  1. Why on Earth would you use a musical instrument to hit zombies, besides having no alternative weapons? In terms of instruments I hope we could use them to play music. Could be nice way to improve mood when NPCs hit.
  2. There are some places that have traditional wells nearby. And guess what? They are an infinite source of water!
  3. There is a bayonet attachment, in game, that attaches to both Hunting and Varmint Rifles. Never seen it spawn, as it is clearly unfinished mechanic. That fact makes me positive that this will be part of the gameplay eventually.
  4. Everything in this update makes me so hyped. Im not sure what will I try first when the game comes out. The new Farming and Animal Care, or will I go nomad again with improved survial stuff. Can't wait to stalk the forest in a hunt for a deer ^^ Exploration will be sooo cool to when the map levels change hits!
  5. Maybe, possibly when the time comes and NPCs hit the ground, we may have system similar to Survivalist:Invisible Strain, that allows switching between characters in your Faction and taking control of each one of them. It really depends how much control over the organisation inside the group the devs want us to have.
  6. Patience. The World Map already has infrastructure that suggest horse spawn areas. And looking toward the announced way the devs wish to push the game toward, im pretty positive horses will be coming.
  7. Devs explicitly said no to most of those things. I do get where you coming from, but al you wish to achieve with your solution can be fulfilled by already confirmed ones. NPCs and community with relations between NPC and PC. Ain't a community of survivors that you're a part of reason enough to keep going? Or maybe multiple communities striving to regain a semblance of civilisation? In the long run it may be unrealistic that those communities do not grow in natural way, but then mods are always a solution if you really wish to have such themes in your game. Not everyone does.
  8. Chad Avantex65. Reads suggestion. Comments "No". Refuses to elaborate. On the topic of suggestion, that is something that could be modded.

There ain't nobody here but us chickens! There ain't nobody here but us!
  10. I can see it go south horribly in a multitude of ways... Most of those are from players abusing the system.
  11. Okay hear me out here: A frozen coldpack+Handheld cooler = small mobile fridge with the coldpack functioning like a battery in a flashlight except it is ticking away no matter what (Maybe slower or it does not when you have the cooler outside and it's freezing). It may also not be as good as normal fridge let alone the freezer. This could let us keep those perishables we fing on long loot runs fresh. Also refrigerated Spiffo Van trunk anyone?
  12. Actually makes a lot of sense. I'd also like to see crawlers hiding under cars (Especially wrecks) awaiting in ambush for a careless survivor, or crawling out unexpected, when lured out by a sound.
  13. Technically I believe main inventory to be pockets. I do hope we will get something in the matter of carrying capacity form vests and ammo straps.
  14. F for Fanny Pack. You were a true blessing in this accursed world my friend.
  15. Maybe, but I don't think those were able to use GPS
  16. First of all, appologies for any mistakes I made in this comment. English is not my native language and I don't have much time to polish this text. I agree that it would be cool, but I believe dev are aiming for certain amount of realism, and as far as I am aware dual welding was not used historically very often. In fact dual welding melee weapons has some problems that need to be adressed by limiting some utility of said weapons by for example limiting reach of one of them. On the topic of dual welding handguns, I personally believe on the grounds that I've not found any historical sources confirimng that firearms were used in combat two handed and it's only popularised by Hollywood. Althrough maybe in the age of black powder and sails, during fights on the decks of ships such maneuvers might have happened, as it is confirmed that sailors often possesed multiple firearms, but it is still more beneficial to fire one after another with use of both your hands or your dominant hand to ensure more accuracy, which may have not been an issue when firing at a crowd or in cramped spaces, but in context of fighting zombies and single targets, combined with ammo scarcity, makes accuraccy imperative. It would be cool as fuck tho, even if when considering above might be a noob trap.
  17. Yeah... Now i crave a nice not so quiet mass dezombification with some friends by my side. Imagine filling a 6 seater minivan with fullauto AR wielding survivors and doing a nice drive-by along the Dixie Highway...
  18. Yes. Soon I'll be able to exercise while listening to Eye of the tiger, while running from hordes and watching tv in the breaks.

Cool. Will there be a smaller update with those mentioned features anytime soon? #TreePushersGang
  20. Actually I believe no matter the force if it is applied on smaller surface it makes more damage, that's why blades cut and axes split stuff apart. And hitting something with a weapon that hits bigger area spreads the force of hit and the potential damage across the target. You are fighting a zombie. You don't want to give him a concussion or internal bleeding or a broken bone. You want to destroy the brain, and to do that you should penetrate the flesh and then split the bone. Even historical maces were designed in a way, to minimize point of contact with target to focus the force. Considering the construction of this specific shovel in game I believe it still has enough edge to be effective chopping weapon. Sorry if that's chaotic or not written too well, but english is not my native language Edit: I am not saying it should be considered a bladed weapon or an axe, just were wondering why the animation is made that way. Not gonna make a big deal out of it.
  21. So, I've noticed that when a character hits a target with a shovel they do it with the flat part of the tool. It's pretty obvious that hitting with the metal edge would be more effective, in fact historically durig The Great War soldiers used sharpened entrenching tools (or however you call shortened military shovel like things) this way. Not sure why in game you use the flat part like in movies, but it never seemed okay to me. Maybe someone posted a similar suggestion, but I couldn't find it.
  22. Hey OI like those suggestions, maybe we will see them with NPCs added, but remember there are more instruments than just a guitar in game.
  23. Wait I know. We have Books, we have TV, and radio. Soon we will have working PCs... We can now perform proper social distancing.
  24. Now that's interesting. I wonder what will PCs make possible to do. Any ideas?
  25. Cool. So many small but important fixes and changes. But I still wait for bayonetts
