Yes, I like your suggestion. As far as interactive furniture goes, I've been wanting a stove that you can covert into a woodstove and use indoors. Or maybe a fireplace you can light, cook on and use to warm up. I don't mind cooking outdoors but in a world of zombie survival, I'd rather find a way to do it indoors!

And yes, more clothing. As girly as it sounds, I've actually had dreams of finding a pair of boots in game and they didn't just look like black shoes on my character! AAAAHHHH!

    The Clothing Suggestion

I, as a returning Project Zomboid player, can imagine the following has taken place for the die-hard Project Zomboid players with over 200 hours clocked in playing the game:

    - You've more or less gone professional in terms of general survival and how to sustain a healthy diet!
    - You have built many things, maximizing your creative capabilities!
    - Mods; many you tried, spiced up your game!
    - Thought up some crazy challenges to further increase the epic factor of the gameplay!
    - You went online! Played with friends! Killed your friends over a can of dog food!
    - Now you're bored...

Clothing is a very basic thing in a lot of survival games nowadays, but it adds so much without trying to be complicated. Majority of players like to have free hands when it comes to doing things, especially in character customization.

    (A little story below)

What is in my head for clothing?:
You would have multiple slots for clothing: Head, eyes, jacket/overshirt, shirt, pants, socks, shoes. You can stack shirts and such on top of each other (refer to NEO Scavenger, a turn-based survival game that has a system like that). So you could be wearing a t-shirt and a long-sleeved shirt on top of eachother, and to top it all off a jacket (with obvious debuffs such as the heat factor). Clothing items would have a health, that has a chance to go down upon traveling through rough terrain (through forests) and upon being attacked. The obvious suggestions:
Leather Jacket (Brown and black ones; heavy and hot to be in, but offer increased protection against scratches and bites) Raincoat (Yellow and blue ones; obviously a very feeble piece, but protects against rain) T-shirts (Endless possibilities; obvious that it won't give any substantial pros or cons) Jeans (Washed-out variants to go with shades of black and blue; slight protection against scratches and bites) Sneakers (Endless possibilities; look fab whilst fleeing) Only your imagination is the limit from here on! Project Zomboid under my understanding is supportive towards mods. If a basic system were to be implemented the modding portion of this great game's community would probably come up with their own little items, till Indie Stone has got the time to focus on these smaller things.

    The Interactive Furniture Suggestion

Yeah, it'd be cool to sit on chairs, sofas and lay down in beds (without falling asleep). It could have some buffs towards your character's healing (and sleeping definitely should have if it already does not).

Flip tables? Move shelves? All that cool stuff? Yeah, imagination is your only restriction on this - discuss about it.

Sparrow got a reaction from Zombadger in Outdoor ambiance specific to the seasons of erosion?
One thing I felt that could greatly improve the immersion of the game is changing ambiance according to not only the weather, but the changing seasons which were so awesomely added with Erosion.

The outdoor ambiance is wonderful, but I thought it would be neat if in the spring you hear more birds and bugs, in the summer more insect noise, in autumn the rustling of leaves and migratory birds, and in winter a chilly wind. Or you know, whatever your interpretation of the sounds of the seasons are for Kentucky. =)

I would be happy to supply the ambiance sounds if someone knows how that could be coded into a mod. There is a cool website http://www.ambient-mixer.com/ where you can mix sounds, the only downside is you have to pay to have a downloadable version of the sounds. I'd be happy to mix the sounds and pay for them if someone knows a way to code them into the changing seasons. =)

Thank you for reading! Let me know if you think it's a good idea.

Well, this all originates from a request from miss DemonXelo, found at http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/16455-a-reason-for-doing-what-we-do-request/

Sooo... First tests are VERY promising and sucessful!

I can make the NPC follow me around, say things, and pretty much everything! So, the NPC Companion mod is now confirmed, and will be made.
Now, my plan is to make a companion NPC that does basic things, but generally just follows you around. The companion will need feeding, sleeping, etc. I don't know how far I can push this, but I don't see any limits so far.

If you have any questions, by any means, ask them

And yes... I am a wizard!

The mod isn´t supposed to be in the normal "mods" and "server" folder. You should only put it in the Zomboid/mods folder, because the game loads it from there. Don´t put the mod anywhere else except the Zomboid/mods folder and it should work if all your clients have done the same.

Cheese is planned, but we lack the art for Cheese Racks. If anyone wants to help draw one then I would add Cheese Making to the game.

See this post for what art is needed.

You can set time to just about any value I think. Salting Meats takes a long time too.

Do different dog breeds have different odds at finding cows or sheep? My border collie has found several sheep so far, but no cows.

I'm having a lot of fun turning all of the dead zombie clothing into ropes though, there are naked zombies all over my lawn. =)

I found a possible bug, when you use the Wooden Bucket with Tannin to make leather, you're left with one Empty Wooden Bucket and one Wooden Bucket with Water. Essentially the buckets multiply. I have only done this twice but it did it both times.

Also, just gonna slip my fan suggestion in there, have you considered making pack horses and mules to go with the dogs? Are more farm animals part of future plans?
