I have not got a static IP but I have set up Dynamic DNS. When you select the server change the IP to m700n.ddns.net and save it to favourites. This is so when the IP changes on the server it does not affect your save. When saved to favourites it will say that it is offline but you will still be able to connect.   4. Hi all, I am starting up a server that people can join. It's a whitelisted server as I don't want people ruining the map. I want to create a community type server where the ultimate goal is to survive together. The current settings I have: Zombies (Fast shambler) Weather (Very rainy + very cold) Nature (Abundant) Loot (Weapons rare, else normal) Loot re-spawns after a week.   7. Hi, I post this new topic because i don't find any server of this kind. Pvp is fun, but usually make the game without coop, because most of the players play it like a GTA so it's a little like a solo with a difficulty in more. I understand that in a real apocalypse, some people will kill everything on sight, but there will be some community too, because a group is stronger than several separate people and most of the people alone will die or become mad on the long term (just my opinion) . And the public server in pve are almost all the time so easy that coop is not required to survive and even if I enjoy to play in coop on this kind of server, it's rather a sims than a survival game if you played in solo since a long time. So, i search a server really hard and realistic, example, rare loot for food and weapon is logical, but why for the rest of the stuff ? In an apocalypse zombie, most of the people will travel with the needed stuff, not all the junk in their houses... The server can be in RP or not, i'm open to both. I really prefer without mods too, because I like the game as it is for now, but why not Hydocraft, if I don't have to remove the mod to play to my solo save. But above all else, I just search a PVE/Hard server anglophone (or french, but anglophone is better), but If it doesn't exist, I'm really hot to begin a new server, I just can't be the host. Sadly I can not offer you to play with us directly, because we only speak german in our squad, but feel free to join the server and play on. If you got any questions post them here or contact me on steam. Server is hosted by chernarus.de , which hosts an ARMA2 DayZ Overpoch, an ARMA2 DayZ Epoch and a 7 Days To Die Server aswell. Feel free to join there too. Server settings are listed further below in detail, if you wanna know exactly I guess you can figure them out. But I will list important stuff for you: - PvP is off, if you want to interact in PvP combat you have to turn your Safety off. - Loot- and zombie respawn is active, but keep in mind that none has to be around the area for some time to respawn the loot. - Food will only decay slowly. Lengh of day is 2 h realtime. If none is online server-time will stop to prevent spoilage. - the server will be reset every 4-5 weeks, depending on the damage on the environment. Next reset will be around early March. Please mind our server rules, otherwhise you might receive a ban. 1. No insults, no reasonless accusations and no racism. 2. Do not use any hacks, mods or bugs. 3. You are allowed to loot and ransack all buildings which are substantial on the map. Be aware that if you barricade a house it is allowed to be looted by any other player. 4. All buildings build on your own (like a shack in the woods) in the wilds are not allowed to be looted or burned down. 5. Setting fire on purpose to burn down houses or zombie hordes is forbidden. The Burning Giraffe - German Part - Hey Wir haben die Tage einen öffentlichen Project Zomboid Server gestartet. Dieser ist derzeit noch nicht wirklich ausgelastet und wir würden uns freuen wenn ihr mal vorbeischaut. Der Server soll 50 Slots haben, aber bisher konnten wir das noch nicht voll austesten. Gehostet wird der Server von der chernarus.de Multigaming Community, welche auch einen DayZ Overpoch- und einen DayZ Epoch-Server und einen 7 Days To Die Server hostet. Wenn ihr Lust habt schaut auch da mal rein. Der Server wird ca. alle 4-5 Wochen resettet. Sprich der Strom ist wieder da, Wasser läuft, zerstörte Gebäude stehen wieder usw. Ihr könnt also aus eurem letzten Leben lernen und dann ein neues Projekt starten. Ggfs. bleiben mit dem Reset die Charaktere, ihre Fähigkeiten und was sie bei sich tragen erhalten. Der nächste Reset kommt Anfang März. Loot wird nachspawnen, kann allerdings nur dann passieren wenn ihr nicht in der Nähe seid. Tell me a little backstory for your in game character, I want to keep tabs of every survivor. TO START A GROUP: Message me on here, or in game. Tell me a little about your group. Groups must work towards these goals. -Finding a location, and establishing a community. Whether you build it from scratch, or take over a building. Good or Bad? The Zombie apocalypse reveals the good, bad, and ugly in those left alive. Some do all they can to help those in need, while others aim to make matters worse. WHO WILL YOU BE? Message me in game, and I will take a note of what team you are on. Survivor: Alignment: Neutral Survive for awhile and see who you become. Go alone or work together with other survivors. Cannot start a community as a lone wolf or a small group, small buildings and houses are where you can make your temporary base. Leader: Alignment: Good Groups can have multiple leaders depending. Leader of the group you create, you will be entitled to assign jobs and duties to the members of your community. ex: Farmer, Carpenter, Fisherman. More than one person can have the same job if you want them too, like if you want all of your group to be farmers, so be it. The only thing I care about is that you follow the rules of your role. -Don't kill other players unless provoked, if you're threatened, how you react is up to you. -Organizing trades with other groups. (Your choice as well, send one person out to trade with the other group, or go there in a bigger number. Have some survivors hang back a little bit in the event of an ambush.) -Placing a wooden sign down for every member in your community who passed away, set it up to appear as a graveyard. -Rationing out the food and water. -Assigning shifts for whatever tasks you create. I'll have more ideas later on. Ruthless Leader: Alignment: Bad You rule over the thugs, criminals, and overall assholes of the apocalypse who seek a leader. You get done what you want to get done, in any way possible. Rules: -You cannot go around killing other players for fun. Have fun with this roleplay server, kidnap a survivor from a community and make demands to get what you want or something like that. Idk, be creative, but don't be that guy who just kills other serious players. -No shooting on sight, if you see a player and you want to rob them, you are more than welcome to try. If you have the upper hand (ex: You have a shotgun pointed at them) Have them drop what you want and send them on their way. How they react though is a different story. Nobody wants to lose their precious loot that took forever to find. If you're killed while trying to rob someone, then that's that. I'm not going to punish someone for defending their shit. -If a community of survivors has what you want, do what Negen does in the walking dead and demand half of their loot every so many days or else bad things might happen. LEADERS OF BAD ALIGNMENT GROUPS CAN'T START WARS! You can provoke it, but you are not allowed to start the war. Only the GOOD ALIGNMENT LEADER can declare war on your group, and they actually have to let it be known through chat that war has been started. WAR! A SET LOCATION WILL BE MADE BY ME, NO FIGHTING A WAR IN THE MIDDLE OF A SUBURBAN/CITY LIKE AREA We fight the dead to survive, but sometimes the living will push you to the point of no return. GOOD ALIGNMENT LEADERS ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE ALLOWED TO START WARS Example, if a group of baddies has been taking half your find, kidnapping your people, or otherwise provoking you, then you will tell your community to get prepared. After they are all informed, you will go into the /all chat and announce that you are going to war. and again LEADERS OF BAD ALIGNMENT GROUPS CAN'T START WARS! Don't fight a war for a long time, I will stop by to keep it somewhat civil if it's taking awhile. Leaders of both alignments can be killed during a war, but ONLY BY THE OTHER LEADER. I want this server to be very in depth, and I want you guys to feel as though you're actually your character. In order for this to be an interesting server, with immersive backstories and whatnot, we can't have a huge war that the world is aware of end with one of the leaders getting stabbed to death by a lower ranked member of the opposing group. When the war is over, announce it in chat. I will reward the winner with random loot at the WEST POINT CITY HALL. Loot you can be gifted: -Guns -Ammo -Useful Supplies -I'll allow you to request one special item, whatever you choose, then I will select the rest of the reward. NOTEBOOKS: Leaders, or basic members of a community will document major events you struggle through using a notebook and pen. Keep it on you at all times, and when it's full, you will take it to WEST POINT CITY HALL where a makeshift library will be, and then the entire world can stop by and see your story. FACTIONS: When you start a community, group, or faction, you are required to tell me these details. -Group name, unless you honestly don't want one. -The color of your groups upper apparel. (We need to distinguish one group from another, so having a set shirt color is ideal. You can only have one color.) -Where you plan to set up your community. -Your Alignment Choice -after that I will either give you the ok, or ask you to change a few things. I don't want a million groups in my server. I want large communities of players. If there are too many groups of the alignment you want to be, I will ask you to instead join one of the communities after I ask to see if one will take you in. If none will, then you are free to start your own. CURRENCY: (IN GAME CURRENCY OF COURSE) I will have a shop set up with a bunch of items to trade, probably at city hall in west point. Each item will have a different price. If demand increases, so does the price. I will keep players updated on current deals and whatnot. Alcohol Some quality Wine might sell for a high price, whisky as well. I'd like to have "get togethers" at a certain location where all we do is drink in game booze and just mingle. So I had some ideas that I wanted to put out there, they are all multi player focused and mainly Dealing with PVE. 1) Safe houses: it would be cool if you could mark your safe house and what I mean by that is kinda two fold. One I mean it would be nice to be able to craft signs that you can mark your safe house clearly for others to see, renamed bags kinda work but real ones would be better. Two, a way to mark it for the meta game, meaning a kind of way point that you could have a general sense of how to get back home, also zombies could be attracted to it so you end up having to defend it. I guess because I'm noticed when I build a base far out in the woods I never end up having to deal with Zeds, with farming, fishing and soon trapping the out doors men type will end up playing a camping sim vs Apoc survival. My second idea ties into marking a safe house in the meta game, perhaps a way to set ownership on containers That flag people as raiders when the loot it, if you can only have one safe house marked at a time then people couldn't just set ownership on random stuff to prevent others looting stuff from place they wanna loot but don't have the means to at the time. I say this because if the server has pvp off there's no way to keep your stuff safe, people can just walk into your safe house while you are standing there and take your stuff and there is really nothing you can do. At least this way people could see at a glance who could be trusted and who can't.

  21. Bonjour, bonsoir, à toutes les personnes qui liront ce topic en fonction de votre heure et de l'endroit où vous le lisez ! Après quelques recherches sur divers forums je me suis rendu compte que les serveurs francophones Project Zomboid sont encore très rares voir quasi-inexistants. Après quelques déboires de mise en place (5h de boulot sur une machine dédié en lignes de commande), j'ai finalement réussi à lancer le serveur. I. Pourquoi Legacy ? La communauté que je dirige a pris ses origines dans Starbound sous le nom de Starmania. Peu à peu au vu du développement de celle-ci et des ressources consommées par le serveur je me suis rapidement mis à la configuration sur des machines dédiés (seules à tenir le choc). Depuis peu la communauté prend des airs de multigaming et un site est en cours de programation. Tout cela pour en venir au point important : Legacy (héritage en anglais) est une racine du nouveau nom de la communauté: StarLegacy (Héritage des étoiles), symbole de notre origine Starbounaise ! II. Les informations serveurs. Le serveur tourne sur une petite machine payée 120 euros et qui héberge d'autres serveurs de jeu comme Garry's Mod, Starbound, CS, ShootMania, etc.. Les caractéristiques machine : Modèle: Sys-i7-3 CPU: Intel i7-950 Cores /Threads: 4 c / 8 t Freq. : 3.06 GHz+ RAM: 48 Go (soit 32 de plus que la machine actuelle !) Disque: 2x 2 To SATA Réseau: 200 Mbps Connection : 1 Gbps Tout cela acheté dans un seul but : fournir une expérience de jeu toujours plus optimale aux joueurs. III. Nous rejoindre Dans un premier temps j'ai choisi de privatiser le serveur pour ne pas me retrouver face à des problèmes de grief, vol et autres fantaisies du genre. Aussi pour accéder au serveur je demanderais d'être âgé de 18 ANS MINIMUM (de 16 à 18 si la personne se montre vraiment motivé je peux éventuellement passer outre l'age). Ce n'est pas une restriction mais l'ensemble de ma communauté actuelle est âgée de 18+ et dans un souci des sujets évoqués je préfère restreindre l'accès aux plus jeunes.
