  1. If you analyze and compare the two lores, you start to see really big differences, for example, in the TWD lore, zombies have been seen clawing, tearing, and punching humans and animals. They also have the ability to ''dodge'' (in this case slightly leaning out of the way of a melee attack),lift up their arms to defend themselves, and even go to the extent of holding onto possessions they had before dying and using them to their advantage. As Brooks and Romero zombies are not capable of logic or reasoning, they only respond to hunger. Maybe they do smell you. Maybe they do hear you, while you are sneaking behind their back. It's just that they're too ''dumb'' to react to it. They are uncapable of thinking ''Hey, I hear footsteps, shouldn't we go and check out what's going on?''. They only go for you when they know it's you for sure. The reason because you can sneak by them so easily is the previous reason added to the fact that their body is constantly decomposing. Without the ability to fabricate new cells, I'm pretty sure their eyesight would deteriorate with the passing of time. After all, who are any of us to question the lore the devs put in the game? It's their game after all, and they can make zombies fly if they want to. It's always good to compare games to make them better, but if it means to change something so critical to PZ which in turn is the lore, then there's not much benefit to it.
  2. I hope I'm not interrupting, but... Also, I'd like to point out that the PZ lore follows the Brooks and Romero lore, and not the TWD lore, for those that you may not know.

  4. Plot twist! Your grandmother was the quiet kid all along.
  5. You are most likely to drown in your own bathtub while being conscious/awake than you are to be struck by lightning. Ofc, being in the middle of a storm makes it more likely to be struck. But overall, I think it would be a pretty useless addition.
  6. Skyrim-styled fast travel is not a bad idea at all. You travel to said place but time still passes on, which makes tracking people way more realistic. However, the downside is that this is impossible in MP. I like to think that the devs want to make vehicles a key feature in the game. And if it isnt in multiplayer, it means it isn't exactly a key feature. Take sleeping for example. It doesn't have the spot it deserves, being squashed by thirst and hunger, the most basic needs in survival. A character that doesn't sleep is unrealistic, and it takes a surprising portion of the immersion in MP roleplay. As for boats, there already is a road across Salt River and over to Orell. You could cross the Ohio River to get to hunting grounds, but I doubt that the law is going to ask for a hunting permit in the middle of the apocalypse.
  7. Ban Lucy for believing in a Pacman that is too big to move around.
  8. I think you mean that he didn't know he was injured. If that's the case, I never got myself in this situation. If the injured, in pain and bleeding moodles don't alert me that I'm bleeding to death, the trail of blood or the reduced movement speed will. However, I don't mind this addition. Besides, I don't think that adding an extra sprite and some coding be that troublesome.
  9. sleep quality was suggested but i do like where you are going with it. Fixed.
  10. They actually do, but it's about a 20% chance for dropping 2-5 nails.
  11. I like it. +1. Though, if I recall correctly, you can see through some doors. Just not all of them (Excluding the ones that don't have any opening or transparent layer to look through, ofc.). Onward!
  12. What about rings? You can't exactly punch in PZ.
  13. I searched for this suggestion and didn't find it, so excuse me if it was already suggested. For me, waking up is a real bummer, even if i didn't do much during the day or slept more than enough hours. If i was in the middle of a zedpocalypse, that would be a huge disadvantage. I suggest adding more sleep traits, considering that we only have 3. (Night Owl doesn't count since it doesn't do anything as of v32.) For example, I can sleep almost wherever i want, with little difference than sleeping on a bed (Got used to it after being a Scout for 15 years). However, my friends cannot. They can't even sleep in a chair comfortably. This means that if a zombie outbreak were to happen, I'd have (and other people with similar sleeping preferences) a huge advantage on people who are so used to the comfort of their bed. This means that my habits of sleeping have an advantage (Able to sleep almost anywhere) and a disadvantage (Difficulties for waking up). This can also lead to traits of better sleeping quality (If sleep quality is ever to be added) and even a mild state of narcolepsy and Insomnia.
  14. I doubt zombies are smart enough to track where you are inside your base. Mostly they would just go in by any means possible. However, one thing that could be fixed due to this suggestion is how zombies keep banging on doors/windows/walls while there are dozens of entrances to your base at their proximity. I know this is kind of contradictive, but while zombies may have the smarts to identify an entrance, i don't think they may be able to pinpoint your location without seeing you directly, if all this takes place in Survival mode of course. We humans are not made for hunting and tracking prey efficiently, and zombies can barely walk. Their tracking skills have decreased severly, which is shown as their extremely low line of vision, slow movement speed and poor hearing.
  15. The infection is not a bacteria, so it can't be exactly ''cleaned''. Think of it as getting a shot of blood infected with HIV. Clean it all you want, but the infection is already running through your veins. However, after you get bitten, you have a 2% chance to survive, which is quite nice if you think about it.
  16. ''Why, hello there, neighborino!'' -My friend before failing 13 shots at a zombie that was right infront of him, only to be instantly mauled by 4 zombies that were behind him.

  18. Or maybe just going full Skyrim and make a list of favorite items that the player can select.
  19. The blade would break if you did that. Also, a common kitchen knife can't cut through a skull that easily. The human skull has particularly weak areas, but it still has some resistance. While yes, the whole blade-twisting thing is very effective when stabbing the neck of a human being for making an even bigger wound in your common carotid artery or even a part of your aorta, the whole point of killing a human being by a stab in the neck is mostly to cut a major artery in your neck, or stab your throat. Even when slicing the throat to not let air get to your lungs, most of the time you die because you bleed out, and not because of loss of air (Most people die after 3-4 minutes without oxygen, but because of the blood loss you die after 2 minutes). However, because apparently zombies don't really need to breathe in PZ, If the character somehow knew the exact anatomy of the brain, he could put his blade at the indent at the base of the zombie's skull (bone is thin there) and slam upward at a 45-degree angle. This scrambles the zombie's medulla oblongata (Which contains the cardiac, respiratory, vomiting and vasomotor centers and therefore deals with the autonomic or involuntary functions of breathing, heart rate and blood pressure) and the motor senses are cut off immediately, thus killing the zombie almost instantly.

  21. I'm not saying every wound should make you angry. If you had broken glass in your arm, you would mostly be more worried about removing it than using the angry moodle to your advantage. For example, if NPCs were to insult or rob you, that would make you angry. It would make your character way more dependant on human interaction and other things. Regarding human interaction, yes, about every moodle should take effect on it. However, i wanted to suggest the angry moodle because it's such a basic emotion in a human being and it's not yet implemented. Also, maybe we can bring the Short Tempered trait back from the dead while we're at it. Also, i pictured that the accuracy debuff was way bigger than the speed+damage buff. Yes, you deal more damage with melee weapons, but still, every person has a limit. No matter how pumped up you are in combat, eventually, your wounds overpass your rage, and the speed/damage buff becomes absolutely useless. Picture it as if it was a way to make escaping a horde a bit easier.
