I think u need to read the FAQ. You get a few free ones for playing the game, and after that u get additional booster packs sometimes when other people craft badges. Or you can trade / buy them obv. You got wut? That's a single card, not a badge. You need all 6 card set to craft a badge, and need to do that 5 times to get the top level badge, or get all 6 foil versions of card to craft the foil spiffo badge.
