I have to agree with all of this, while I like the idea of disease and rotting corpses I actually haven't even bothered playing iwbums yet because it looks kinda barebones and simple compared to other features that have been aded. Of course it's only early testing but I would like it improved.

     

    A triple + for bodybags, I could really use the sprite for my map and saves me making one xD

  2. I have got most sprites working in game now, The different colors really make a difference and give the game a fresh look for those who have been around for a long time and seen everything.

  3. Bump, I've just run into this same problem. I edit the Tileproperties.txt file but the new properties don't appear and i am missing some properties in the editor.

     

    Is there an updated Tileproperties.txt files?

     

  4. Hey Guys

     

    I' trying to make it so when my containers are looted they change to the empty state the same way that happens when you loot shelves/weapon cabinets.

     

    Here is a picture explaining what i want to do, I have looked in the tile definitions and not found any way to change it the same way windows do when broken, so i'm assuming it might be in a .lua file

     

    Anyone have an idea?

    With Louisville a still a while off I decided to take up the task of getting a good sized city into the game.

     

    Also, Yes the map does borrow the name from the last stand web browser games but otherwise has no relation :-)

     

    If anyone would like to help out with buildings, comment here or PM me.

     

    I don't have alot of time to work on the map these days, every now and then i will post updates though

    It has many buildings made by myself and other contributors, i have also made alot of custom tiles for the map.

  6. I figured out in order to use the "street decorations" tool you need both layers 0_Furniture and 1_Furniture, I can now place streetlights and the other objects using it which makes it much easier, it even tells you the distance from the last streetlight.

     

    However outdoor lighting still isn't working at all on the map.

     

    Edit: Figured out its as simple as street lights aren't working on the vehicle branch lol

  7. Does anyone know how to place streetlights in Tilezed, ive used the street decoration tool but can't figure out how to place them so they work in game? I click but nothing happens

  8. Here is a video of me testing the vehicles in a custom map, Its a bit more dense than the vanilla map.

     

    Around the highway big traffic Jam it runs pretty smooth staying around 50+ fps but when i enter into the town and drive around buildings it drops down to 30-40. On foot its 50-60 fps steady as you can see when i hope out of the van.

    For some reason when i turn corners my fps takes a huge hit at certain points going down to 12 fps at one point.

     

    Max zoom was 225% and i show what Graphics settings i had on at the start. I also tested it after this with Medium lighting with no compressed textures and i lost about 5 Fps

     

    GTX 1070

    i7 2700K

    16GB DDR3 1600mhz

    ParkingStall = This is a copy of the objects, but with a different name.

    Thanks, I've managed to get it working. Do you know if there is any way to make only police cars spawn in a certain area for EG. I have used special vehicles but the news van is showing up?

    Could you elaborate a bit more, I made the vehicle's file and Set coordinates on my map by looking at the West point file of how it is done, or is there some way to do it in editor, they still don't seem to spawn

  11. The police and ranger cars seem to behave like the sedans did the last build that i commented about, Easy enough to drift around but still easy enough to lose control if your not careful.

     

    They are alot of fun to drive, only problem i see is that all the vehicles brakes seem to be way too OP. Currently it seems like you can go 100km/h - 0 in 4 meters.

    I am currently creating a new map and have already made several new sprites, Looking for suggestions on what other popular/common American franchises you would like to see in game. So far i am considering the following but will add to this list.

     

    The simpler the logos the better.

     

    BestBuy

    Mc'Donalds

    Wallmart

    Gamestop

    KFC

     

    I will be re-doing my Mc'donalds sprites in x2, for now here is Bestbuy. This particular building itself was created by another forum member i just have updated some things and created the sign.

     

    Also looking for others to help with creating buildings to fill the map if anyone's keen to help out.

    Those were specifically for the ones i mentioned, the sedan last build was the most fun i've had with the vehicles branch overall though. The slowing down part on corners i mentioned was just for the sedan, all the others were either too much or too little spin out last build.

     

    Ive yet to test the police cars among others in the current build, Do they share the same physics with the other sedan models or are all the variations different?

  14. I don't like the way the vehicles handle since the update, I really liked the way the sedan handled last build. You could drift it with some practice but if you weren't careful you would still spin out. It was ALOT of fun to drive and would fit the sports car perfectly.

     

    You had to slow down on corners unless you were really good which had benefits if eventually you get injuries from crashing, Driving fast if your good but at the risk of crashing and injury, Or just taking it slow and safe at the cost of speed.

     

    The delivery van can turn almost 90 degrees at full speed in the current build if you slam the brakes then quickly steer in either direction and foot off the gas.

    Also the Mcoy logging truck drives like a tank lol
