^ Me shortly after accidentally leading a horde to my safehouse in West Point a month in. I said fuck it and Tony Montana'd my way through them with a shotgun. Sadly I got bit by three stragglers that broke into my bathroom and just sorta stood there. I kept all my medicine in there, and was scratched in my rampage. You can see where I'm going with this.

We need some equivalent to Strickland Propane in Muldraugh, where we can loot for our propane, and propane accessories.

PS3. I'm too poor to upgrade to a PS4, but I couldn't wait to play it. It still looks really good for running on decade old hardware. Sure it's not as good looking as on next-gen or PC, but God damn is it a snazzy looking game for what it's worth. The textures still look great, the effects are good, and the city is still fairly dense, so it still feels like a busy Chicago. I'm even doing a blind Lets Play of it, mostly because I wanted to LP it ever since I got hyped for it, but a tiny part is also to show off how great the game is even on the last generation.

One of the few perks of playing it on console I guess. Hoorah for being a console gamer?

I dunno about all of you, but I'm super hyped for it. It's one of the few games I've ever preordered, and from the videos I've watched, the gameplay and story are fairly interesting, with the gameplay actually utilizing the hacking instead of it just being a thing you can do like some "innovative" games tend to do. Who else is on this hype train with me?

I love this idea. Maybe a selfish, thief kinda dude sees his wife/daughter/etc. die, and he realizes that he's causing innocent people trouble and has a change of heart. Or on the flip side, a good guy sees his family die and it makes him snap and go wacko. Fluctuating, realistic "personalities" in NPCs? Oh hell yes.

Some houses have things that run off propane (mainly the stoves, mainly as a backup), so we could use it for that. Maybe even be able to wheel barbeques around like the wheelie bin from the old map? Then we could live in our own shack out in the woods, take the tank out of a BBQ to make it lighter, wheel it along to the shack, and BOOM. You can sustain yourself for a few months on that tank as long as you hunt meat to cook.

The worst is when you're playing older versions, like 2.0.0q, and you go to sleep, only to wake up to the entire horde literally surrounding your house. You just hear a mass of moans and groans, and proceed to empty your bowels.

I am loving this thread. So far what I'd like to see is that the fish population doesn't just die off entirely, but rather goes "dormant" in a sense. Basically, you can still catch fish very rarely at this point, but you're better off hauling it to another fishing spot. So a dead zombie floating down the river or falling in your lake means it's time to move. So players can live off fish indefinetly, but it requires a lot of moving around later on. And we all know moving around can be quite dangerous in Knox County.

Yeah, try being a nomad. No settling down, living off looted food, sleeping in different houses all the time. Always moving. It's how I play, and I usually last a little while before I end up getting eaten.

Rick, you have no idea what you are missing! Granted, WP is not suggested for beginners but, i assure you, it makes for a much more intense zomboid experience! I highly suggest you try it out!
