One question though how did you solve the clipping issue using the bunker tiles? They don't usually draw as a solid wall.
Buildings look awesome though, good work.

Edit:So i downloaded your pack and visually, beautiful buildings. But they are a zombie death trap with single file hallways and rooms

In building 24x17 I noticed there wasn't a way to go upstairs because of a wall blocking the stairs, unless I sledge a wall from the bedroom?

So I'm only posting this because I like the idea, I know many of these scenarios are probably too complex to mod into PZ. But I thought I'd share them anyway.

Tired of zombies? Here are a few alternate game scenarios one could play with in Project Zomboid:

    1) Nuclear aftermath. Inspired by things like Jericho and The Day After, this game mode puts you in the middle of a radioactive wasteland that was once Knox County. The commie pinko bastards finally decided to nuke the ol' US of A, and now you're stuck in a hellish landscape struggling to survive. Louisville is a crater and the surrounding areas are full of radiation. Thankfully there are a few hidden bunkers scattered around the farmlands and forests of Knox County, and they may prove to be your only shelter from the apocalypse outside. How long can you survive?

    2) The Mist. Inspired by one of my favorite Stephen King novellas and movies, The Mist (and NOT by that piece of shit Spike series). A mysterious mist has spread across Knox County, filled with nightmarish creatures that have a hunger for human flesh. There is no escaping the Mist.  All you can do is pray that the monsters don't get you and that the military can arrive before you do something incredibly stupid like...wait, I can't spoil it, King would kill me. You'll have to watch the movie.

    3) The Purge. It might have been a shitty movie, but it's a pretty fun concept for a video game. For 12 hours, all crime is legal and all emergency services are unavailable. So go murder that sonofabitch that's been sleeping with your wife, or go loot that pharmacy, or burn down the local Spiffo's. Or, if you're noble of heart, you can board up your house and try to survive until 7 AM. Beware, though...the Purgers can smell cowardice.

    4) Non-Zombie Pandemic. Inspired by one of my favorite movies, Contagion. Imagine all the chaos of a zombie apocalypse without the actual zombies. Sure, it sounds boring at first. People start getting sick, the virus spreads across the world, millions die, and so on. But then society starts breaking down. People become desperate. And now you find yourself just as likely to die from a bullet to the head as you are from the pandemic sweeping the globe. A vaccine is being researched, but will you last long enough until then?

    5) The Long Dark. Inspired by the eponymous video game. A geomagnetic storm has wiped out electronic devices across the globe and caused dramatic climate shifts that have plunged most of the Northern Hemisphere into an unending winter. With no power, food is limited. With no heat, freezing to death is a very real possibility. The lights have gone out across the world, and now it's just you and the long dark.

Capt_Paradox got a reaction from Legoland99 in Can't place furniture in Building Editor. (SOLVED)
Ok so here is how to get it to work in ISO mode. It looks like it's clipping the wall and cutting it in half because most furniture are actually two tiles in size, so it doesn't count it as one solid entity in Tile Mode. It splits the two tiles(it takes 2 images to make one furniture sometimes) clipping the other half into the wall.

    SO go to ISO tab.

You see at the top for me it is grayed out too.

So on the upper right side you see it says Tiles and Furniture. Go down to Appliances - Refrigeration
Then click on the fridge in the bottom right corner that you want.

After that go to the little Chair icon at the top toolbar and click it again (this time it won't be grayed out.

Then select the spot you want to put your fridge and hopefully it should work like this.

Hopefully this worked for you! If not just message or reply again and I'll try to walk you through it.
Good luck and have fun mapping!

If I were a braver man and weren't so scared of learning to code I would try to do this myself...

Would it be tricky to throw together a mod that does something like this in MP (local co-op):
    -Trigger: Any player dies
-Spawn 10 zombies near random player
-Trigger noise on said random player to draw zeds to them immediately
-Add a counter to create +5 additional zombies next time this event is triggered.

Easy? Difficult? Could someone throw that together for me? I'm trying to get my buds to stop friggin dying all the time without consequence, while also adding a challenge for everyone else.

Exactly. A drop of blood in the eye and you should feel the symptoms start manifesting in a few hours at best. In real life killing a zombie that is either badly cut or bloated would cover you in gore, thus masks and eye protections should be essential to stop the transmission of fluids. It's just like a sneeze, which can travel for up to four-five meters,  and give you a chance of 7-18% in getting the flu.

The whole dirty clothes/dirty bandages thing would be cool, though it doesn't make sense to me if you can't shower off all the blood.

I always see zombies shows and movies where if they get bit = death, but you can run around splattering blood all over yourself in your face but not get infected?? Except 28 days later where the blood dripped in that dudes eye, props for that one.

Yeah, I'm always disappointed that I'm not finding VCR's and VHS tapes everywhere. At one point they almost felt like AOL Discs you got in the mail. TOO MANY.

Good memories though, so I would love to see this in the game. I guess my point is they were common as hell.

Add to the game form tape recorders and cassettes to them. They could have recorded movies to raise the mood and training programs ... by the type of viewing the training programs on TV.
It would be nice to bring a tape recorder to the shelter, connect it to the TV and enjoy watching movies. You can also copy cassettes and give them to friends using two devices.

I apologize if this idea has already been presented here.

I don't like multiplayer ( beyond providing an experience for others ), so I want a crafted sp experience, even if the NPCs don't ultimately rise up against mankind.

They just have to be better than what's on the market today (about equivalent to the 2012 iteration). Though I'll reserve judgement until they're back in, if anyone can do it, it'll be the TIS team. Deity love them for actually caring enough to try to be better.

    So.... it's been awhile.

Decided to push an update forward even though I still have a lot of WIP.
I've been struggling with design/render issues with one of my new areas "The Rocket" so it's held me back from detail work and other expansions.

    Either way, enjoy!

    Version 1.5

    - Updated Lab by back bunker: Medical Room, Autopsy Room, Staff Room, Offices, Computer Room and detailed some things.
    - Added 3 New Barracks buildings (WIP)
    - Added Rocket Launch Pad and Viewing Room (WIP) : I have been having issues regarding height of rocket as well as rendering. There is a possible alternative launch pad I have built that is still being tweaked to see if it is a viable replacement.

More updates coming soon, you will notice I have pushed back the Bunker to towards the back of my map.

This will hopefully allow me more room to build and develop some new areas for you to explore.

Input is always great. I'm guessing you haven't checked it out yet though? That's cool, but you missed out all the conversations I had about making bunkers about a year ago. Many have tried and there are quite a few reasons for why no one has successfully completed one. As far as I know my map has the only functional bunker ever made. That's only because I keep it as simple as possible and there are still things wrong with it.

In MP people can wreck the outside walls and walk into the angled hill tiles and sledge into the bunker.
The stairs use too glitch out running down the hillside and sometimes you'd get stuck. I think I fixed that if I remember.
Plants and tree's clip in to the sides of the hill so when you are under the bunker or walking down it just looks ridiculous :\
There's probably tons more I'm forgetting. But yeah it took months and really sucked.........Glad it's done.

    Blackbeards Example/Attempt at a bunker:

This other pic gives a great example how the rendering issues that happens sometimes when climbing my bunker.

Looking back I have to say Rico had a good suggestion about adding water tiles to prevent people from being able to sledge into my bunker. For some reason I remember trying that too, but can't remember what went wrong with that plan.

(Your thoughts are giving me PTSD remembering all the work it took just to make this functional) *Panic Moodle*

I'd consider it but I kind of enjoy making my shitty props . The small ones I don't mind adding something here and there.

The problem with the rocket is how big it is. I originally made it 11 stories and got carried away. So I tried a few ways to reduce it's size. I actually took down 3 stories of my rocket to make it fit.  I guess I'd be curious to see what other people could do so maybe I'll see if anyone is interested. Thanks for the suggestion.

I see a lot of people ripping images from other games, that's fine but I'd prefer all the stuff I add to be original by me or them.

This screeny below is another attempt at a launch pad I was working on yesterday too. I actually like it better than my other one. The only problem is the launch towers to the left and right are so tall that it creates a lot of visibility issues with that many floors (didn't use to render floors, in shadows from outside the buildings but the game does now).

My next idea might be to consider a launch pad off the water even (as there are other things I could do with the land).

    Version 1.4

    - Textures got bugged out during export/replaced some custom textures with my backups to prevent artifacts.
    - Removed some improperly placed props(lightswitches etc).
    - Added Custom Props/Textures: Microscope, Lab Flask, Blood Vials, Pack of Cigs, Ashtray, Can of Cola, Keyboard, Green Screen Computers, IBU Server/Mainframes, Communications Antenna, Bunker warning sign (currently hard to read but it says "Warning - Non-Military Personnel Will Be Shot On Sight" and more to come soon!
    - Piers removed on the docks have been returned!
    - Fixed some landscape/pathway alignments.

    Coming soon:
    - More Props
    - Fix doorways made for Nolan's Survivors mod (Originally door ways were made without doors as a foyer to prevent exterior doors from ever locking, used as a work around for his NPC's) Will be replaced with normal Doorways.
    - Add and detail Lab/Research building below the Bunker.
    - Add Zoning
    - Make my map multiplayer friendly (sledge prevention to keep people from blasting through my hillside).

Fixed brown artifacts on side of ship
Green screen computers(IBU Personal Computer) sadly not as pretty in scaled 1x, but at least 1x players will be able to enjoy them too. (Also pack of smokes, Can of Cola and Ashtray included in this pic)

IBU Servers/Mainframes, keyboard in front of monitors. Should consider making a custom large table later on....

    and of course

The piers have returned, enjoy depressed zeds committing suicide over the railings or use it as a shooting range! Either way they are back!
