    Server Wipe

    Did anyone else encounter an issue where when you do a complete server wipe server side but the players will somehow still see old buildings they foritified? We had a house barricaded and had moved to the school, after a bit more of my friends started playing. When I did a server wipe, he told me the safehouse was back to the way it was with bodies outside, barricaded windows and even empty storage boxes that I had made. I went in admin mode and ran over there and found the house in normal, when he came over it did not look like what he said. It seemed that when I wiped the server, it doesn't wipe any of the player information cause its client side.
  2. I copied over the Bedford files from Ringods post into the maps folder without overwriting the Muldrough map files, then I copied the iso class files that EasyPickins posted earlier in this thread. Since I wiped my server when it wouldn't work I do not have the logs.
  3. I tried to get Bedford falls to work in mp on build 26 but everytime I logged in I kept getting stuck at initializing map.
  4. Can both versions be installed without causing issues? Cause the way server mods are working right now is each client has to have the files installed, it never sees anything installed in the mods folder on the server folder.

  6. Ah I figured out that I never downloaded the offline version, was only using the url, and I copied the js file into the offline folders. If it helps, it works normally in IE but not firefox. Edited: Suddenly its working on its own on firefox. Strange
  7. Sorry for the late response, I run my PZ in windowed mode in Windows, I can confirm that all the correct folders are there.
  8. Can't get it to work, followed the instructions exactly. I logged as a character that has admin power as well as a character just named admin. No UI is visible.
  9. I am unable to get the page to load, getting the same error with unable to open[object Object] Unable to load TileSource. When inspecting it with Firebug, the code below is the only highlighted code. I have that js file in every single mozilla cache folder and still nothing. Restarted firefox and nothing. By the way, this error only happens when I am trying to load the Muldraugh + Westpoint map, all the others load without an issue - <div style="background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent; border: medium none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; position: absolute; width: 100%; height: 100%; overflow: hidden; top: 0px; left: 0px;" class="openseadragon-canvas"></div> - Added - to the paste of the code cause it was not displaying it.
  10. How would I go about making the dried fruits/veggies usable with the new cooking system ie the salads and such.
  11. So after testing out putting a servertest_sandboxvar.lua file in the server folder and loaded up the server, I saw this message. Loading: C:/Users/Darrien/Zomboid/Server/servertest_SandboxVars.lua 0 loaded does this mean nothing was loaded from the settings?
  12. I installed the mod the way I thought mods were supposed to be installed for build 26, thought they had to be in the server folder in the zomboid directory not zomboid directory. I will try putting them in the installation folder but doesn't the server.ini need the files in the mod folder on the server side to be detected?
  13. Still getting the trace error, I am installing it by simply copying the folder called waterPipes into the mods folder on the server directory and the mods folder in the client folder.
  14. Currently zombies do not re spawn in multiplayer, would there be a way to mod it to where they do respawn similar to how they do in single player without requiring a soft reset or admin?
  15. Its not working for B26, I have it installed on the client and the server and get this message on the server console on load. MOD: required mod "Services Modifier" not found

  17. I didn't see any admin commands or toggle options in the suggestion compilation or current suggestions confirmed by the dev team so here we go. Create Horde on these coords - Currently zombies do not respawn in multiplayer, so the current work around that has been suggested is to make several admin character accounts and position them at various points on the map and spawn a horde of x number. Using coords instead, you can spawn the zombies without having to need so many of these admin accounts, especially if your playing with just a few friends in coop. Additem + quantity - Being able to add a quantity of amount of items to give to yourself or player would make repeatedly typing in the same command over and over again for items you use in bulk like planks. Godmode/Invisbility Toggle - When you spawn in as an admin, your default with godmode and invisibility one, I think it should be a toggle to turn off similar to the safety toggle. This way if I am playing with a small group of friends and do not have to make a separate admin character for this purpose. Soft Reset Options - I would like a function similar to how pzserversettings works but with the soft reset, say you just want to reset the entire map with zombies instead of the above create horde function. Here you go, this way you do not lose everything if you only want to reset the zombies. You can add other options for the soft reset for it to initiate. Teleport to Player or Teleport to coords - This is great if your administration a large server and need to check player activity to make sure nothing is going on. Gunshot/Chopper to coords - If you want to force a new hordes migration, it places it on a random player or area, this way you can force it to a specific spot. Most of these commands are based on the idea that I take from a GM or DM point of view in Dungeons and Dragons, controlling the environment and taking control of the AI Director. This mostly works for good admins but not abusive ones but then if you have a bunch of admin abuse your server is going to be empty soon.
  18. Create a file called Zomboid/Server/SERVERNAME_SandboxVars.lua. You can use PZServerSettings to create the file or just copy the one in ProjectZomboid\media\lua\shared\Sandbox\. SERVERNAME should be the name of your server passed with the -servername option (so "servertest_SandboxVars.lua" is the default name for the file). How do you make your own server name anyway? I couldn't find any option for it in the ini file.
  19. "Fixed client ignoring all sandbox options sent from the server." Where do you put the SandboxVars file for changes to the server setting? I know its in the shared folder in the zomboid folder. .
  20. Well if the server does not copy the files over, couldn't you technically install mods as long as all the players install the same files that is if your playing with a small select group of people?

I know the current code of mp is that zombies do not respawn at all, is there any way as an admin that I can force the server to do a respawn without having to go to various locations as a admin to do the createhorde, it would be great if I could just do a create horde at various coords instead of my current location.

When attempting to open the db file after launching the server first then shutting it down to add myself as a admin without having to login as a admin username, I get this error in SQLite Administrator "qAdmin cannot perform this operation on a closed dataset" I have tried completely deleting the db file, reloading the server, reinstalling the whole game and nothing seems to work. The servertest folder in the Zomboid directory is also empty despite a server being run and saved.
  23. I just did the manual configuration instead of trying to do save.
