lol, but think of all the damage we could do with rounds measuring 223mm and 308mm.

although i guess that gun could be kind of hard to carry.

    Amen!

Automatic firearms are illegal in all states by federal law.  They require a class three firearms permit which are only granted to gun shop owners that supply weapons for police and military forces.
The M4 being a military grade fully-automatic is illegal.  The AR-15 is a civilian version of the same rifle that is semi-automatic.

Not enough people know what they need too about U.S. gun laws even though they live here.
I would recommend all people look up the gun laws for the weapon they intend to suggest.

    Google Kentucky firearm laws, people.

Thought came to mind a while ago, why not add pallets to the game?
They'd be great for those starting out and needing to barricade a safe house.  Either one could disassemble a pallet for the planks and nails it has,
or one could set them up like the buildable fence,
you could even attach a few to a wall and you have a ladder, I mean there is tons of potential for pallets, what do you all think?

No one in Kentucky owns an M4.  They all own AR-15's and stuff.  M4 is illegal.

Maybe there is a way to make a gunshot bring zombies in from unloaded cells.  For example, someone fires a shotgun.  It would have a sound radius of maybe 15 cells.  It would take the zombies from the unloaded cells and put them in the loaded cells in about the same amount of time it would take for them to walk there.

Sometimes I would like to live in a hut in the woods. But I can't because I just get wet because I'm not a high level carpenter.
I understand the reasons behind needing to be a high level carpenter to build stairs. I also don't want to talk about ladders here.
I want to be able to craft a makeshift roof. A roof that I can build above my head that is not load bearing. It would keep the rain off but if somehow you try and walk on it you fall through and break yourself.
There would need to be some sort of game mechanic that stops people from making silly floating roofs. (I'm not sure how hard that would be?)
    I'm thinking something like-
Tree branches + twigs = makeshift roof
This would also help clean up some of the mess made by chopping down lots of trees.

This is the truth I get off-topic easily.  Axe heads should be able to be replaced, but they would need something to bind the head to the new handle.  I'm not sure how crowbars break at all.

    Zombie apocalypse to do list:
1: Remove all safety devices from car.
2: Add train style cow catcher to my car.
3: Realize I should have an RV and buy one.
4: Move all upgrades from other car to RV.
5: Remove all safety features from RV.

I'm pretty sure he is talking about hiding on one side of the car while zombies walk past on the other side.  or hiding inside the car, that would be cool.
Edit: I can't figure out how to quote!!!

as a vegetarian i find this kinda insulting. we aren't just people that don't like meat, there's a lot more to it. there's an overweight choice, even an obese choice, i could make the same argument you're making by saying a zombie apocalypse would change their eating habits, but it wouldn't. eating habits are instilled into our brain, hence the word habit. it isn't always a choice.

With the addition of Keys into the new build I think a nice addition to go along with it would be the ability to dismantle doors using a screwdriver and be able to retrieve all the hinges and door knobs. As with the current situation of destroying the door there is a chance that the door knob could be lost, rendering the key useless.

I know that the problem with that is that technically a door is then made with screws, so would that require the need to add screws? In the long run I would say yes, but to be fair I have never had a door assembled with nails, or without a drill.  Just saying

To make it fair you could only dismantle a door from the inside, as most doors can only be dismantled from the inside. But don't make it 100% effective, instead it would just have a higher percentage of dropping. Since some things just break from age. The door can still break to planks like it does currently.

This would be a safer option for base builders as it would give a higher chance of items, and it would allow people to take the door knob for a key that they just found, instead of not knowing what house the 5 keys you have go to. This would also give the screwdriver more use in the game.
