  1. I found out about PZ from Jefmajor, who occasionally does some streaming, and that time he happened to stream Project Zomboid. This was many years ago however and his play-through is no longer there because Twitch, Google and Reasons >_<. This was around the time when PZ had that bug where you would eventually be stuck in place and could not walk. However you could still aim, swing, shoot, etc. So the guy proceeded to take a minute, cue some 80s rock ballad on Winamp, opened the door of his man-made shack where a huge horde of zombies were knocking on and went out with a very long and loud bang. Check the guy out though; funny as hell, witty, does not jump in most let's players bandwagons and one of his most favorite game genres is Rogue-likes (and rogue-like likes ) and loves playing and supporting Indie games knowing he's getting absolutely nothing out of it from the devs. or anyone, just pure enjoyment.
  2. ... and the eventual and probable allergy to Penicillin that'll force you to find a more expensive alternative This one hits close to home.
  3. Oh boy... I know this is an old post, but... As someone whose native language is Spanish (and my native country being Neighbour to Argentina ) I can tell you whatever you used to translate that first line of text did the worst job ever at it to the point the English counter-part has a completely different (and negative even) meaning. No offence though! Just made me giggle. No se que programa usaste para traducir eso, Atoxwarrior, pero la traducción salio malisima, al punto de parecer que te estás burlando de Argentina jaja. Sin animo de ofender, solo me pareció gracioso
  4. Typos -.- -- particularly when people know they've misspelled something but they don't care to correct whatever they said! They don't care! That said, I have a lot of respect for those who do care and will go and correct their text when something has been pointed out and appreciate it when it happens to me. When you love languages that is a pretty decent way to learn. What's the first video game you've played?
  5. Mira! A hunt! Let's join in, boys! Things got dark real quick...
  6. It's because I'm a little short that I am a Stormtrooper. Don't judge. If you could have any question answered to you, no matter how ridiculous or far out but only one, and be certain that the answer is 100% true. What would you ask?
  7. John Oliver's Salmon Cannon. In Homer's defence, that cannon can beat almost anything!
  8. This does look pretty awesome, maybe a bit too awesome to be true. Kickstarter is enveloped in so much darkness that I don't trust it anymore. It's the same thing with Early Access. The only reason I opted to support Project Zomboid is because those many years ago when I played it for the first time the game was already fun, and honestly aside from some bugs it felt like it was nearly finished; I grabbed the game and had a ton of fun with it, even watching other people play it. The fact that it has come to what it is today and that it's still moving forward at a very good pace is a great bonus but really, even if PZ were to die down today I've already had more than my money's worth out of it in enjoyment. -- Can't say the same about a game that looks more like an art piece than anything else. It'll be interesting to see where it goes from here though. Side note: I'm still waiting to see where Star Citizen is going . Cheers!
  9. Eh... just a little more *"space debris" would have taken care of her for good... *Using that term veeery loosely. I'm sure Alfonso Cuarón wouldn't mind.
  10. Nope, not really :/ Sorry. If you've done everything to the letter, and double-checked the stuff I mentioned... I can't imagine what could be wrong. Perhaps your firewall blocking the forwarded ports? Windows Firewall? I sort of figured you had also already checked that.
  11. I had no idea your Internal IP could change lol... Have you tried this using your default Internal IP? without fiddling with it?
  12. ... and what does the checking program say? Also what do you mean by "I've set up a static ip for the internal ip"?
  13. Well first of all, how are you 100% sure your port-forwarding is not working? Asking because the first time I tried to set up my own private friends server It didn't seem to work either, although the problem was that my friend was copying and pasting my IP address from steam chat, and that sometimes causes a phantom space character to be copied as well, and if you type a space at the end of an IP address into the game it won't recognize it and fail to connect. Make sure that's not the issue Also make sure you are forwarding your ports using the correct internal IP; If you go to Start and open the Command Prompt window, then type IPCONFIG, the IP you should be using is the one listed as IPv4 Address (in my case: 192.168.1.49). This is not only the IP you need to use when forwarding your ports, but also the IP you need to use when connecting to your server (either that, or type localhost where the IP goes). Also as a reminder, you will need to open/forward as many ports as players you want in your server. However: If your specific router allows you to type in a range of ports (Start and End [something like that]) then you do not need to add one entry per port. Instead you type 16261 as the "start" port, and say... 16265 as the "end". That'll be as if you had added 5 port forwarding entries but much simpler, although not all routers offer this. Note: Also make sure the protocol for the entry of the forwarded port/s is set to both UDP and TCP. Note 2: If your router does allow you to type in a range of ports, you will have a total of 4 text-boxes; 2 "start port" and 2 "end port". You need to type in the exact numbers in both "Internal" and "External" columns. So if you typed 16261 to 16265 under "External", you need to type the same 2 numbers for the "start" and "end" text-boxes under "Internal" as well. Let me/us know if you've double-checked all of that Otherwise make the changes and see if things work! Cheers!
  14. Success Through Incompetence!

  15. You're probably right. I'm not used to playing multiplayer modes/games. I was just speculating based on my experience which seemed to be differ from everyone else who posted before me. But I guess there are way more factors when it comes to Project Zomboid and multiplayer. Cheers!
  16. Ah, alright Thanks a ton! I imagine this is something the *others* have to do, as my as the host use the internal IP or localhost to play. But awesome to know! Cheers!
  17. Could you please explain that again? I believe I do have a dynamic IP although it hasn't changed yet in my own private friends server. What exactly do I have to do if my IP changes?
