Deconstruct the things you have built. It would allow the player to remove items placed by mistake. It would allow players to expand with out the limits of the things that have been built during the original plan. It would allow a player to remove a player built wall and build a door frame and things like that. Some, if not all of the original building materials should be recoverable.
