Walther reacted to syfy in Carnival/Clown Zombies
could be a bit of a freakout to have a clown zombie come after you, but it kind of seems that would fall in the "No Special Zombies" category.
now, we have a person who has already created some custom skins for Spiderman, Captain America, Spiffo and Scorpion.
he may just see this and decide to make a clown or two.............maybe.

Walther reacted to Rathlord in Animals?
Heya Zach, good question! There's a variety of animals planned- everything from wild animals like deer and coyotes to dogs and maybe even cats. There's no set in stone list quite yet, but it is something that's in the works. I know for a fact rabbits were being worked on a while ago!

"... those were special days to me, being allowed to drink, being allowed to drive, being allowed to fuck, being an 'adult'."
Now we are talking.

Who's the creep now, huh?

You'd think so.
Wait until we have an age rating. We might have to boot you out.
Probably not.
Maybe.

Walther reacted to uberevan in How old are you
22-30 is covering 8 years while 13-17 is 4 and 18-21 is 3 which seems inconsistent for good information. 31 and up makes sense since most people above 40 weren't in this generation of gaming

Walther reacted to Aardman55 in Gorier Zombies
This mod makes the zombies look a bit more brutal, they have more wounds on their body and the areas around their eyes have been darkened to give a walking dead-esque decay effect.
Make sure the zombies are set to 3D, or else this wont work / show up!
Personally, I think these changes are, when the zombies are fully clothed, rather subtile but still give me a scarier athmosphere, seeing eyeless zombies and ones with their whole face ripped apart

Also, I haven't tested yet, but:
These skins do NOT work in multiplayer when you use them as a MOD. That's for sure.
However, (I haven't tested yet!) if you just move the skin files over to your project zomboid folder (the one where the executables are), then they SHOULD show up in multiplayer too.
If you do that, make sure to backup your files, if you grow tired of my skins some day you dont have to reinstall the whole game

Yeah but if I get to 34 then I've beaten Jesus at living. Thats the true victory.

Walther reacted to Connall in Custom Member Titles
Don't. Once you go from member to advance member, and become a bit known in the forum then one of the mods will usually come up with a title based on your postings. It's a nice little thing, lets you know you been noticed.

Walther reacted to RobertJohnson in RELEASED: Build 27
Thanks for the spelling error
The world filler tiles will reflect as much as possible what's in the container, , but as you can see in the screenshot, you recognize box or something, but don't know really what's in them, we just avoid to spawn clothing tiles in the pharmacy for example (they share the same shelves), hope I'm clear

Walther got a reaction from Reveson in Zombie traps / Defence
Dont forget the old rake trap.
sorry
but seriously, those are some good concepts and ideas. I'd maybe add something that alarms you (even though this might lure more of them there...) like empty cans that chime when a zombie trips over a wire

Walther got a reaction from Viceroy in Waffles vs Pancakes

Walther reacted to EnigmaGrey in So was there supposed to be a movie theater and mall somewhere?
Isometric does mess terribly with my sense of cardinal direction.

Walther reacted to lordixi in How old are you
Not in my case. Because I always answer him: "No. Your young eyes will suffer from computer. Let's better <read "Wizars of Oz" / play into "Bruce Lee and Karim Abdul Jabbar" / build a car from constructor / go to a child-town near the house / go to a fishing / ...and so on>". -

Walther reacted to TheStoryteller in Idle Animations
Idle Animations
Orientation: Singleplayer(?)/Multiplayer
TL;DR: Idle animations within the game for certain activities.
Two of the best things in video games - in my opinion - are both realism and RP elements. I love being able to BE my character when I'm in the game, with other people around me being their characters as well. This is a simpler idea, depending on how you look at it. When I refer to idle animations, I'm talking about if you're running around in the woods, and decide to sit down for a while. The animation doesn't stop until you want it to. I don't know, I just imagine a group of friends sitting around a campfire for the night, the soft glow of the fire illuminating everyone as they sit and talk.
Example: Will and Ted are with their survival group, everyone is sitting in chairs in the meeting room, talking about their next move. After a long, and very helpful group chat, Will stands at the door to will his group farewell as they go out to work. He shakes hands (I realize some animations would just be arduous to code/sprite/make shortcuts for, but whatever works for the game. Some animations could work for certain singleplayer situations, but this would mostly be a multiplayer feature) with everyone, waving as they all exit the room.

Walther got a reaction from Johnny in Mall hype?! What will you do?
I'll run screaming in front of the door and spam Q, hopefully my char only gose "oh my god oh my god oh my god..."
then I'll die shopping/looting in the mall. but I'll throw as much characters at the mall as it needs me too in my sandbox, then I start making it my beach.
