  2. When I host a game with my friends, it always seems like all the zombies are in big clusters, really close to each other, and I haven't seen any spread out zombies, how do I fix this bug, please help.
  3. So I've built a shelter off away in the woods near a lake. Isolation was key - therefore I built onto the lake and isolated part of the base as a sort of island. The base's store room (2nd floor) sits on top of the garage. The garage is completely accessible to normal terrain while you must take a rope to get up to the 2nd level. The store room then leads further onto the lake to the "home" which is divided by some doors. All in all, the construction was quite simple. I ran into very few issues getting walls up other than what might be expected when building on water. I'm making this thread as only half of my constructed base actually registers as an interior and the effects are game-changing. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2548315176 Had to wait for a rainy/snowy day to get this visual to show how drastic the difference is and why I'm setting this one down until I can find a solution (hopefully with your help!). I built about 90% of this base in vanilla and then added some mods on including HC and a stat HUD as well as a QOL mod that shows what skill I've leveled up in above my head. That being said, I'm not convinced any mod contributed to this issue. In this picture it's 53.5F inside, we're going winter which is why I've really kind of had it with this bug for this character. Semi-comfortable, well lit in the morning/afternoon/evening and dry. But upon crossing the threshold of those doors, the game then registers that we're outside. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2548315150 To answer some obvious questions first Yes, there is a roof Yes, floor tiles are on either side of each wall in a desperate attempt to kick this glitch at some point Yes, we're on a lake Funny enough, I've built a pillar on every edge I'm capable of doing so on the main house, but have not done so on the store room. Still, the store room registers interior. You can even see inside the edges from the outside in the pics. So yeah, we're raining and snowing inside where I normally sleep and it sucks. The furnace is next to useless in this space as it's fighting the coming winter cold. If it had not been for a backup I had cuz IWBUMS, I would have lost this character due to some nonsense as there was a massive freeze that came in overnight one night and I hadn't realized yet that the building registered as exterior and my character died unexpectedly. Kinda my bad, but he'd have survived just fine in the store room since it's interior. The sheet rope you see going up is attached to a fence on the roof which actually has walls built around it with a roof on top of that also. That best part is, that tiny room he crawls into after climbing the rope also registers as interior, is super well lit even when my "home" is not, as it's exterior, even though it has no windows! I've made an attempt at deleting the isoregiondata folder - reloading game - destroy wall and rebuilding it to no avail. I've done that a good number of times while trying a few different things to trigger the game to finally think the building is interior but came out empty handed. I was hoping someone could take a look at this. This is actually the first time I've ever gone onto a game's forum to participate in the community. I've got a .rar of my save file prepped, but I'm a bit unfamiliar with trusted file sharing sites so if you wanna take a look at the world, you'll have to recommend me a site to upload Thanks to anyone for reading this or even looking into it!
  4. So I've noticed that all the nodes can not be interacted with unless there is a drop down arrow and a button. I am unable to drop the cd on the cd player box nor the headphones. I've noticed the inability to change the volume or drop vhs on that node as well. Link:
  5. Good afternoon. Enough said. This desk, like all PZ furniture that I know of, is from the Vanilla rendition of "Project Zomboid". Unlike most other types of desks and tables, I cannot disassemble, pick up, rotate, or otherwise alter or relocate the desk by any means except the Sledgehammer. This is not the first time I have encountered furniture like this. Thank you. -TURTLESHROOM
  6. When a male character wears a mini skirt in combination with "sweater" type torso clothing, there occurs a graphic glitch which makes a small part of the mini skirt disappear. For female characters, the problem does not seem to occur. Moreover, other types of skirts seem to work fine (on male and female characters). The problem only seems to occur in the combination "male + mini skirt + sweater". The problem is visible in the character customisation screen as well as in game. To produce the bug, I played in sandbox with all clothing unlocked. (Otherwise, the mini skirt and sweater are not available during character customisation.) No mods enabled. Here is the precise way how I can produce the bug: 1. Enable "All clothing unlocked" in the sandbox menu. 2. When in the "Customise Character" screen, choose a male character and completely undress. 3. In the clothing section, equip your male character with mini skirt and a sweater clothing item. In the example screenshots below, I used a hoodie. 4. As you see in the screenshots, there will be a small section in the upper part of the mini skirt which is not displayed correctly. It simply disappears.
  7. 41.64 Multiplayer Host No. Reproduction steps: Go into passanger seat of car Start reading book you shouldn't be able to take any actions opening map cancels reading mode This has happened to me about two times ( I didn't really wanna risk trying it more), but when you start reading a book while being a passenger in a car, the game will not allow you to exit the reading mode in any way and you are unable to take any actions. I can't really remember how I got out of it but I somehow pressed a lot of buttons and it let me out.
  8. Hey its me again, this time with a bedsheet.. How to reproduce: Place a two stacked boxes on top of another. Now, pick up a bedsheet, and place it on the window from the inside. You should get something like this:

  10. If you grab a corpse and put it in your bag, when you right-click on a ground tile, you don't have the option to drop the corpse, even if you unpack the corpse from your bag. Once you put the corpse in your bag, whether you unpack the corpse or not, if you right click the corpse in player/bag inventory, you have a menu entry "Grab Corpse" which shouldn't be there. If you click the "Grab Corpse" entry in this context and the corpse was inside the bag, it will just unpack the corpse (which is redundant with the "Unpack" menu entry). If you click the "Grab Corpse" entry when the corpse was in player inventory, you end up with this message in console.txt: LOG : General , 1636999305220> bugged action, cleared queue zombie.characters.CharacterTimedActions.LuaTimedActionNew@4a3479b1
  11. When lamps are placed by the player their bulbs will break even when there is no power to the structure. They also break FAR too frequently. And please allow the player to wire lamp pillars to the base if they choose, in a similar way to connecting a generator to the base.
  12. Just encountered an unkillable/untargetable zombie after loading my save in riverside. Playing on Builder mode. Character would just swing bat through zombie without making any contact. However, zombie was able to bite/lacerate me.
  13. So I disabled all of my mods and I'm still having trouble with this visual glitch on the linings of walls. I have no idea what could be causing it but it is so frustrating trying to play with this. Anyone have a similar experience or a solution?? example
  14. If you use a saucepan as a weapon, when it is about to break, you just gotta fill it with water and pour the water on the ground, this way the condition will go back up.

  16. Good morning. I am filing a bug report for the following issue: As you can see in the attached image, for some reason, when I use the "PICK UP" command for a church pew, the pew makes a shadow to its right (if the left is touched) and vice-versa (if the right is touched) and, despite saying I can lift the pew, clicking on it yields no results. I tried multiple pews in the church, and all of them do this odd glitch. What do you think is happening? Is there a means to rectify it? Thank you. -TURTLESHROOM
  17. Good afternoon. I am reporting a bug in "Project Zomboid" concerning sickness. My character got sick and, as everyone knows, that's a death sentence unless you have Antiboitics. I tried to feed her and he lp her sleep, but when I went to bed, she died in her sleep. In her Inventory , she had a Tote Bag as a secondary item and a Big Hiking Bag on her back, as well as a wealth of rarer items and skill magazines in her arms. Note that she died in the bed while the sleep clock was skipping forward. When she died, I started as a new character and went to where she died. I found the Tote Bag, but my previous character's body and everything in the Big Hiking Bag were completely gone. I tried to disassemble the bed, only to find nothing underneath or near it. What happened? Did I do something wrong? Thank you for any assistance you may render. -TURTLESHROOM
  18. Good evening. I am experiencing a bizzare issue with a custom-build room I made connected to my converted Diner base. Enough said. Yes, all Doors are shut. Yes, the Staircase and such are fully enclosed. No, Pillars are not able to be place in corners. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you for any assistance you may give me. -TURTLESHROOM
  19. Good afternoon. After having discussed an issue on the General Thread, several people revealed to me that I am experiencing a bug instead of ignorance. You can also see the issue by clicking this link. Thank you for any assistance you may have. -TURTLESHROOM
  20. Good evening. Enough said. Thank you for any assistance you may have. -TURTLESHROOM
  21. Good evening. I am writing because I am experiencing a serious problem with some of my home inprovement projects in my current game. Please see the attached image below. As you can tell, I am simply unable to remove the Diner table. Both Fifties Seats were easily lifted from their bearings with the Carpentry Skill, but the table would not move. I tried using the Pick Up function, right clicking the table, and even drawing out a Crowbar, a full Propane Torch and Welding Mask, and so on. Funny enough, despite the seats being removed, I was still able to Rest and Sleep by right-clicking the unmovable table. What am I doing wrong? I really wanted to make my home base more comfortable, and I was going to add a Bed there. Is there anything I can do to move this table? Thank you for any assistance. -TURTLESHROOM
  22. Good afternoon. Okay, so I've been playing the game for a few days and, much to my chagrin, I got bitten by a zombie. I deployed CTRL-ALT-DELETE and reloaded from the last auto-save. Fortunately, that was right be for I got nailed by a classic Bathroom Zombie, so I lost no progress. I looted that jackpot of a house and went down to my vehicle. It was gone. Now, I'm stuck too far away to get home AND I lost my preexisting loot in the car. The game saved correctly in the auto-save, and I've loaded the save files, which are all in order. -but my car is gone. The cars near the jackpot house? Oh no, they're there. Only MY car is gone. -and my car key isn't gone, either! What am I to do? Thank you for any assistance. -TURTLESHROOM P.S.: My version is V41.2 .
