If anyone would feel comfortable sharing the npc animal file as well I think I can create a decent npc mod by using both files as reference. In testing today I achieved similar results as Insayne and was able to get the npc to almost attack me, however I need some way to "tag" the npc as player or other method to get the zombies to attack the npc as well as attack methods for npc -> zombie. I also was successful in creating the guard command which makes npc react and ask where you want him to guard.

Hello,
I create a "patch" for hydrocraft 5.7, that include 3D weapons for the mod. I need help on debugging and testing.
I create a lot of the models, but some of them are based on free/without licence files that I found online. If someone think that I can't use some specific model, LET ME KNOW.
To cheat all the weapons, read the instructions (you can enable and disable the cheat mode via config files).
Some examples (not all weapons are in the picture, but all of them are in the patch ):

I think that I finished ALL the weapons. Please test this patch and let me know if I forgot to pack some texture or something is missing.

How to install: Just unzip and replace your hydrocraft mod folder with the hydrocraft folder in the zip file.
What did I change on original Hydrocraft files?: I only replace the WeaponSprite variable with my custom models (named exactly like their item):
for example: all this variables are changed using lua code, in the file 3DWeaponInjector.lua.
What files did I ADD?: lots of model and textures, and 2 lua scripts:
- client / 3DWeaponLoader.lua: It load all the models on memory.
- client / 3DWeaponLoaderCHEAT.lua: It contain a way yo cheat ALL the weapons for testing. To enable the CHEAT, edit the "local CHEAT_MODE = false" to "true", and then pressing the key END (ingame) and all the weapons will appear on your inventory.
- server / 3DWeaponInjector.lua: Inject all the new WeaponSprite values using my 3d models instead of placeholder objects. This guarantee compatibilities with future Hydrocraft versions.
Current "problems":
- The longbow looks funny when walking (PZ modding limitations, not my fault)
- All the FLAILS looks funny because I can't animate the CHAIN.
- There's lots of official bugs on animations, for example, if you walk strafing with A or D using something similar to a pistol, the weapon turn to the right looking awful... or when you walk the weapon will be rotated to the right. I can't fix that, it's PZ devs job .
- Maybe I forgot some weapon or some texture

Hey guys. I've been following Project Zomboid since the old days, and still remember reading about the teams early and sometimes dramatic troubles, such as bomb scares. The game has come on leaps and bounds since then, and I'm only beginning to delve into more recent changes.
That said, I've having a really frustrating problem. I'm a major Star Wars nerd, and for a personal project decided to see what it would be like to roleplay as a Jedi in PZ.
I've spent all day fiddling with text, code, mod.info files, item spawn mods, folders, and AFDFDBHAHABLARGH.
I'm trying to get this...

...to function in the current game, but it just won't play ball. Moreover I tried to make a 'recipe' that basically consisted of nothing so I could more or less spawn it immediately on a new character I was setting up for the RP. It was less than successful.

A mess, and I have no clue what any of it means, but after several hours of tutorials and ripping other mods to pieces it was the best I could come up with.
I was hoping someone more used to this would be kind enough to throw together a quick and dirty fix for the mod, with a recipe that consists of a piece of cloth or something? I can handle textures and such, to a degree, but I am tearing my hair out.

Hello survivors, wanted to reassure everyone I'm back at work on the new version of Dreadwood.
I know I've posted many progress updates in the past but this project is much bigger in comparison. To be constantly posting screens of the map isn't very productive as everything is constantly changing for the better. On top of that the maps size is now up to 64 cells (8x8 square) and I've plans for every last one of them to ensure each location is interesting and varied.
As for now my focus has been on flushing out all of the many roads and building the larger buildings I have planned. I've done my best to stay up to date on creative mode but I'm still not sure how much of an aid it will be creating all the residential homes I'm hoping it can. By far furnishing buildings is the most time consuming which is why I'd like to get my hands on creative before wasting any more time.
Otherwise I hope to get this map done and on the steam workshop this summer.
Here's a small mall I've been working on.
I've only worked with the vanilla tiles so any advice I give is just speculation. Anyways you'll have to arrange them on sprite sheets, make sure they're in the directories the editors look for the sprites in. Than in BuildingEd enter the Building Tiles screen (double click anything in Tiles and Furniture tab) to add your sprites into the game. I'm positive there's more to it as I've never done it.
Best advice I can give you though it to stay away from attempting any type of elevation. As the engine is for Zomboid it'll only be clunky and awkward. If I remember correctly elevation has been being discussed lately, weather or not it's to be added I cant confirm, but I'd suggest waiting if it is to be.

Let me show you the "unsolved Mysteries" Add On for Hydrocraft
Part 1 Bigfoot
You need
and (found through foraging)
Now you can use a Microscope and the Hair to get
put the Hairsamples into an empty Textbook
This part is a little bit tricky. Research first the Hair and get then the unknown Hair or get first the unknown and then research. I think it can be a little bit like ... found some Hair. Research with Microscope. Take the sample and use the Book to research wich kind of hair this is. When you get the unknown Hair you can hunt a Bigfoot.
Hmm Hair + Sample + Encyclopedia = Dog, Bear, Cat, Unknown Hair (maybe Human Hair) * empty Textbook = Furresearch
But some Hair should be unknown. This is need for hunting. Now you can hunt a Bigfoot but you only get this
(if you have Gypsum in inventory)
Hmm but hey we have a Cam so lets take a Photo
but we need a Workbench like this
to get the Photo
So we can have a "real" Photo or we take the Hair and go to the Taxidermy Table (WIP) to make this
with this and the cam we can make a Fake Photo.
Now with Photo, Footprint and Fur we can Build something like this
and with the Costume we can build this

The Game
POLYCRUSHER is a local multiplayer twin stick shooter for ultimate couch gaming. We are proud to present you this gourmet piece of a game which is mostly about chaos and explosions in a wave based gameplay. Gotta crush 'em all!
Fight with up to four friends against unlimited hordes of enemies. In order to survive epic boss battles you will need to unleash your characters unique special ability. Prove your team spirit to trigger your ultimate destruction weapon. Try to climb up the online highscore with your friends, but remember POLYCRUSHER will stress your friendship to the bitter end!

I downloaded the newest Hydrocraft, loaded it without any of my mods, and those Errors were there, it's Hydrocrafts errors, those errors will appear after all files in scripts have been loaded and it just so happens that my mods files were the last to get loaded in that scenario.
If there was some innate incompatibility between my mods and Hydrocraft, I'd know about it, because chances are good that 90% of people who use my mods also use Hydrocraft and I would be getting reports about incompatibilities at least twice a week if not here then on steam comments.
