    I would like a mod where you can add personalized music through a CD as in the videogame my summer car can work both in car radio and in the portable CD player.
    It can be inserted into the CD player to listen to personalized music. Up to 15 tracks can be added to the CD.
    Custom music must be in Ogg Vorbis format (.ogg), and each track must be named Track1.ogg, Track2.ogg, Track3.ogg up to Track15.ogg. The music must be inserted in the following directory:
    . \ steamapps \ common \ My Summer Car \ CD
    This is an example of the game My Summer Car but the folder can be called custom music or CD and add music.

    Vehicle Battery Proxy. This is a work around for people early in game who would like to get a certain vehicle with a dead battery started but don’t have the proper class of battery to do so.
     
    The truth is almost any car or truck battery can start any other car or truck with the exception of specialty vehicles like 18 wheelers and the like. Though the battery may not have the proper capacity or dimensions for that vehicle it will have the standard 12 volts required and enough amps to get any car or truck started without issue.
     
    My suggestion is that you let the player install any battery in any vehicle to get it started. Once running the PZ character can swap out the battery used to start the vehicle for the one intended for that vehicle.
     
    As for game balance, you can make it so that any class of battery can start any class of vehicle but only matching class vehicle and battery will charge in that vehicle. That should keep people from exploiting this feature.

    I feel when the power gets out indoors become way to pitch black. Coming from a person who lived in a house for 20+ years I know for a fact that it is not pitch black in the morning, none of the lights in my house are on until late at night. 
     
    To prevent overly complex lighting algorithm and since indoor lighting is separate. I think the light should have a "minimum" light level during daylight hours and clear weather.

    I like. 
     
    Something similar: it would be nice to have a pocket system to make cloths more functional. That is, regular pants should slightly increase your carrying capacity in your main inventory, but even dress shirts (I.e. those that have breast pockets) should do the same. Cargo pants would be even better, etc. You should also be able to sew pockets-- even holsters, etc.-- in your cloths to increase carrying capacity.

    Holsters and Tool belts are nothing new, we had them for more than a 100 years from knights sword sheath to fictional characters like batman, they make surviving in the world easier.
    The ability to equip holsters and tool belts would refine one major issue of the inefficient UI.
     
    The system could be similar to Defiance MMO - you setup "Gear sets" you want ahead of time. Then a wheel GUI appears you pick one set. Then takes 5s to switch to the new gear set. 
    This way you can go around looking for belts and holsters to add guns, flash lights, hammers, etc ( one handed weapons ) to quickly switch between. 
     
    Proposed Mechanic.
    Default: Starts with 1 Set
    Find Tool belt - Gets 2nd set unlocked ( One handed Meele - 2 items0 ) 
    Find Holster - Gets 3rd set unlocked ( One handed Range )
    Make Modified Backpack - Gets 4th set unlocked 2 handed range \ meele ( one item ) 
     
    takes 2s to change between one handed sets
    Takes 3.5s to change to 2h set.   
     
    Unfortunately, this is the best Video I could find on Youtube, but it makes the point pretty clear.

    I think PZ sorely lacking of details for a zombie apocalypse, streets are too clean, everything is too smooth...
     
    So, here's a list of some improvements that can be added to the game:
     
    - More wastes (more trash on the street, like papers, blood, bodies...)
    - More street furnitures (barricades, sandbags, destroyed police barrage, overturned cars, bus stops, destroyed or damaged steetlights...)
    - More horror (rotten bodies, dead bodies with supplies, blood splatters, bones, mummified bodies, suiciders, clothes and broken dishes on floor in houses...)
    - More mess in houses (broken furnitures, bullet holes in walls, jammed doors, water leak, etc...)
    - More visible nature taking back her rights (foliage and grass can grow up inside houses)
     
    You can complete the list or tell what you thing about.
     
    Hope this thread is not a copy of hundred other theads.

    The world of PZ definitely looks too clean.
     
    Every chair is neatly tucked in, all furniture is standing upright, no hastily-built furniture barricades, basically 99% of homes look like an Ikea showroom. Also, every car is parked in between the lines in car parks...

    Hi,

    I think adding more corpse positions may make the game more realistic.

    When you kill dozens of zombies (making a field, litterally), it's a little bit frustrating when they all have the same position (on the back, hand on the chest).

    I think this will had more immersion.

    What do you think about ?

    989.   Anoted notes/survivor journals.
    you can find them randomly on corpses of zombies or just regular corpses of people who committed  suicide. They will state the thoughts and last words of the survivors, some may hint at a possible place for loot to be and some just may be writing up until their final moments. This could work  similar to the anoted maps. I feel it would add yet another layer of immersion onto this  beautifully  crafted immersion cake that is Project Zomboid lol.

    990. Spawn partially consumed and prepared food.
     
    It's a bit strange that all the food spawns only raw and untouched. Did the people eat all the food raw? I don't think so. Then we can make some food spawn partially consumed, opened (if it's a canned food) or even fully prepared dishes such as soup, salads etc.
     
    991. More alcohol.
     
    Title says it all, basically. Currently all the alcohol drinks we have is Whiskey and two sorts of wine. Would be good to see more drinks such as Beer, Martini, Vodka, Liquor, Rose wine, Absinthe, Bourbon (We're in Kentucky, so why not?) and other drinks.

    880. Give us the ability to clean bloodstains with more than just mops. I fail to see why sponges or even rags wouldn't work just as well.
     
    881. Ice Cream Sundaes! We've got ice cream. We've got bowls. We've got nuts and cherries. Let us throw them all together and create an ice cream sundae to chase the post-apocalypse blues away! Some syrups (chocolate, caramel, and strawberry) and whipped cream (EDIT: and sprinkles!) wouldn't go amiss either.

    Hell yes! Give us the opportunity to:
     
     - Temporarily deafen ourselves when we fire a gun in enclosed environments (possibly negated with earplugs)
     - Temporarily blind ourselves by welding without eye protection
     - Risk driving a nail through our hand with low carpentry skill
     - Risk burning ourselves or slicing a finger open with low cooking skill
     - Twist our ankle when running through the woods in a blind panic
     
    We can always use more chances to injure ourselves (especially through our own stupidity) in Project Zomboid.

    So, as the title says, it would be great to have two ways to move furniture.
     
    First way is just pushing. Character simply pushes furniture to the place he wants. Speed depends on how heavy furniture is. Another players may also help you to move it. You can use this way to barricade doors/windows or if you just want to make your place look prettier.
     
    The second way is to disassemble furniture, pick up it's parts and move them wherever you want. You can use this way if you want to move furniture for a big distances.

    Hi everyone. So I have been lately working on a mod that replaces (or rather adds to the roster) non-burnt, crashed vehicles that aren't driveable due to being wrecks basically. They are non-lootable at the very moment, however I do plan trying to make their trunks atleast lootable. They won't be fixable either, so you can only scrap them for metal, like burnt ones.
     
    There are sadly some limitations that I will have to obey (like inability to make randomised colors, so there will be 4 colors for each car model).
     
    I plan to make 20 models in total (or more), not counting color variations.
     
    I should make atleast 2 variants of each crashed car.

    Hey all!
     
    Today I'm gonna break my fingers and write suggestions about vehicles.
     
    But before we start:
     
    DISCLAIMER: some of ideas may already be suggested before or already planned by developers (pls don't beat me).
     
    First of all — separated engine parts.
     
    We shouldn't be able to repair engine by disassembling another engine for unknown parts and randomly put them in our engine. Engine is the most important part in the car, and if it's damaged, you can't just repair it. 
    If you have a damaged part, your overall engine condition will fall and it will break eventually. Here's an example of some parts: oil filter, carburetor, engine pistons. 
    Along with previous suggestion I think that it would be great to add motor oil and antifreeze.
     
    Next suggestion is to divide car parts to more groups such as Sedan, jeep, micro bus, truck e.t.c . I.e: front door type standart, group hatchback. It will make sense because you can't actually remove trunk lid of sedan and attach it to jeep.
     
    Third suggestion is... Different transmissions and ability to change gears.
     
    I've already done this suggestion before, but I want it to be here also.
    Everything is pretty simple: if your car have manual transmission and you want to drive faster, you need to change gear to a higher one. If your car have automatic transmission, you don't need to do it. However, if you want to park your car/go backwards, you need to change gear to "reverse"/parked/neutral at both situations.
     
    Fourth suggestion — add more fuel types.
    Won't write a poem here, so let's just say that cars like trucks should use diesel, standart cars like sedans should use, let's say, 95 e.t.c.
     
    Next one — a bit different car inspection.
    Character should walk around the car, inspect all the parts and then he can know their condition. However, a low leveled mechanics can know only approximate condition of a part. A person with a 0 level of mechanic skill shouldn't even know part's condition beside parts which condition you can see clearly (like doors, hoods, trunk lids).
     
    Sixth suggestion — more details on cars.
     
    Some details that isn't very noticeable, but will look pretty neat. I.e: smoke coming out of exhaust pipe, ability to turn on turn signals/emergency signals, wipers that increase your field of view while it's raining e.t.c.
     
    Even more suggestions! More ways to dump our car.
     
    Currently, we can't eff up our car that badly so it won't start anymore, so cars seem invincible.
    Here's some ways to dump car I want to have :
    If you aren't good at drifting, your car should do a barrel roll while skidding; crashing at high speed must destroy your wheels, front and some engine parts; if you good at mechanics, you should be able to break someone's brakes which can lead to funny situations; drifting should severely damage your tires.
     
    The list may be continued!
     
    Small suggestions list:
    You should not be able to try start car if the last attemp wasn't successful and there's still a sound playing.
    Zombies should be able to pull you out of the vehicle and get In vehicle through the windows.
    Players' bodies shouldn't fall out the car — they should stay in a car.

    he would be able to open in three ways:
    -by finding matching key
    -by prying with crowbar

    Books are named in one of two ways, by skill first (cooking for beginners), or by level first (expert cooking). I'd like to suggest all books be skill first so they are sorted more conveniently in the inventory.
