  1. I actually got a random idea. And I believe it would be possible to implement with new weather system. I'd love to be able to watch weather forecasts on TV or listen to it on the radio. I believe knowing probability of a rainy weather in a particular day, would help with farming and planning long runs. At least as long as TV and radio stations are broadcasting and you still have power. Maybe we could even be able to get that info later from survivors broadcasting on HAM radio from local meteorology station or something, (probably less acurate than the professional ones).
  2. Gonna tag along to the topic. Add Two-way radios in police cars, park ranger cars, ambulances and fire department cars. I believe that's a little bit of an oversight.
  3. I love the idea of Motorbikes, and bicycles, with generally less storage. Also riding a motorbike should be more dangerous and less forgiving. You don't have a seatbelt after all. And collisions could result in you falling off the bike, sustaining various amounts of damage ( depending on speed, and gear you wear). Also generally most bikes are louder than cars, but also can be faster, and are more "nimble". I'd personally love to go for a bicicle trip in the middle of zombie apocalypse. (Not joking I believe bikes are the best invention regarding transport in the history of mankind, and i have my reasons!)
  4. I like the idea, but I think if we are going to get that in game we need to wait until devs add wildlife to the game. It would be a lot more logic to properly aim at animals when you hunt, because if you just shot them they may ran off and bleed somewhere in the middle of the forest, instead dropping almost on the spot. So that system would make a lot of sense then, and I'd love some kind of target indication. It's a little confusing when you have multiple zombies as possible targets. Maybe a little colour thingie like with containers, and it may also show you which specific part of the creature you're targeting. A little bit like in Fallout series. Yep, I know my english is bad.
  5. I saw Spears category in the teaser of new level up system, and I just got a fun idea. I'd love to be able to attach makeshift bayonettes on shotguns and rifles. Or to use them to hit zombies in general.

Thanks for positive reactions for ideas Also I'd like to expand refrigerators idea: It should actually have way less space than normal fridge, and worse food protection ability, Also it probably should be quite bulky, and remember about batteries that have to be changed somtimes. It could actually have it's own meter like weapons, and electrician should be abe to repair it or craft one maybe at like 3 level skill or less. But that's justa suggestion. It seems pretty balanced
  7. I've just got an idea. I believe we should get delivery man occupation, it should reduce actually driven cars negative aspects a bit and improve positve ones. Like, It would be easier to turn the van, and you can get more storage or stg. I hope you understand what I mean. Maybe it would be better to split it to two occupations like delivery man (for bigger vehicles) and pizza boy, or something like this (for normal sized cars and/or motorbikes in future) Another separate idea i've got some time ago: I'd love to be able to carry a touristic refrigerator (you know this blue and white battery powered boxes used for keeping your beer bottles cold on picnic or something.) And this mug that can keep your drinks hot for few hours(I forgot the word ;p ). This would be useful in Autmn and winter when it starts to get cold outside, and a sip or two of hot coffe could help you not freeze to death on long scavenging runs. It's nothing very oryginal and creative vut I haven't seen sugestions like this here. (I still could have missed them, then im sorry if I do.)
  8. Personally I think that there sholud be something in between pre set factions and random groups. I mean there sholud be chances of spawning aggresive survivor inmates in prison, maybe bikers gang in Twiggy's, Hunters in shooting range or/and Forest shacks, maybe some cult like group in one of the churches, also chances to meet survivors of particular occupation near their former work places. But it all should be a chance still. Like with burned buildings.
  9. Just another vehicles idea: emergency services cars should be able to turn on the sirens and lights to make noise and attract zeds from far away, also some cars should have alarm that will activate if you try to open it without proper key.
  10. Hi, I've just a fast sugestion, I don't have much time to check if it was mentioned by someone already. I've just realised that If there is a radio receiver in police/park ranger/military police vehicle/ambulance car, there should be this wired microphone they're using to communicate with each other and base. I've no idea how could it work when you driving so maybe it should be used by a passeneger? I hope you understand what im trying to tell, sorry im a foreigner, and my english may be a little bit odd. Also, are NPCs going to be able to use vehicles? I mean on their own, without help of player?

  13. Another idea. When you have in your group an npc survivor who is addicted i.e from smoking, if you spare him ( i hope i can say it like that) a cigarette, that will incerase relations between you and him/her. Just a little, but nice and useful thing. P.s: my english quality sucks ;-;
  14. Hi! I just realised that in PZ you can't get addicted. I mean that there is alcohol and drugs, so your chracter should get addicted in result of drinking alcohol, somoking cigs, or using drugs too often. You may also start with alcohol addicted/ drugs addicted/ cigs addicted charcter. I have no idea what kind off problems this addictions should make, when you are rapidly stop drinking/smoking etc. coz im not addicted to anything ;D (If you have ideas and/or experience with that stuff you can write it here) I know my idea is soooo plain and obvious, and maybe something like it was written before. I appologise for this, and for quality of my language ( English isn't my native ;-
  15. what Tanks exist. Bombs exist. Miniguns exist. Huge machine guns exist. APCs exist. Grenades and C4 exist. You can't just write them off as not being in a MILITARY BASE! A military base is bound to have tanks and shit. If the devs want the base, the coinciding military assets should come with it. I am sure we are going to see some of it, but we aint going to be using a mini gun to mow down zombies while using C4 and shit to level down a building while pumping some rock music in a tank with a NPC driving it and other NPC using the .50 cal machine gun on the gunner seat mowing down more zombies. We are not going to get tanks or any overpowered military weapons period. We already have some sort of grenade with the hairspray and the sparklers, so don't think that when you raid Fort Knox you will be using tanks, APC, a .50 cal machine gun mounted on top of a jeep, we will see grenades for sure, but i am even more sure that they will be rare as fuck to find. I dont remember where i read this, but when the game starts, it said something about the military(real NPCs) trying to hold off the zombies in fort Knox and used up most of their stuff, so by the time you gear up and try to get inside the fort (that will be surrounded by zombies because all the ammo they will consume and the eventual downfall of the Fort), you either will face a countless number of zombies and dead military guys and more than half of the ammo gone, including grenades and other stuff. I think still that we should be able to fix up some of the random tanks we find abandoned by the ever retreating military force to add an asset to your Surivior group. I mean, make there be a active soldier profession where you know how to get military hardware working, or make it use a shit ton of deisel, i don't care. If you think survivors wouldn't TRY to get a tank running to use it against other survivors or to barge through undead swarms, you got another thing coming. A balancing thing could be making shells very rare. like you'll prolly find 10 to 20 total across the base and scattered in military sites. And only one type of tank round is effective. Canister shot. It's basically a shotgun shell, for a tank. Shreds anything in front of the barrel for a hundred yards, very effective at dismembering and mutilating zombie crowds. might only kill 10, but renders a hell of a lot more immobile. I think that's fair. A tank has advantages, and it should have disadvantages too. Notably- it's pretty damn slow, it's pretty damn loud. And it goes REALLY slow over dead zombies, and through undead crowds, we're talking like 4 MPH. or at the very least let us drive them, maybe explain the military has locks on the firing mechanism so you need a password to use the turret. just let us use them as battering rams for enemy walls and stuff. It's not like zombies exactly blow up tanks. they at most can get the door open and get inside or drag the crying crew outside of it. Hell, even adding a "mechanic" Skill tree, and making tank repair number 10 would be alright with me. I'm not saying making this into DAYZ, i'm just saying SOME military equipment of most kinds should be avalible, even if improbably rare. Trust me, i live in southern ohio not an hour away from kentucky and even here i see people walking around brandishing AK47's and AR-15's, scares the fuck out of me daily. GIVE THIS MAN A COOKIE!

  17. But you can already take more sleeping pills than necessary. And you can drink bleach.But there are so many fun ways to do it! Take a rope and soap, bullet to the head, cutting oneself with a knife, drowning oneself in a sink... All of these are useful if you're trapped in a room with no bleach, pills or windows. Plus, roleplay side of it And now imagine that on multiplayer someone get to bathroom and find a corpse floating in a bathtub with bloody scars on wrists... weird, so i like it P.S: I Apologise for my weird english quality

I agree with you Tomwa game should serve us different persons ( not only characters) with their own story and when you killing someone you ( not your charcter) should think about this, you should feel wrong or right... because it was a person maybe you don't have to kill maybe now his group try to punish you or maybe they will starve because scravenger didn't come back. Maybe some similar topic was added in past but I'd like to see in game 2 new occupations: - Doctor - a character with that occupation would can heal himself and his companions better than someone who don't have this occupation. - Mechanic (when vehicles will be added) - character would can repair/improve vehicles faster and better than someone else. P.S: I Apologise for my english but it's not my native language
