't have access to teleport ?
