    Hello guys, once more im here building stuff for all of you map makers, i hope you guys enjoy what i have been working on
     
    i will be updating every 3 or 4 days; for me not to spam this thread..anyways hope you all enjoy them

    Fort Muldraugh [[or what ever you want to name it i dont mind]]
     
    Originally was build in 1960 during the cold war, it served as a bomb shelter, but later was closed due to the West and East peace treaty.
     
    In the beginning of the outbreak, the Governor of Kentucky order it to be reinstated for the purpose  of  getting people to safety in it then; later sending them in helicopter North to a safer place. After 3 weeks of operating a CH-47 came and picked up the General and 7 soldiers left out of the 30 who were there initially. The soldiers left the main gate locked and well barricaded to prevent infected and looters from getting in. Some survivors have said the military might come back and stay another month to get the last pocket of survivors out, but this is just rumors survivors got going; I wouldn't blame them hope is the last thing that dies right? And if it wasnt the case why would the military abandon food, shelter and weapons? Or did they just give up after so many incidents of civilians sniping the Kentucky National Guard troops?. The Fort contains several rooms: The Generals bedroom, Infantry Barracks, Armory, Intel- mission planning room, food storage, Medical room, Mess Hall, Bathrooms, and the Entrance building. The soldiers would take shifts 24/7 to walk the nest (top part)  and see if any survivor would show up to  get them to safety, several soldiers got killed by sniper fire from anarchists roaming the streets......some say there's no way in due to the front main door been locked, but i tell you there is one way but its up for you all to find it    (and if you do, post a video in youtube  )

    The Residence:
     
    The Residence of the Senator, during the outbreak, the senator left in his private plane with his family, the house was left but security stayed behind to protect it. Some looters knocked the main gate to go in and loot, but were recieved by lead by the security. The weeks went by and the security personal all abandoned the house.. the place is still intact no one has dared to go back, or maybe they just ignore the place?
     

     

     
    The old War Hardware Factory
     
    it was used back in the beginning of Vietnam as a Bullet factory to send overseas to the U.S troops, it close right after the war.
     
    ​During the beginning of the outbreak many families came over to stay, after it was designated a safe zone by city officials. Local Police left 3 officers to protect the families from attacks of infected or looters. they had food supply for 3 months but they didn't last 1 month. Infected population grew dramatically the first two weeks, and  the officers in charge of security fled to look for their families; living the civilians unsecured. The survivors barricaded the main entrance, but still wasn't enough to stop the infected. Someone or several people might of been bitten inside, because the infected never took down the doors or the main gate barricade. It has been abandoned since..

    The Truck Stop: Contains a Mechanic shop, Burger Place, Convenience Store and a Power Washer. Inside the Store, has showers to Accommodate any truck drivers coming from long hauling rides...

    New style of homes
     
    these are the type of homes found on the road to another town, or on the outskirts of a town. Most of these houses have a water well system and dont require of city sewer pipes. 
     

     
     

     

     

     

     
    The Hospital
     
    When the outbreak started, this place was one of the most affected, many died in their beds or in the waiting room. The problem was they never died, they would resurrect and attack others. Panic took over the staff and people inside the hospital, police were to busy with the riots, the only ones who came to aid was the Kentucky National Guard. The order was simple clean the hospital and destroy everything and anything. The KNG set up fences and boxes to prevent further escapees, but they were loosing to many men. 1 week later all left were the infected and no one with vital signs of life. KNG fenced in the main entrances, but looters found a way in.

    Spoiler [NEW STUFF]
    Added a mouseover tooltip for the plants to quickly check the water lvl of your plants, need at least farming lvl 2, picture You can now close kill jaw stab the zombies with a screwdriver (act like a kitchen)  
    [bUG FIX]
    Fixed save compatibility problem (when loading a build 27 saved game). Fixed the marksman trait (police officer) not taking in calcul. Fixed crafting bug : when you have only 1 bowl you had the option to split the soup into X bowls, making the bowls disapear. Fire can start from stove again. No more automatical fire start when puting a campfire inside a house (but a lit campfire will burn the house down). Remove the world filler when burning the item. Fire lighting are back. Fixed the "spill gravel/sand/dirt" on ground not working when not having a hammer in your inventory.

    Slight decrease of the time needed to aim with every guns. Slight increase of the pistol base hit chance.

    [NEW STUFF]Weapon overhaull (more things in the info post will come). Multiple text lines editor. You can now write a note and read them (more of a multiplayer thing), you can lock them so they'll be editable only by you. Semi-3D Sound ! Sound will now go left to right, fade away, etc.. Burn zombie corpses ! It'll need some petrol and a lighter/matches. Windows can now perma lock if you try to open them for too long. Bandages will now be removed after a certain amount of time. Disabled the corpse decay. Added experimental population management: after an area is abandoned by the player, new zombies will migraite slowly from this point. I'll need feedback on it. [MP] Added experimental loot respawn, you have to setup the serverOption "HoursForLootRespawn", if you set it as 48, it mean the zone will have to be unseen for 48 in game hour before loot respawning, same as zombies respawn, I'd LOVE to have feedback on it I'm also working on (idk if it'll be done for this build tho..) the ability to paint letters/text on wall. New crafting : Bookcase, shelves, bed... Map fixes (no more falling through Mall stairs, etc...). Weapon upgrades (fully moddable), they'll come alone at the gunstore, or directly mounted on some weapons, you need a screwdriver to put them in/out. Firearm need to be held with 2 hands (except pistol). [MP] You will be now instant disconnect if trying to join a server with a different build version than yours. Added paintable signs (skull, arrows..) over wall or post sign (new crafting) for every in game painting color (you need a paint brushe and the color you want). Zombeis who die by fire will now continue to burn/spread fire after their death. [MP] If you have a dice you can now do /roll 6 (number up to 100) to roll a random number, this will be shown to every near players. Picture [MP] If you have a card deck you can now do /card to draw a random card, this will be shown to every near players.     Fixed some incorrect map zone. Fixed some incorrect loot distribution. Fixed tent/campfire couldn't be build on tall grass. Fixed some world filler. Map exported with multiple fixes from Mash. Zombies can't jump over closed/barricaded windows anymore. Hammer will now correctly be equipped (if required) before crafting something. [bALANCE]
    Increased the difficulty to open windows when you're not strong. Increase a bit the spawn of twine (specially inside the sewing shop). Bait for trapping will now use only 5 hunger reduction from the food you use as bait, also fixed minors things on trapping. Lowered a lot the time required to cook bacons.

    man, but its alright,, your mod is really cool, it gives it a more zombie feeling having them all bloody. The only thing the zombies are missing is having them wear military uniforms, police, paramedics, doctors, city workers, etc... that make my life complete  . But overall combo breaker keep it up man, your mod is lovely!

    Yaaaaay! It’s Monday again! It’s probably going to be another fairly short and sweet “wot we’re up to” blog post this week, but there is a video. Not exactly the most tremendously exciting video you’ve ever seen, but a video none-the-less.


    NPCs
    This continues to thunder ahead. While we are still not ready to tip our hand with the NPC development, they are getting more and more solid as time goes on. Lemmy has been busy with adding a ton of behaviors into the NPCs brains, layered on each other with quite intricate priorities and behaviour sub-trees that mean that, for example, if an NPC requires an item, they will not only check their own backpack, their safehouse, or look out for the object on looting missions, but will also consider any ingredients that can be used to craft said items.

    Basically, NPCs have the power to be completely aware of all crafting recipes and can just ‘desire’ an item and make it so. They can use backpacks flawlessly now, and may even have partaken in a little tree chopping and log sawing! There’s plenty more but we’ll save that for a later date. That said Binky did take a little time out from the map making to help the NPC cause by coding up a little zombie avoidance system in C# that Lemmy will port into the game. Since we’re nice here is a lovely video!




    It’s a little hard to see in the video, but in the top-left corner is a counter for the number of times our heroic little green dot has found itself within scratching range – the fact that this number stays at zero is, therefore, really promising and does not indicate a bug with the scratch detection. I know this for certain, because the first version of the avoidance code saw this number climb to about 1,000 in about a minute. So that code was swiftly burned and replaced.

    As you might glean from seeing the dots move around, little green dot fella is trying its damnedest to reach its little blue dot goal. In an in-game scenario, where the NPC will be trying to get will change depending on many, many factors – so they won’t be prone to stubbornly trying to get somewhere ridiculous, such as the middle of about 200 zombies. Also, unlike this green dot, NPCs will be capable of engaging and killing zombies. So this video in many ways represents a “worst case scenario” especially since in this test-bed, zombies have perfect line-of-sight visibility and only stop chasing the green dot when they’re extremely far away.


    Map Expansion
    Development on the map is going at a nice pace, with the trio Mash, Binky and Ringo all working at it. Mash recently made a building that’s a little inhospitable due to the large number of infected types that congregated there in the early days of the outbreak. Binky also had to spend some time making sure there were exactly 18 of what he was making.


    The Bit At The End Where We Plug Stuff

    Good morning, today I bring this idea a while it occurred to me that Project Zomboid, is a game that has reached different parts of the world and many of us, especially those we love creating new things with mapping tools, we would like to include our banner in the game or in any building we create. 
     
      I say that would be great to see that kind of things that give it a touch of personality to every job we do, in my case I'm doing an embassy of Venezuela and is undoubtedly what distinguishes an embassy q is the flag of your country . 
     
    And I'm glad if been united in the zombie apocalypse a run to the embassy na lie lol I'm going to a gun shop .... 
     
    Anyway ... here'll give them to fellow fans q serve them some guidelines to make your flag.   
     
    Buenos días, hoy les traigo esta idea, desde hace rato se me ocurrió que Project zomboid, es un juego que ha llegado a distintos lugares del mundo y muchos de nosotros, en especial los que nos encanta crear cosas nuevas con las herramientas de mapeo, nos gustaría incluir nuestra bandera en el juego o en algún edificio que creamos.
     
     lo digo por que seria genial ver ese tipo de cosas que le dan cierto toque de personalidad a cada trabajo que hacemos, en mi caso estoy haciendo una embajada de Venezuela y es sin duda alguna, lo q distingue una embajada es la bandera de su país.
     
    Y yo con gusto si estoy en estado unidos en pleno apocalypsis zombie de una corro a la embajada jajaja na mentira me voy a una tienda de armas....
     
    En fin... aquí les daré a los compañeros fans unas guías que les servirán para hacer su bandera.

    If you like and want to do the same here will leave them a package of images of different flags of the world ... I hope to see one day an embassy with the flags of all fans of different countries represented in one building to include in the game Project Zomboid. Si les gusta y quieren hacer lo mismo aquí les dejare un paquete de imágenes de diferentes banderas del mundo...

    This mod makes the zombies look a bit more brutal, they have more wounds on their body and the areas around their eyes have been darkened to give a walking dead-esque decay effect.
    Make sure the zombies are set to 3D, or else this wont work / show up!
    Personally, I think these changes are, when the zombies are fully clothed, rather subtile but still give me a scarier athmosphere, seeing eyeless zombies and ones with their whole face ripped apart

    These skins do NOT work in multiplayer when you use them as a MOD. That's for sure.
    However, (I haven't tested yet!) if you just move the skin files over to your project zomboid folder (the one where the executables are), then they SHOULD show up in multiplayer too.
    If you do that, make sure to backup your files, if you grow tired of my skins some day you dont have to reinstall the whole game

    The vanilla skintones are waaay to yellow for my liking, so I changed all the white skin tones be more reddish / pink.
    Make sure you have the characters on 3d (players only is ABSOLUTELY necessary for this to work)

    Also, I made the underwear of the female skin a complete white, it was blueish before, and made 2 skins have white boxer shorts. Incase of a very hot summer day in multiplayer, you wont see every single person run around in the same black boxer shorts, lol

    I don't know how this will look in the editor, I haven't tried it out yet. Just made random dead corpses. I'll probably make more later on. Check it out and let me know.

    Dreadwood is being updated with a new layout! I apologize for the old map, but due to complications it's unworkable right now. Keep an eye out for updates. 
     
    Care to take a look at the large upper class houses in the suburban side of town? Beware of the dead who inhabit the once snobby area. Or perhaps you'll enjoy a stay at a five star hotel in the city? It may be your only safety in a city swamped in the dead. Those who get away from the population will find dangerous abandoned buildings, winding trails, and  trailer park homes. Wherever you so choose to stay..

    Hi guys and happy Mondoid! I'm back with a slightly slimmer update and a few pics.
     
    Here's another cell pic to start off (2,2)
     
    Here's a large church I finished a few days back. Nothing fancy, but it's at least something.
     
    Lastly here's an overview of what's been added to the map so far and therefore a guideline to what it will start to look like. This is the Vine Grove neighborhood.
     
     
    I've again finished 3 cells (seems to be the pace I'm getting into). And I've done about 10 new tiny houses that will hopefully meet with the map at some point in the future.
     
    I don't have time to update the OP atm (I have to sleep too you know!) so I'll edit this post when I've done that.
