    Or you find investors.  With this miraculous thing called the Internet...people have figured out they can skip the banks or losing a % of their company/future profits by getting thousands of investors to invest small amounts in their product.  

    I'm quite sure in the "Golden Age" of video gaming I paid more for a games and got less hours out of it.  And I'm old enough to have started out as a kid on a Colecovison and a Commodore 64.

    Maybe you should try less video games, and more getting outside.

    Oh my stars and bars.  It's not that serious.  The game comes with a disclaimer when you buy it.  And they should take a further step of going to MONTHOIDs to replace mondoids.

    Nope. Has to be a pit bull or Rottweiler.  Then after you make the armor it's like and invisible ranged attack.  But the dog takes damage over time. So you have to heal them.  Recipe in the Veterinarian book.

    Firstly the smelter, my friend badly burnt his head whilst using it, from what i could find he needs to be wearing a firemans outfit to protect him? Is this correct or are there other items that could be used.

     

    And dogs, we have found some herding dogs and hunting dogs and even an attack dog.  I guess you just carry the Herding and Hunting but how does the attack dog work please? Or how do i make it work.

    Short answer. You need to make war dog armor for the either a rotty or pit bull.

    I had hoped that the car update would make it so they don't teleport all over the place making them impossible to play with, but it seems the streaming fix for cars doesn't do anything to help them. Suggestion is to just simply make them practical and work correctly in multiplayer rather than teleporting all over the place.

    And imagine how awesome if you could set the percentage of sprinters in the total population to be sprinters.  In SP or MP.   Poop your pants stuff right there.

It would be awesome for the Devs if they put a line by line explanation of everything on the Ini and Vars files.  Instead of guessing and trial and error.  It's mostly done.  Especially when some things are IRL hours and others are Game hours.  Like Zombie spawning.  I assume it's game hours, but I don't know.

    Everyone else will spawn if they are added to safehouse.  But the character that owns the safehouse won't spawn in it.

    You are doing it correctly.  I think the last Base game update caused a bug with filling containers from other containers of water if you look through the forums. Several players have stated they can't fill water bottles from cooking pots now.

    It's based on how old the server time is.  So it would effect everyone.

    You can check it out on how it works on the Dead Pixels server. You can chat in game from Discord.  We've had it for over a year.  We also started the factions idea too.  Thanks for the shout out though.

    You have to place the cone down where you want the Trading post to be.  Once you create it, it weighs a 1000lbs.  So you can't place it on the ground unless you use the following technique that would fix the forklift in car problem. 

    Ground can only hold 50 lbs.  So some hydro things weigh up to 1000lbs.  When you get containerception you have to be an admin with cheat mod.   This will give you the ability to create an "Infinite Carryweight" token.  You can place that on the ground to pull out heavy items and then they can be lightened for players to pick back up.   Or you can put them in bags to transport heavy objects you want to move. 

     

  12. Go to your ini file.  On the mods line put in Hydrocraft.  Then I want to say in the workshop line put the workshop Id number.  Hydro straits with 420.  It's on the steam workshop.  I'll post the exact things you need when I get home from work.

    The game has a very severally limited SP play time.  The game has been granted a large stay of execution by MP, mods and admins.

    So it dawned on me on the ride home.  Smithing is not Hydrocraft.  It's part of the Base game. And the reason you don't see the skill is because some of the smithing and metal crafting was left out.  Some people thought it was too unrealistic, too minecrafty.   But the code for some of it is still there. In case maybe they decide to add it back in later maybe?

    Because there isn't a Blacksmithing skill.  There are other books to read to make items such as sledgehammers,swords,armor, ingots, etc.   Some also have other reqs to make as well such as min levels of blade or blunt mx to create items.   Blacksmithing book isn't listed on the most current Hydrocraft wiki (granted I'm searching on my phone).  So I'd look in the Hydro Mod files to see if it's part of any recipes.  It might be one of those items that will be useful in later updates.  If you have the book, it should tell you what recipes it enables if you hover over it in your inventory.  Or if it just reduces boredom.

    Check the hydrocraft wiki.  I think Blacksmithing only opens up certain recipes, it's not one of the skill books per say.   I'll look after work.

    New Denver overlaps Muld. You would have had to manipulate the files to not have that overlap or have done a fresh start on Terminus.

    It's Dead Pixels.  Terminus was wiped and ended almost 6 months ago. 

     

    New Denver map was updated to not overlap anymore a few days ago. That's why I added it back. Maybe it'll start re-spawning  after a bit like the vanilla maps did last reset. I simply added the mod ID/name/number.  No file manipulation. 

     

    I also lucked out out and didn't have to wipe Rosewood after the PZ update to fix loot respawn there.  It just started working after the fix.

    Isn't there already servers running with most/all of these different maps working as they should? There isn't anything that can be done to the mod map itself to make the map behave differently between single player and multiplayer games.

    I just added New Denver the other day, straight from steam. No file manipulation to get it on.   It doesn't appear to be respawning loot currently But there is the initial loot spawn.    Previous to the the last few updates only Bedford/South Muld/New Denver were custom maps that were fixed to respawn.

    South Muld/Bedford  loaded jacked up on my server, so I can't say anything about those.  

    New Denver loaded fine.  It's set to 6hr respawn.  I've pulled some things and no one has been out there and it's not respawning currently.
