Connall got a reaction from Rodjah in How to use the "Heat" event on recipes?
Ah yes, one of my implementations and kind of a cheat. It's kind of a solution to a problem that didn't really exist as it turned out. My recollection is foggy but if I remember correctly, when you place an item into an oven or fire or something over time the icon gets more red to indicate that it is heating up, once the item is at the -0.22 heat value (+1 is frozen) then the recipe could be crafted. I believe it's at -0.22 because that's as low as camp fires can heat an item I think? Ovens can go to -1 depending on the temperature.

The language has been added so that community translators can translate to Estonian but the language hasn't been translated yet. I used Spanish files to test that the files were loading correctly, I must have forgotten to switch the files back to English for translating.

Again, I can't reproduce this. I just cooked it and dragged into my inventory and it was fine.

Connall got a reaction from traindoc in The Modders Wishlist
So I recently been poking around and speaking to modders on a fairly regular basis (shoutout to the workshop_modding channel on Discord) and recently it feels like I been finding out about certain issues, or wishes more through happenstance than actually seeing it brought up elsewhere. So this thread is being created for modders to make requests for changes that could greatly help them in the creation of mods.

With that in mind there are a couple of caveats and preemptive questions I feel I should perhaps address:

Q: When will my suggestion be implemented?

A: It may never go in. This is something I am going to be balancing with my other duties, such as the small suggestions thread and my bug hunting duties, so not everything will be implemented. Obviously, we'll try our best but no promises!

Q: WorldZed, TileZed etc could use feature X

A: I personally don't work on those tools, so I can't actually make changes to them. Some of the team members who work on those tools, are also rather busy folks so feel free to make a suggestion and I'll try and pass them along to the relevant people, but don't expect those sorts of changes to happen or if they do, to be quick.

Q: I want to load models, skin characters, or other questions about loading this stuff in.

A: I also don't really work on those systems. A change has been made that will be going out in the next build, which should help people in that regard. However, it's only supposed to tide people over until animations come out where these sorts of things will become a bit better supported.

Q: That seems like quite a few caveats.

A: I suppose it is. This really is to get a pulse on what modders are looking for and to perhaps help matters out slightly, but it's also important to note this won't be a main focus, but this gives a collective avenue for modders to make suggestions and potentially make things, just a little bit easier.

    So! Suggest away!

Bought the game back when you had to buy another game to get it. Maybe 2011-2012, was only occasionally on the original forums but was on the fringe of the community. Contributed to sites like pz-guides and such, eventually taking a break until I saw a tweet asking for people to contribute to the wiki. Joined the new forums at the end of 2013, contributed to the wiki eventually taking it over. When Multiplayer came out I offered support to people who needed it, writing guides until eventually I was made a moderator. Continued contributing before being made an Administrator, contributing to their site and writing their bug tracker.  Moved to Newcastle and became a dev, a year-year and a half ago now.

It's possible the branch hasn't made it in yet then, because I most definitely made the changes. No, items and such are not in the translation folder but tied to their actual recipes and item deceleration, which causes unfortunate issues with translations.

I agree, which is why I want to change it. I can see this coming back to bite us in the ass down the line again, the flipside of it is though if I make the change it's going to break a lot of translations since the keys will need to be updated to the new style. Should be easy enough for items, but not so easy with recipe names.

With this mod installed, players will need to defecate. This can be noisy and you'll need some kind of toilet paper, but holding it in too long will only make matters worse. Combine this with the zombie apocalypse and you get some interesting scenarios...

    Changelog

    Config
As of version 2.1 the settings are now located in the vanilla sandbox settings under the 'Defecation' category. Any of these values can be set to a decimal value (0.25, etc). Please note these are all multipliers, so whatever the default value is times this value, these are not the actual values.

    How to Use

To open the GUI press the , (comma) key on your keyboard by default. Press the . (period) key to open the GUI for player 2. The GUI was designed to be updated in real time, so it can be left open, or you can open it periodically to check the status. This keybind can be changed in your key bindings under 'Defecation Status'.

If you are above 66.66% you can right click in the world to 'Defecate' and you will become stressed.

If you have the required materials in your inventory, you will be able to click the 'Defecate' option - if you do not have the required materials, it will let you know all of the available options.

Clicking the defecate option will start the process, it will be one short timer for pulling down your pants and another longer timer for actually defecating.
You will always defecate on the ground.

As of version 1.1 you can alternatively defecate using a toilet. This will require 10 units of water (in the toilet), you will flush your feces, the toilet will make a loud noise, and you will not need toilet paper.

Drinking dirty water or eating raw or rotten food can give you the possibility of getting diarrhea. If you have diarrhea you will see the upset stomach icon and you will need to defecate up to 4x quicker than usual. You can find 'Anti-Diarrheal Pills' in medical stores or bathrooms and these will calm your stomach, but they will not cure you. You will only be cured when your body no longer has contaminants (dirty water, bad food) in it.

If you are under the influence of anti-diarrheal pills, the upset stomach icon will be green rather than red for 3 hours, up to 6 hours maximum.

If you are panicked, and over 80% (or 70%, if you have diarrhea) you have the possibility to poop yourself. This will upset your character and debuff the lowest layered item on your groin/upper legs (you can easily tell what clothing items are debuffed by looking for '(Defecated)'. Continuing to wear them will further upset your character so they should be sterilized with bleach and water.

Standing near piles of feces will slowly make your character unhappy as well making them nauseated. You will hear a 'flies' sound.

    610. afternoon, I happen to have wrist problems, which as much as i love PZ prevent me from long term play as i must always hold a button to aim (no matter where i bind it) Does a mod exist or can it be done to add a toggle feature to the aim? i tried searching on steam to no avail; and a simple mod like this could add much play time and enjoyment for me.
