  1. Visibility vest, hardhat (construction worker?) Security guard (however a typical security guard looks over there..) Hazmat suit? Also as far as I can tell zombies are always fully clothed, I think some of them could be at least shirtless (missing their pants might look a little silly though )

    Jan(im)uary

OMG that makes me so happy I love it when you can do that in games, it adds so much to the immersion (for me anyway..)

Looks awesome! It would be nice if you could sit down and do stuff like reading or eating that way. Or at least just sit down (even if you're not tired) and chill by the fireplace or something at the end of a long day
  4. https://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php?/topic/26-how-to-write-a-good-suggestion/ Basically just make sure that it fits the game and that it wasn't suggested before, so yours was good but it's already in the works
  5. Being covered in blood is already in the works, next update I think
  6. I'd personally love to see that in the game, it was mentioned in one of the thursdoids a few months ago as a distant possibility:
  7. I have no idea what's Night of the dead like, but there is a sandbox option to make the zombies active only at night, that makes scavenging during the day easier. There's also a mod called Nocturnal zombies that makes the zombies even more active at night. Combining the two you could probably set up something like easy scavenging time during the day and running and hiding time during the night
  8. Haha that guy must be the worst survivor ever. "OMG I ended up in a corner SOMEHOW, there's literally no way to get out of here" *shoots himself*
  9. I second this, with a huge horde around the closer zombies seemed to have the same laggy movement as the ones farther ones. And I also noticed that sometimes zombies seemed very unresponsive, I could walk right next to them and they wouldn't react, thought it was some server setting to make them less aggressive or something.. Though this was my first time playing PZ online so I don't have any point of reference.
  10. I assumed they take their cut from the full price unless the game is actually on sale on steam, but I don't know to be honest
  11. Well, Valve is probably not going to give up their 30% cut just because you've already own the game on a different (competing) platform, so the $5 would go to them and the devs would have to do all the extra work to make it possible and get nothing in return. So while it sounds kinda reasonable from the players' standpoint, it's not that reasonable from the devs' standpoint. That's said, it's almost Christmas and the game will probably go on sale, and if for some reason I happen to get a key from the controller testing I'll give it away because I don't have friends D: xD
  12. You can scroll up once to jump to the last container on the list which is usually (always?) the floor, at least with the mouse, not sure if you can do it with controllers.

    Nightzedding

You know they aim for realism when the "models" are hungry while showing off the clothes x) Talk about realism, I'm not sure how realistic it is that zombies wear hats; them dying at some point without the hat falling off their heads, but it adds diversity so I'm okay with that
  14. That's what I thought too, that there's some hidden modifier or something that is not shown to the player because the rain seems to be pretty random. Sometimes I can run around in the rain for many hours too, other times I'm getting damp in 10-20 ingame minutes.
  15. No idea, I put a link to this thread in the new gamepad controls test thread just in case
  16. DoritoS has a suggestion that's relevant here imo, so I'll put a link here to his thread Basically in the inventory there's too little space for the item's name, you often can't see the full name or number that shows how many of it you have; while there's an unnecessarily big space for the category. I don't think you can change it using the controller, and even if you change it it resets every time you quit the game. (the keyboard+mouse version of the inventory doesn't reset)
  17. Yep, the keyboard+mouse version of the inventory stays the way you adjusted it even if you start a new character, it's just the controller version that resets every time you quit.
  18. Glad to hear it works for you again ^^ Thankfully this only happens to me very rarely now - the game slowing down for a couple seconds - but I tried to do some testing while I was playing today. It only happened once after like two hours of playing, during a thunderstorm, indoors, almost fully zoomed in. It was fine before, while I was outside, zoomed out. After it happened I was walking around in that building, zooming in and out and it happened three more times, then it never happened again.. CPU usage was around 20-50% throughout the whole session, GPU is around 30% (not counting when I was driving, which is irrevelant anyway), so nowhere near full capacity. Though there was a noticable increase in CPU usage when the slow mo happened (but still not even close to 100%): http://oi67.tinypic.com/23k86fk.jpg Fun fact is that as I was trying to take screenshots, pressing print screen made the game to snap out of slow motion and fixed it temporarily, which is just a perfect addition to this already wonderful issue xD (I promise it wasn't a coincidence, tested three times) I know this doesn't help, just thought I'd share my experience...
  19. If I remember correctly you have to press B to get out of character creation (sort of) and then you can press A to start. It's a little weird and the game doesn't tell you to press B when done, I guess that could be fixed

    The Darkness

The darkness looks pretty awesome now! (on the video, I couldn't check it in game yet) Now, if only we could upgrade our cars with bullbars so hitting one zombie wouldn't instantly destroy our headlights
  21. The good: - The character is not turning on his own and opening doors, selecting containers etc.. is much easier, it works great now. The bad: - Y axis is reversed for me now (it wasn't in the previous build), and if I switch to keyboard the up and down keys are mixed up on the keyboard too. I can fix the controller in the options, but the keyboard controls will still be reversed. - The game still exits to main menu if I enter a car sometimes. It happened every time in the last build, now I was able to sit on the drivers seat sometimes, I tried about ten times and it crashed 2 times. - I can't change the controller bindings using the controller, the A button switches between player/UI/car controls, and none of the other buttons seem to open the drop down menu. edit: Not sure about yours but the back button brings up the menu for them on a 360 controller. edit 2: Also, I don't know if it's just me but I'm having a lot of trouble rebinding things, I mean making things work on different buttons than the default ones. For example if I switch up the MainMenu and the UIRadialMenu buttons, the back buttons will still be the radial menu (so nothing changed there) and the main menu wont come up at all. Does rebinding works allright for everyone else?
  22. Maybe you could start with 0 but get a +1% immunity with every scratch (inflicted by a zombie, obviously) you survived as your immune system develops a resistance. You'd most likely die from the scratches before you reach 5%, but there would be a chance to develop full immunity and become an absolute legend
  23. I encountered a similar bug when I placed a staircase in front of a window and when I tried to climb through the window - which was blocked by the staircase - it teleported me to the roof.
  24. Thanks for the response! Yeah I don't have a huge problem with the way it works right now, Collophonius pretty much pointed out my only issue with it above: the radial menu is a left thumb button and most of the time my left thumb is busy running away from zombies I think it would be a good compromise if you could rebind the radial menu to one of the bumpers or triggers if that isn't too much work; I don't think you can do that right now, correct me if I'm wrong ^^
  25. You just have to opt into the "controllertest" beta in steam; right click on the game in your library - properties - betas, and use the given password.
