Viceroy
Plastic because it is much more versatile and much more widely used. It is a component of most modern things, appliances, tools, containers, electronics, furniture, vehicles. It is just way more useful than paper. If the question was "What would you rather write on?" it would be paper, but it isn't so isn't. VamyreLord and PhantomWarlock

Impetiso
It depends of what use we are talking about. If we have to choose between a paper burger and some plastic fruits, I would rather choose paper burger. I we are talking about plastic or paper in general, plastic seems more reasonable to choose because plastic is a general term while paper is just a small use of cellulose... Oh, wait, it's one of that kind of threads, then I choose paper because paper beats rock and plastic doesn't beat anything Edit: Nice to meet you, Joe the Potato Edited November 4, 2014 by Impetiso
