  1. Moving windows, chairs, stoves, etc is coming in the next build. Try IWBUMS
  2. But still it's not visible that someone is actually pushing the cart.. My problem with it is that implenting farm animals into project zomboid to fit into the game world requires more attention to detail, since they are living creatures. I think it's a bit too easy like that in your mod. Yes, that's awesome and I totally approve of that. It's the attention to detail that makes vanilla zomboid so atmospheric to me. The setting just matches the time and events. Everything has its place (well, almost) It makes the game feel more real to me. I don't have a problem with your mod, I'm just not playing it. So don't worry about my not-so-thoughtful critique, because other people love your mod and won't play PZ without it. Yes, and we currently can't tell if you are wearing a back pack, and crowbars look like bats. This is a limitation of the base game, not exactly hydrocraft. Also as far as farm animals needing more tending, yes they are broken (eyes the rabbit hutch). But again, writing AI for animals is still writing AI we don't have it on the base game for NPC's or Animals yet. I'm sure once the code becomes avaible Hydro will update his mod to fit into vanilla.
  3. A torch made from a stick, pitch, ripped sheets/grass that I could carry and wield like a bat (perhaps with a low chance of setting a zombie on fire) would be awesome.
  4. I wish they would let you use screws to build with
  5. Also, doing it with planks would require MORE nails cause you'd have to nail each plank top and bottom. How wide are these planks?
  6. Lets say you are framing a 4x8 ft section of wall and then putting a piece of sheet rock or plywood on just one side. You need 2 nails (or screws) in the end of each stud. If we go by residential code in most places in the us it's a stud every 16 inches. 4ft x 12 in is 48 in. 48/16. Thats 3 studs. So 4x3 nails would be 12 just to put on the frame, then you'd at the very least want 4 nails running down the ends to secure the sheetrock or ply wood and 2-4 nails down your interior studs. So thats 10-12 just putting on the sheeting on 1 side. 22-24 nails to frame and sheet a 4x8 section of wall. That's not including securing the wall to the floor and celing. Nails go quick. If the PZ developers upped the needs to do things they could up the loot spawn. 1 20z bottle of water a day covers you in a kentucky summer? You'd need a gallon+ if you were doing anything active.
  7. I personally like the heavy breathing.
  8. Some of this you can do with hydrocraft already.
  9. Sounds to me like there's more to felling a tree than finding a fire axe and wacking at the tree with it You can JUST use an axe sure, but if you wanna be accurate with dropping a tree you will want a saw and a wedge.
  10. I am not opposed to more hot keys
  11. Actually felling a tree is better done with a 45 degree cut in the face of the tree about 1/2 of the way through. Then you saw into the back side about 1/4 of the way, then drive a wedge in with a maul or the back of your axe. As far as felling axes, provided you are using the axe properly you could cut all day and simply touch it up at the end. That's a actually what double bitted axes were for. One side would have a more robust blade geometry to cut up roots and such due to rocks. The other side was kept razor sharp for the actual felling.
  12. What would be more likely is the need to repair/clean them or risk a fire. Effectively having a health meter like the generators.
  13. I think this could fall under general survival personally. You need things to survive. Water, food, warmth, shelter. Being skilled at "survival" means you should be able to perform tasks to satisfy each of these needs to varying degrees
  14. We need a heater or some sort of heater in-doors. I recall playing on winter with a friend in a MP server and he burnt down the whole base down because he was sick and was freezing, so he used a campfire inside the house. We seriously need someway to heat up the house without actually burning the house. Wood burning cast iron stove
  15. A cast Iron woodstove that would effectively work as a safer camp fire (highly reduced chance of firespread) for indoor use would be fantastic. Espcially if you made the cold deadly (as it should be).
  16. Dunno if this has been a problem for others, but the sling (not slingshot) is bugged and crashed my game 3x in a row when loading it.
  17. Honestly, I agree. It's really bad, and with the skills and traits overhaul, every gun but the shotgun was made even more useless. Guns don't aim properly and you can't have skill with it. It's all based on your character's traits, levels, current moodles and whether or not the game wants to let you hit each shot.. We're using guns to deadly effect on Zeek's Haven, Redboid, and SpiffoSpace. Admins are, sure, but look at this edit "So you have a situation where your gun takes 1 - 5 shots to kill, while attracting 1 - 50 + zombies per shot. In this game, guns are a useless piece of junk..." Gotta be honest, it's impractical 70% of the time no matter how you look at it. 30% would be if you're an admin, are sitting behind a shop counter shooting zombies, and other circumstances like that where you are almost completely untouchable.Non-admin (on redboid) who has never had aiming above 7, I have personally killed 1000 zombies with a shot gun in a single sitting. I don't think it was the aiming system that changed rather than the skill level required to be decent with a weapon.I've done pretty damn good with a pistol as well but never carried that much ammo for it.
  18. Farming would be pretty simple, either a larger yield in the # of crops produced or higher quality crops (more hunger or bounuses to stress etc)
  19. "I'm gonna jump! None of you can stop me!" "Ow my leg! I'm gonna jump again once I get back up there!" Got bit on an MP server. Didn't feel like waiting it out.
  20. -sigh- Guess I'll make a repair man for smithing
  21. Couldn't you effectively give personality points to your character like the sims? Not sure how you would have them affect the game since you have way more control over your character in zomboid
