What you could try is to download a cheat mod, for example the CheatMenu or Nercoforge and teleport yourself out of the vehicle.

You could upload the "logs.zip" file in the C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid folder. It should have all the information about the error that stops you from loading.

I recommend following the path to the media folder and deleting the whole lua folder that is inside. After that validate your files and try again.

Can you replicate this somehow? There is a known bug where you crash when you drop a container with items, then pick up the items, and then pick up the container. It is always guaranteed that a null pointer exception happens there and it has been reported. Is this the same bug or does this happen differently?

Are you using any mods? When it crashes again, go to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid Open the console.txt Copy everything from there to https://pastebin.com/ Share the link to the pastebin here. Or you can upload the whole console file. It should have most of the crash information.

Apologies, I looked at the Hydrocraft code first and saw mentions of the Sterilized Rag recipe. We will look into it!

As far as I know, the sterilized rags is part of the Hydrocraft mod, which has some problems with items like these and the devs cannot really fix those. The temporary fix for this though is to drop the pot on the ground from the oven, and not into your inventory. Relogging to the server works too.

This unfortunately can happen often when cars interact with each other, such as pushing them or slamming into cars at high speeds. Currently the only way to deal with it is to push the car out of the bugged position as you did. The collisions will hopefully be fixed in the future.

What version is this? I tried moving the bed and I have the option to drop it in my game. Double-check if there are no mods enabled. Also, have you tried dragging the item to the floor?

First things first, you could try disabling the Steam Overlay, as that creates some problems for MacOS uses especially. Open the Steam client and navigate to the Steam > Settings/Preferences > In-game tab. Uncheck the box next to Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game. Other than that, you could go to your game options and try disabling UI Offscreen Rendering and see if that helps.

Try installing an up to date distro if possible.

Do you have the server set to "Open" and "Public"? I suggest checking the server settings to see if everything is in order. You could also try hosting with the Dedicated Server. EDIT: The "Invite Friends" is on the left side of the screen now, as the menu has been changed in the new update. Best thing would be to invite your friends this way, they also need to have the game closed for it to work properly. Hope it works out!

In the screenshot it looks like it is a lvl 2 doorframe. You need lvl 7 carpentry to build lvl 3 doorways which can be plastered.

The cars are saved somewhat differently from normal saves. Meaning that if you force close the game your car can disappear even if everything else is intact.

Have you tried the solutions as disabling the steam overlay or running the game with the ProjectZomboid32.bat file in your game folder? Open the Steam client and navigate to the Steam > Settings/Preferences > In-game tab. You can check the servers through the Steam server list if you are hosting on a Steam version. Go to your Steam client. On the upper left part of the Steam window click "View" > Servers > Game > Select Project Zomboid

It could be because of the mods that you have loaded. Since the latest update some mods have become outdated and can mess with the game in different ways. I would suggest turning off the ones you suspect would cause the crashes, and if it still crashes remove the other ones too.

The latest version changed the frame rate of the UI, if you are referring to that. You can change the UI FPS in Options > UI Rendering FPS > Change it to 30 for example. If you are referring to general lag, check if you are using any mods that might slow the game down.
