  1. I like the re-usable grills idea, I love the idea of head torches. And instead of purifying rainwater, why not just draw water from the lake in West Point and purify that, if we're speaking hypothetically here.
  2. This is incredibly awesome. Devs, what has been seen cannot be unseen, please give us amazing shadows with the 3D build. Also, that's a nice fortress you've built on the roof.
  3. Excellent ideas. I think this would add a perfect dose of immersion and make clearing buildings all the more fun and interesting. Good thoughts, now to see if the devs will do anything with it.
  4. Interesting. I think these traits seem good and not too overpowered.
  5. For the raging zombie suggestion I doubt that'll be added, as the devs have said no to special zombie types. The idea of "smarter" zombies is interesting, though I would feel cheated if I've barricaded up my safehouse for one zed to come up and open the door and let his friends in.
  6. From my experience the North Farm is usually clear of zeds (though in insane population it may differ). It makes a great base camp, lots of open area for farming, uninterrupted view of the surrounding area to watch for zombies, plus it's within reasonable range of the large warehouse, and far enough away from the urban center to avoid random hordes migrating through for the most part.
  7. Hopefully the devs will get this out (sometime) soon. Found it strange how you can equip a duffelbag on your bag and see no sign of it existing.
  8. Excellent, I will survive with my sugary ring of deliciousness.
  9. Hopefully we'll finally see the update where you can sit on a chair. Imagine. No more standing and staring blankly at a wall; now you can be seated and contemplate the wall with more conviction.
  10. This would fit for the binoculars . So if you have none (or no rifle with scope) you can't "attack/stealth"zoom anymore. Good idea. I always found it odd how your character could throw his vision way down the road or far away from himself without any tools (like binoculars). Must be using his innate scrying powers to watch the horde far down the main road.
  11. Now that I've heard it I love the idea of a workbench - somewhere you can put your saw, hammer, etc. Store it there and when you use the workbench it contains all the crafting options of the tools that you've put there (i.e. can saw logs at it if you've put a saw on it / create furniture items to be placed later if you have hammer, nails, etc. on it).
  12. 1. How I would like to survive a Z.A (in game and in the unlikely event of real life is) is mainly camping in the woods or mountains (I have experience in outdoor survival) and staying overnight in country houses and cabins, I would never really like to be permanently settled anywhere, I'm more of the guy who would always be on the move, 2. For the sleeping bag thing, I would better like them than tents because, I don't know, indoors, sleeping bags just seem better. Plus they could also act for other purposes. 3.A pickaxe would be a cool weapon, also they could be used to split logs I guess, and to dig, when I was in secondary school (not to long ago) they had a pickaxe in the storage shed that students over the age of 15-16 would use to keep the school grounds level and tidy (under the supervision of teachers) Don't know if it would be legal to have a pickaxe in a school in the US though 1. Nomadic. Different than most people barricading themselves up in a house. Could work. 2. I agree that sleeping bags would be better than tents indoors, but I'm not sure if the devs are going to make sleeping bags as tents serve sort of the same purpose, just look different. 3. I think that a pickaxe would make a pretty sweet weapon, and could used for some sort of excavation / terraforming (we'll have to wait until 3D terrain for that I'd think). And yeah, I don't think a pickaxe in any school in the US for student use would be legal (maybe somewhere really loose on the rules, but nowhere that I've seen personally).
  13. Rightfully so! I would like to report this post to a moderator, the poll is so obviously rigged. Science proves Waffles are superior to pancakes in just about every way. True science
  14. Level 5 Desk Sitting

  15. Like these gifs, hope they'll continue. We can always use more of a certain friendly community raccoon. Keep up the good work Zedhead.
  16. These are perfect. Keep up the good work, I would love to see these officially in the forums.
  17. I can see why the thread is tagged "I'm Sorry".
  18. The first one made me cringe, as back in the olden days when Kate and Baldspot were still there I accidentally killed Kate with the pillow on my first time playing the game. I just wanted her to be more comfortable... Anyway, both of them are great (the second is my favorite), keep up the good work!
  19. Ah, so the grabbing DOESN'T work right in MP yet. Still, I feel that the zeds are a threat in large numbers, especially if they're the fast, durable ones, even if they can't slow you. Don't count the zombies entirely out, but I think that raiders and griefers are of larger concern in MP.
  20. I think respawn cooldown would be an interesting addition, however the situations under which it comes into effect would have to be clear-cut, as being locked out for being killed by a zed, or even by the bandit raiding your base would, in my mind, take away from the game and make it frustrating.
  21. I like this idea. Hope it gets somewhere.
  22. That's a pretty outstanding fortress there. I've just started a new MP world and we've barely got sheets up over the windows on that place so far. Hopefully we'll find nails and an axe to start bulking it up (maybe not to that scale).
  23. I would be a much happier survivor if they added a Combat Knife / rarer improvement to the Kitchen Knife. The Kitchen Knife is one of my favorite starting weapons and I would love to find a later-game variant of it hiding somewhere.
