I think it's supposed to be the other way around - we should be thanking you for not giving up after so many bad things that happened to you (The indie stone) in a row. Pulling through various hateful comments, the "incident", pirating issues, services forcing you to pay when a lot of people downloaded forum builds, all of those - I doubt your "average joe" would pull through it without saying "screw it, if you want it that way, we won't develop the game anymore. Enjoy".

any news about constant water source other than wells?

History told us that, water is the most important aspect of human survival and beginning of civilization.
We can live without food for a couple of days, but not without water.
 
Unfortunately, there are only 2 sources of unlimited water in the current map, "The Farmhouse" and the "I dunno".
 
If we are to thrive in the long run, then we should consider these limitless sources of water.
Scouts and Scavengers will be our main food suppliers for the early days.
While farmer and builder will immediately begin their work the moment we gathered enough construction and farming supplies.
And of course they must be guarded by all means.

I made a summary for my Black Sheep.
Black Sheep:
Infects zombies, turning them into sheep-zombies, which then bite other zombies, causing a zombie apocalypse for zombies.
Could provide you with meat and wool.
Would as Jethro said, serve as a sex-sheep, for when you get lonely in you safe house.

And when we shave the beard hair off, we can use it to make a Meat Effigy which will revive us upon death OH SHIT WRONG GAME
 
But yeah, not gonna say no to the inclusion of shaving off the excess hair.

Update: I've got it to run in 64-Bit. But it still crashes, same problem.

Just wondering, since rain barrels are being implemented to collect rain, why can't we simply put a cooking pot, or a bucket, water can, etc outside, and have that collect rain?
 
I'm guessing that you're using rain barrels at first to test for bugs, then implementing my suggestion in the update after 2.9.9.11...?

Sheep could be useful, yeah. We'd need to try and get new clothing at some point, and the wool would be pretty useful.
 
Goats be awesome. I'd definitely prefer them over cows in a survival situation like this. Their milk has a different chemical structure and as such there isn't as much need to pasteurize it. They can eat plants that most other herbivores would be poisoned by. They have one of the widest diet ranges of farming animals so they can eat most anything, but they prefer eating woody shrubs or off of trees so they wouldn't interfere too much with the grazing habits of other animals if you have a bit of woodland area fenced off inside your survivor compound.
