  1. I haven't seen any yet but (correct me if I'm wrong) I thought the developer's (Mash mostly) intended to make curved roads. In fact I swear there are already some curved roads in the game near the area on the way to the mall?
  2. There needs only be one achievement "Survive for one year - AdricTheGreat". I don't see it as detracting from the game. Maybe some for sandbox settings, survival. Depends on the developer's decisions again but you've suggested it now so they can consider.
  3. I'm not with the idea of bigfoot but I can definitely support there should be far more easter eggs with how big the world is. Something that doesn't detract from the game world and fits 1993. Some say dragons wander the map and fly over you disguised by the sound of a helicopter.
  4. iirc, 33.13 Ah OK, now worries. I thought since it was officially released in Steam it should be build 33.
  5. I also in the bottom right it should say build 33 in-game? Or is it supposed to be build 33.13?
  6. Well I think you already kind of can by just standing still. But, yes, with the animation system I'd love to be able to sit down on the grass to rest and sort through my bags and eat/drink/reload etc..
  7. I love you guys, you work so fast. <3
  8. I've personally adjusted now. This is the first build since like... Build 25-26 I've survived for 19 days. And I've killed 100 zombies. Barricaded, barely any came to me, but one night they did break two windows at 4 A.M. Must have been the T.V. It was on the lowest volume though. My record is 1 month and 4 days. I'm so close to breaking that now. It's just in general, people who don't survive longer, don't like it. I've raged and said I hated the game and complained plenty of times because of dying within hours, but that's just general reaction to anything like that if you're feeling frustrated. This would clearly beg to differ on my rage... https://gyazo.com/d8beed4e2aca66455ac3d702a3389f3c They weren't all fun 327 hours. But 320 of them were amazing. (Alot of those hours are from the early days of MP, something I wasn't even excited about, but shows when done right it can suck you in.) The game shines when you're surviving, everyone is going to complain about dying easily. I didn't tone down the difficulty, I didn't use sandbox, I didn't look up tutorials. I slowly crawled my way up the ladder by learning from my mistakes. Now I'm having fun again.

    NPCs?

If you haven't, try the IWBUMS branch. Read the forum post about it. It has the radio and it feels far less lonely.
  10. That's really true. I'd hate for one guy/girl to be OP. Everything should have big downsides so that things are "only fit for the situation". So they wouldn't be wearing them constantly, only when it's necessary, even though I don't like ghillie suits to be in the game personally.
  11. I wonder if the "curfew" will have an effect on the military. How serious will the curfew be when there's military/NPCs? I've been glued to the broadcasts since I started my new play-through. They're really interesting. It makes it feel less lonely.
  12. I don't know about Ghillie suits. I don't think it's necessary. Proning may be in the game because there's an upcoming stealth system. That being said, proning should only be for scouting an area with binoculars to provide extra cover. Not moving, otherwise most people would probably play it like the new Battlefields proning everywhere. Prone as a hide mechanic as a passing vehicle's lights warn you of danger? Yes.
  13. This was discussed lots of times. I think in the commonly suggested suggestions armour was an (m) for maybe.
  14. Honestly, I don't think it will be added. Mods though, I know, will surely be filled with cures. Judging from the developers' vision so far, this doesn't fit in. Unless more about the story is revealed where Fort Knox or something had access to an unstable - what they thought "cure" - suppressant and it comes out on broadcasts it was being developed but doesn't say where. Personally, not my type of idea for PZ but maybe in the story?
  15. That's really cool. Can't wait until it's in the game! I hope TIS add loads more easter eggs, something we all can get in on finding or solving. In a game like this, the mystery can be huge especially with radio and TVs. Maybe put your post in spoiler tags.
  16. I mean, if it comes to that, all I can see being added is an extremely experimental vaccine or something where it either works or doesn't, if it works (rarely) maybe you live to see one or two more days maximum. I still don't like it though. This game's ending is dying, so take a normal game's ending and keep adding levels and levels to prolong the game before it and you're delaying the inevitable ending and also making it tedious. Imagine the levels are suppressants, as I said, it'd get tedious repeating those levels again and again. I can just see it as every day in your game running for medication rather then being able to do anything fun or varied. If the developers see it a different way, that's grand, maybe it can be a sandbox option. "Delay the inevitable - Allow zombie infections to be suppressed meaning you may live to see another day."

    NPCs?

Oh, well anyway, my point is still valid comparing TIS to a bad developer. Because they're hyped massively. What you said us what's currently happening, they're being updated in tandem with everything else. But we're excited. NPCs, we very much hope, will change Project Zomboid for better and bring the most interesting and refreshing scenarios, all going as planned. It can get annoying seeing the amount of NPC threads that were posted within days of each other, but I'm hoping that TIS will take it not as stress, but support to them after all these years. We're patient.
  18. Or the smaller buildings lose power first and the bigger buildings keep power a day or two extra. Or vice-versa. I'd love flickering lights and in-game lighting hints for the power failing.

    NPCs?

The Dead Linger, to me, is "the worst development team". They charged so much money to something as broken as TDL, then gave up the game, if I had bought that, I would be extremely upset. Plus, their updates were random and had no "Mondoid" type deal. Did anyone get money back from that game? I spent a fiver on PZ in 2011 and that's far less than its current worth right now. I know they'll come out sometime, and we'll be (or I'll be) laughing in those people's faces of how quick they were to judge a dev team that hasn't given up over, now 5 years. Even though I'd say it's four years considering the engine update all through 2012 and released on 2013, maybe three years? Personally if I was making the game, I'd genuinely have given up by now because I'd be worn out. I live in Ireland, cool.
  20. Well, I know visible backpacks will be a thing, not too sure about guns/holsters but it'd probably be possible to show them too. Like a rifle strapped over your shoulder. With animations and 3D models then they'd probably have a lot more options in doing this kind of thing. So hopefully.
  21. Basically I find goals when I deem them necessary. It all depends on the situation. Main goal is: survive. Which I haven't been doing to the best of my abilities.
  22. I thought this was already in the game? I swore I saw a flash of light accompanying thunder in the build thunder and lightning were introduced and were more common. Maybe I'm dreaming but shows how much attention I pay.
  23. Use a towel and bleach I believe? You already can do this.
  24. I haven't heard any popping since. Though, I haven't had really been playing with sound too loud.
