Sadly you are cannibalised by the former members of Metallica whilst seeking sanctuary in a tour-bus by the road-side, since all plants are gone and the bunnies are immortal no other food is available...

Speculating on people's sexual alignment is skirting the be lovely line, guys. Please don't make me take out the ban hammer again, it's been so long since I've used it it's actually started gathering dust.

After only a couple hours? Damn, man. That's a truly MASSIVE amount of bad luck in your case, since it's completely possible to wander around the overworld for dozens of hours without ever actually happening across the main storyline. I know I sure didn't. I must have gone and done ten or twenty different side quests before ever moving on to the main story quest in Fallout 3 and I was never unlucky enough to happen across the gas station accidentally.
 
Granted, if you knew where it was from the beginning and want to get the story over with there's nothing stopping you from actually heading straight there and skipping all the other quests that lead up to it, since they were all just "Find Dad" type of quests anyway.

I a whole I prefer New Vegas out of 3 or NV.
 
 
 
Enigma hit the nail on the head right here, allot of people prefer fallout 3 for whatever reason but I find Fallout NV is more along the lines of what Fallout 1 & 2 were - granted it isn't a good old isometric RPG but it's still closer because it brought back perks and traits like the original 2 did, unlike in 3 where you just got a level up, choice of perk and a few skill points.. I also love the weapon modification they have in NV, a nice little refreshing change there.
 
Also the voice acting was terrible in 3 because lets face it, if your only kid disobeyed you and left the vault would you or would you not be angry they left / but happy to see they saved your ass? I highly doubt a father in that situation would speak in a calm, neutral tone of voice like he does in the scene were you save him.

How'd we get onto the topic of Fallout?

I liked them both, but New Vegas was better overall. Was kinda disappointed with hardcore mode, though. It didn't quite feel brutal enough.

Los Vegas was bombed -- just not as significantly as other areas.
You . . . do realize New Vegas is supposed to be set hundreds of years after the war, right? Not, like in Fallout 3, 20 years after (don't care what Bethesda says, that's what it looks like). Even in Fallout 2, the world was rebuilding and organizing, but in Fallout 3 that's thrown out.
And your entire backstory ceases the matter once you step outside of the vault in Fallout 3, just as it ceases to matter in New Vegas once you take a bullet to the brainpan. The only difference is you don't wonder around saying "I'm looking for a middle aged man" to sum it up.

6. Whats the strangest disorder you have come across? Have you encountered any of the following - Aboulomania (inability to decide), Boanthropy (thinking they're a cow) Alien Hand Syndrome (rogue hand) or Capgras Syndrome (thinking a loved one has been replaced with an identical impostor)?
 
 
In any case I enjoyed the blog!!

Focusing on the cognitive aspects of things such as language, memory and vision. Takes a less hardline biological view then neuropsychology but sometimes strafes into it. Also does not focus on topics related to social psychology. Basically it's more to do with nature rather than nurture, but with less of a focus on physiology then neuropsych.Oh and onto, sorry I didn't keep my psychology thread going, got bogged down with Uni work and you were the only one that seemed interested
Edit: But cognitive psychology does not discount the importance of social factors and the environment in determining said cognitions. Such as environmental factors are very important in determining which phonemes a person can recognise in language, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (NHS' go-to psychotheraphy) focuses partly on teaching people how to dispel, control and change problematic cognitions for things such as phobias.
