    Well the reason he is so panicked is because you picked Agoraphobic AND claustrophobic.
    (Claustrophobic means the char gets panicked indoors and Agoraphobic means they get panicked outdoors)
    So your character is pretty much a nervous wreck, I guess the panic is something you're gonna have to put up with.
    Beta blockers might help, I'm not entirely sure since I've never played that character build.
    Who knows, maybe when NPCs are added your friendly apocalypse doctor might give you therapy which could help with it or being with a friend might calm you down. Guess we'll have to wait n see =3

    I usually use this build:
    Pros:
    Stout-About 12 weight, enough for one big duffel bag+backpack full o loot
    Lucky-Think it reduces chance of bites/scratches?
    aaand construction worker

    Cons:
    Brooding
    Short Tempered
    Light Drinker
    Bare in mind the cons dont rlly have an effect atm but they are deffo coming (may need to rethink this when NPCs come, but for now this has worked 4 me)

    Thanks . I chose this character build from that PZ guide "Pro tips for new players". I just thought the effects of the 2 panic traits wouldn't be that bad.. I'll need to get tons of beta blockers now lol

    Why would you introduce loading screens to a game that streams the world pretty much seamlesly? You'd miss all the action or the lack of it when your driving to another town.
     
    In case you didn't know the map is going to be all one big map and not different towns or places which you choose from to go. If you wanna go left on a road or stop in the middle of it, there's no loading screen in the way. Hell, you can jog into Louisville from West Point if you really want to (whenever it's implemented).
     
    In case this is a fast travel suggestion I say it's a definite no from me! I hate fast travel and it dumbs down the gaming experience by a ton. You skip half or even more of the game by using fast travel. And where PZ focuses on realism I don't really see a reason why you would suddenly teleport into a different place. Also coding wise I think it would be a problem to add random events between loading screens etc. versus having the world which just streams along.
     
    The only problem I see will be that how will they be able to make the game smooth enough for such fast map streaming as you'd have with vehicles.

    Pretty simple feature - Add the ability to "examine" wallets that you find on dead bodies, to characterise every zombie that you find wallet on. Tooltip will appear, showing Name and Lastname, Age, married or single, etc. Since there are already wallets in the game, and already a database with random names (the "Random" button on character creation), I don't think it will take much time to implement it, although there are of course more important features right now beside this one.
     
    I think I've already suggested it long ago on old forums, decided to revamp the idea over here. What do you guys think?

    Hey all, just a quick suggestion - I was thinking of a few new things for PZ, here it goes!
    Sleeping bag:
    By right clicking it allows player to sleep, the sleeping bag is placed and the player sleeps, when the player
    Wakes up, the sleeping bag is returned to the inventory, the sleeping bag would be found in a variety of places most commonly, caravan/demountable/cheap housing and uncommonly found in normal houses. The sleeping bag could be used indoors and weighs about 3.0
    Sheet and pillow:
    By having a sheet as your secondary and a pillow as your primary you can right click the ground and sleep anywhere! Neither items are lost in process, sleeping as normal

    I could get behind this as long as like most ideas it's implemented properly. Don't want to have your character falling over constantly when they have no reason too. Could certainly be interesting and rather humorous thing to add to the game.

    I would humbly like to suggest the one thing every single zombie movie has in it.
    falling down.
     
    thaats right, I would like to suggest some kind of mechanic where the player will have a chance of falling over, this could be caused by countless things such as that clumsy trait, panic, running on rough terrain, moving through rubbish piles, corpses, darkness.
     
    now you all have seen it, person gets chased by zombies and while not paying attention, stumbles and falls down and becomes zombie food. I would love this to be in the game, not a hugely common occurance but. for example. if a player is running up some stairs in the pitch dark.... they should fall over. its going to happen to anyone who isnt a complete ninja.
     
     
    a rough idea of how it might work:
     
    we have a value: 100 which i will call "stability", this value is affected by all the various things that might affect it such as.
    lack of shoes
    raining
    on stairs
    on a body
    injured leg
    light level
    traits
    tiredness
     
    each of these would subtract from the value of stability (some would add to it).  once the value reaches a set threshold we have the survivor fall over, assuming the survivor survived any subsequent zombie attacks we add some points to the value to represent the survivor taking a little more care... for a small amount of time that is >
     
     
    yeah thats prettymuch it. something to make survivors have the possibility of falling over and being clumsily eated.

    I find that the negative posts over there are so deconstructive and stupid that they're more than likely just trolls, and they're also far and few between.
     
    Had to laugh at the guy suggesting PZ should be free though. Bless him.

    My view on this is that there should be some negative effect when you are sick either via eating rotten food, not looking after your character during harsh weather conditions, or from “Zombification”. We get the message to rest when are character is nauseous, but their are currently no real disadvantages of exploring while being nauseous. The player currently suffers almost no penalties for continuing on with their day to day lives while he has a 100 degree fever and is nauseous, even MINUTES before “Zombification”.
     
     A negative effect of actually being sick would be if your character actually stopped and vomited at random intervals while being sick. For the 1-2 seconds your character would be at a standstill doing a puking animation, as well as sending off a minor amount of noise from the puking effect. This would actually give a penalty for your character being sick, and incorporate a new aspect of realism to the play.
     
    This would make players be forced to look after their character for the day until the sickness passes at risk of exploring and alerting zombies to your position while being nauseous. This is incredibly more realistic, as in almost all horror movies when people are transforming into the zombie stage they become violently ill and are unable to carry on normal functions. This would also incorporate many more aspects into the game when multiplayer or NPC play is incorporated.
     
    EX1. NPC has been bitten and player must decide to either send him out to pasture or allow him to continue to follow the group until the end at risk of him alerting nearby zombies while being sick.
     
    EX2. Player has consumed rotten food as he was unable to locate any and is ill and puking, player must decide to either stay indoors hungry and waits out the sickness or risk going out to find food while being sick.
     
    Let me know what you think either positive or negative.
     
    TLDR
    -Incorporate a sick and puking effect when the player is nauseous to make a penalty for the player being sick
    -Vomiting sound alerts nearby zombies and makes travelling while sick much more risky and realistic

    Yea. Presents under the tree to the other NPC's. A group of zombies just playing in the snow. 
    That's all good until the cold hits and you freeze to death with a bottle of bleach next to you.

    Also, if only one zed comes a knocking that means only one side is getting pushed... Meaning the porta potty is gonna go tumbling over, with you and the... contents... of the potty being sloshed around like the inside of a washing machine. Which you'll need.
     
    Bonus points if it's at the top of a hill and the potty goes rolling down the hillside with you in it. There could even be an achievement for it!
